Freedom and Redemption

Ruth sat in her prison cell, her mind filled with memories. She had fought for her brother's freedom and managed to save him from the clutches of Mr. Donald. Alex was now a free citizen, having not stolen anything for four years. Ruth's sacrifice had been worth it.

As Ruth reflected on her journey, she knew that justice had been served. She had fought for the truth, even at the cost of her own freedom. Now, she awaited her own redemption, knowing that one day, justice would prevail for her as well.

The Revelation

Alex and James went to see Ruth before her big day the next morning. Around eight o'clock, she was going to court to face the man who had raised her like a daughter, only to discover his involvement in her parents' death, as evidenced by the newly found evidence.

"How are you doing, sis?" Alex greeted, noticing a hint of sadness in Ruth's voice. "I'm okay, little bro," she replied with a smile.

Concerned for her well-being, Alex suggested bringing Doctor Martin before the case. James, with his irresistible charm, added, "Just to be safe, can you please see a doctor?"

Doctor Martin entered the room, and Ruth questioned if they had planned this visit together. "I was just dying to see you," he said, embracing Ruth. They exchanged pleasantries, and Ruth inquired about his daughter. Doctor Martin smiled, saying she missed Ruth dearly. Expressing her regret for not being able to save his wife, Ruth was comforted by Doctor Martin's gratitude for saving his daughter.

After a regular check-up, Ruth's condition was deemed fine. Doctor Martin promised to be with her during the hearing, acting as a father figure. Ruth was grateful for his support.

The Courtroom Drama

The next morning, everyone anxiously awaited the start of the trial. Ruth was brought in, her hands cuffed and her movements restricted.

At precisely 8:30 am, the case began. The judge recounted the murder of Mr. and Mrs. Banda in 2000, and how the accused, Steven, had taken his own life. However, Ruth had reopened the case, presenting new evidence.

Ruth's lawyer played a video that revealed the horrifying events of that fateful day. The masked robbers had invaded Ruth's home, killing her younger siblings in front of her parents. Ruth's mother recognized one of the robbers, leading to a dangerous turn of events. The robbers subjected Ruth to unspeakable acts before ultimately killing her parents and taking her with them.

The courtroom was filled with anguish and tears as the video played. Alex, especially, was devastated when he saw himself as a young boy, forced to witness the tragedy.

The Truth Unveiled

Overwhelmed by emotions, Alex was escorted outside by concerned individuals. Ruth, locked on the other side of the cell, was questioned by James about her decision to show the video to everyone. Ruth, wiping away her tears, explained, "I want people to see why I became an assassin. I want them to feel my pain."

After a one-hour break, the trial resumed. Alex was called as the first witness. He stood before the court, turned to face Mr. Donald, and began recounting Ruth's heroic actions.

Alex shared how Ruth had saved him from Mr. Donald's goons when they were just children. He described how she had sacrificed her freedom to protect him, ensuring he had no criminal record. Alex revealed that Mr. Donald had killed their friend Benny twice, leaving the courtroom in shock.

Alex then revealed his own unique gift, a small computer-like device that allowed him to connect to the courtroom's TV. He played a video that exposed Mr. Donald's true intentions and his involvement in various criminal activities.

The Final Stand

As the video played, the courtroom was filled with a mix of shock and anger. James, unable to contain his emotions, revealed that he was supposed to be Mr. Donald's real son but had been deceived and his mother killed.

The judge called for order, and Alex continued his testimony. He explained how Mr. Donald had taught him to scam people, showcasing his exceptional skills with the computer. The courtroom was astounded by the revelation.

As the evidence played on the screen, gasps filled the courtroom. The video showed Donald, Ruth's supposed father figure, meeting with a mysterious man in a dark alley. They exchanged a briefcase, and it was clear that they were involved in something sinister.

The lawyer continued, "This video was found in Donald's secret hideout, along with documents linking him to a criminal organization. It appears that he was not only involved in the murder of Mr. and Mrs. Banda but also in various illegal activities."

Ruth's heart pounded in her chest as she watched the evidence unfold. She couldn't believe that the man who had raised her, who had been like a father to her, could be capable of such heinous acts. Tears welled up in her eyes, but she refused to let them fall. She had to stay strong for her parents, for justice.

The courtroom was filled with tension as the judge called for a recess. Ruth's lawyer approached her, concern etched on his face. "Are you okay, Ruth?" he asked softly.

She nodded, wiping away her tears. "I never imagined that Donald could be involved in all of this I watched them happening but I guess I was too young to understand. I trusted him I thought he was fighting his enemies too but I was wrong, and he betrayed us."

Her lawyer placed a comforting hand on her shoulder. "We will get to the bottom of this, Ruth. We will make sure that justice is served."

As the trial resumed, witnesses were called to the stand, each testifying to Donald's involvement in criminal activities. The evidence against him was overwhelming, and it became clear that Ruth's decision to reopen the case was the right one.

Throughout the trial, Doctor Martin stood by Alex and Ruth's side, offering them unwavering support. He had become a father figure to them, someone they could rely on in this difficult time. His presence gave them both strength and determination to see the trial through to the end.

People where surprised but gear to know how Benny died twice so he added another video.
