6. A new skill 'Mannager'

AT MARCH 3RD

AT THIRD PERSON'S POV:

At the entrance of a currently prestigious travel firm, Michael nervously straightens his tie as he waits for the elevator. The doors slide open, revealing his friend and younger boss Adam.

"Adam's friendship has risen to 76%. "Wanessa said.

"It's a lot."Michael said in his mind.

"You have to reach 80% to open a task."Wanessa said.

Michael smiled at Adam a bit nervously. Yesterday Adam sad that Michael is going to meet his father and it made him to be more nervous than before.

Hey, Michael! Nervous about meeting him?"Adam asked.

"You bet I am. This interview could change everything."Michael said.

As they step into the elevator, the doors close behind them and both of them going to reach an upper floor.

"Don't worry, you'll do great. Just be yourself."Adam said supportively.

The elevator dings, signaling their arrival on the top floor. They step out into a sleek reception area, where they're greeted by a polished receptionist.

''Good day, are you looking for someone?'' Receptionist asked.

 

''We want to meet Mr. Garcia,'' Adam said. ''Names?'' the receptionist asked again. ''Adam Garcia and Michael Smith. Adam said.

 

''He is waiting for you in his office.''A receptionist said and smiled. As soon as she said that Michael and Adam started walking towards his office room.

In a bit, they take a seat in the stylish waiting area, where Michael fidgets with his tie nervously.

"Relax, Michael. You've got this."Adam said.

Before Michael can respond, a distinguished man emerges from one of the offices, his presence commanding attention. It's Mr. Garcia, the founder of the firm.

"Adam, good to see you. And you must be Michael. Welcome."A man said.

"Pleasure to meet you, sir."Michael said.

The pleasure's mine. Let's step into my office and have a chat."The man said.

As they enter Mr. Garcia's office, Michael can't shake the feeling that there's something familiar about him. It's only when Mr. Garcia begins speaking that the realization hits him.

"Wait, your last name is Garcia?"Michael whispered.

"Yeah, why?"Adam asked.

"Mr. Garcia, are you related to...?"Michael asked with a surprised tone in his voice.

"Yes, Michael. I'm sure you've heard of him. He's my father."Adam said.

As soon as processes the revelation, Mr. Garcia gestures for them to take a seat in his office, a comfortable yet imposing space filled with leather-bound books and framed awards.

"It's my pleasure to meet you young man. My name is Elias."I said.

"I heard that you one of the started owners of this 'Rise-up' company. I am really grateful to meet you in person."Michael said.

"Adam friendship level is 79%, Elias 60%. One more procent and you have task avialable."Wanessa, aka my system, said in my mind.

"Thank you, Michael. I appreciate your kind words. But let's focus on you for now. Adam speaks highly of your skills and potential."Elias said.

"Michael has an impressive track record, dad. I believe he'd be a valuable addition to the firm. He started investing in us when we were little, I am sure we can make it work out something even better."Adam said.

As soon as Adam said that Michael saw a screen appearing in front of him.

"Mannager task' 90 procent chance to complete a new skill"

"I accept."Michael said.

As soon as he said he noticed that Adam's dad smiled at him.

Michael, I must admit, that your enthusiasm and potential for our firm from the start have left quite an impression on me. I'd like to offer you something beyond just a position within our firm."Elias said.

"What do you mean, Mr. Garcia?"Michael asked.

"I'd like to offer you a 10% stake in the company."Elias said and smiled.

Michael's eyes widen in disbelief, his mind racing to comprehend the magnitude of the offer. It was something he did not expect to hear.

"A 10% stake? That's... that's incredibly generous, sir. But why me? I'm just starting out."Michael said.

"Because I see something special in you, Michael. Your passion, drive, and dedication set you apart. I believe you have the potential to make a significant impact on our firm's future. Having this means you will have a mannager position here and sometimes I am going to ask for your help making decisions."Elias said.

"Good work, buddy."Adam said.

"I don't know what to say. This is beyond anything I could have imagined."Michael said nervously.

"Consider it an investment in your future, Michael. With this stake, you'll have a vested interest in the success of the firm, and I have no doubt that you'll help lead us to even greater heights. I am sure that your talent will show off here even more."Elias said.

"Thank you, Mr. Elias. I won't let you down."Michael said.

With a firm handshake, the deal is sealed, marking a key moment in Michael's career and solidifying his commitment to the firm's future success.

''Task manager was complete''

"Good work, host," Wanessa said.

"Thanks,"I said.

"I am so happy for you, buddy. Let's go to your cafe celebrate."Adam said.

"I want see your cafe too."Elias said.

"Of course. I want show you it oo."Michael said happily.

The next day inside the cafe Michael smiled at Adam and Elias. The mannager skill for him meant opened up new oportunities that he did not wanted to waste it. For him it was chance to expand his buisness and he was ready for it.

"I am excited about it. I am sure it will be good in a future."Michael said.

"You doing great. Level 6 got new skill. I am sure it going to be great in future."Wanessa said.

"I am happy to hear it. Time to improve my cafe even more. A lot of people love it. I am sure I can use 'Rise-up' help to mke it even better."Michael said.

"Of course, sir."Wanessa said.

Michel smiled as soon as he got eveything ready for his guests lunch. Time to make sure everything goes on how it's planned.

As Wanessa entered, supported by Michael's arm around her waist, she couldn't help but feel a surge of excitement and excitment. ''Michael, look at this crib! AT OCTOBER 2ND AT MICHAEL'S POV: Wanessa groaned as she tried to get comfortable on the couch. Michael was trying his best but sometimes it wasn't just enough.
