Chance drove in silence as he made his way to the place where Gary had sugggested that they meet up. It wasn't as though he was comfortable with the fact that Gary had requested for this meeting, and that he was honouring it. But what choice had he got? If Gary could be desperate enough to ask for a meeting, then he must definitely have something worthwhile to talk about.

Aariving at the loaction, Chance was surprised to see that the place was a quiet, tucked-away lounge on the outskirts of town—neutral ground, calm lighting, soft music, and a layout that allowed privacy without hiding. It was exactly the kind of place Gary would pick if he wanted a conversation without interruptions or drama… or witnesses.
