The Saviours Guild

[2nd January 2120 Saturday 9:12 am]

"Mn..." Apex groaned in bed. He woke up and tried to push himself out of bed, only to flop. 'I need more power!' he tried again to push himself, but the urge to sleep was stronger!

Flop!

'Uh, I can't win!' he struggled once more, with some epic music to fuel him. The song reached its best part. "Ha!" he pushed himself out of bed. He got up, looking back down. 'One minute wouldn't hurt,'

[10:03 am]

One minute became another until he fell back into sleep, "Yawn... I regret nothing."

Moments later he left the shower with his phone in hand, "The hell is with the internet?" He checked YouTube the moment he entered and found a video on him to be on the recommended page.

"Who is Apex? Frances hidden expert. Hahaha, I'm not hiding," he laughed changing himself and heading downstairs, on the table he found breakfast already made with a letter for him, "Thanks, dad."

He scrolled more and paused, "All my guides have been bought?" He took aback by the speed although there were millions soon to be billions playing this game so his number isn't that much.

He switched to his account, 'Damn!'

[Account name: Felix Green]

[Balance: ₤26,064,178]

"I'm rich! Hahaha!" he laughed eating his breakfast, soon he frowned seeing a call from an unknown number, "Tch!"

He hung, and ate quietly, 'does this mean we should move? I should.'

"School... I might just quit and focus on the game, honest, would dad support me though?"

He cleaned the dishes and returned to his room, 'Millions of people play If I can make that many books and sell them before competition arrives, I'll be happy but I can't make anymore because there already bootleg versions.'

"I am so buying a car to go to school, oh," he glanced at his phone noticing a message from the group chat.

[Guys can we meet up at the bar, I wanna hear them out.]-Scarlet

[You broke up with that ho?]-Jack

He let out a breath he didn't know he was holding.

...

[Welcome back to Haven player Apex!]

Apex's eyes opened he was back in the game, "Ah~"

He stretched coming accustomed to his body, he opened his DMs, "So many."

["Dear player we of the..."]

"Too many guilds are interested in me too bad," he kindly declined every invitation he got no guilds existed, it was a rather large gathering. "I need to reach level 20 today."

[" Hey Apex I'm a hot single..."]

"Delete."

There were so many he had to sort through some were pointless girls trying to get with him others were from guilds trying to recruit him. All was boring until.

["Dear Apex we of the Lion guild would like to offer you a golden opportunity to become one of our guild members for future events you will be nourished into a proper expert and assured the best luxury as part of our elite squad."]

"..."

He deleted the message and blocked the contact, "I've been given a second chance I'm never joining them. once I reach tier one I'll raid their vaults and destroy their guild."

He closed his menu and opened his status.

He put all eight points into his body increasing his health, "Haha I love this feeling!" he smiled leaving the Inn.

His next move was preparing for the first dungeon available it was located in the centre of Jaws Forest. The level 20 Ent dungeon.

"Alchemy and Mechanic I also need to license the ore mines as fast as possible."

Mines were all around all the Arcadia kingdom he didn't remember all of them but one he remembered was a good one for all ores.

But one step at a time he didn't need to rush not, yet anyway everything right now is to prepare for the end year event.

'Which one of the producers was the anime fan?' he was recalling the end-of-year event. He walked past the market looking for some supplies for potions he had in mind.

But suddenly he was brought out of mind.

"Hey are you Apex?" he was grabbed out of his thoughts by a green-scaled dragonkin behind were two fox beast women and silver the other red and an elf healer.

"Haha no sorry I'm just a fan," he shrugged and walked away, 'I don't want problems.'

Just as he was about to escape the commanding voice from their leader spoke, "Hold it."

'... Shit,' he turned around seeing four standing two Fox girls a female healer elf and a green-skinned dragonkin male, he knew who they were, the dragonkin Arnold, the elf healer Satya of the Saviourls guild, the red fox woman Blackswan, the silver fox woman Re-Bunny who was also the vice guild leader of the Saviours guild.

Re-Bunny stepped to speak, "you are Apex, I can understand-"

"Hold it," Apex said stopping her, "whatever you're selling I'm not buying."

With that he turned around and left Re-Bunny she was dazed for a moment turning to her colleagues Satya glared daggers at Apex's back, Arnold simply shrugged, and Blackswan didn't care.

"Tsk, come on," she followed after him, "He doesn't want to be bothered, why can't we respect that," Blackswan asked as she followed her leader.

Hearing her words Satya exploded, "Swan! The way he just acted, he didn't even acknowledge us! how can we let him walk like this?"

"I'm guessing he does but doesn't care the slightest," Arnold jumped in as a voice of reason only to receive a similar glare from the elf.

"Shut up, Arnold, nobody asked your opinion," the elf barked at the man.

It was then Re-bunny stopped, "Huh? Why is he going to a bookshop?" she hurried, following Apex with the others trailing behind her.

They entered the bookshop to see Apex leaning over the counter talking to the cashier, "I wouldn't believe it myself, all the others were begging for more guides, hahaha."

The cashier owner of the shop was a wolf beast-man his hair groomed and clean glasses, "Haha I had a feeling, knowledge is power after all, oh new customers haha welcome to my bookshop please feel free to browse."

'The fuck!?' Apex glared at the four of them as they avoided eye contact and went to the back of the shop, pretending to browse.

"Ha, so anyway I need more blank journals everyone wants to know how to properly integrate into the city and I fear more people will come, so I'll need more books from you, sir."

Behind him, the others watched on as talking in their party chat.

["This is where he got the guides from!"]-Satya

["No it isn't, didn't you hear he buys empty journals and fills them, then puts it on the market."]-Blackswan

["Hmm... we could help him purchase and split income, that way the guild can also sell guides because we can copy the entire books."]-Arnold

["My thoughts exactly, Arnold."]-Re-bunny

Re-bunny stopped pretending to browse and made her way to the counter, the two who were talking sales stopped turning to her.

"Hello, sir, apologies for dropping in like this but I'd like to pay on my friend's behalf," she motioned to Apex who held a bewildered look.

'What is she doing?' he paused, realizing what she meant by that, and soon his beak curved into a smile. He said nothing.

"Great, that'll be 45 gold coins," the owner said.

'40 silve-' "Eh? Could you please repeat that?" she froze, as did the others they could hear their conversation across the book store.

"40 gold."

Her silver hair and ears stood on end as she turned to Apex, "H-how do you have?" she turned to Apex who was enjoying every moment, "What do you think I shared everything in my guides? Also, my achievements have you forgotten."

The girl's face in return froze before turning red, "r-right," she was so startled she forgot his achievements, right now he was the richest player in the game.

The shopkeeper raised his brow at this, "please don't embarrass yourself, I have nothing against you or the saviours' guild, but I just want to have fun."

"Well, ma'am, will you be paying or not?" the owner asked but, "..." she said nothing shaking in defeat her tail and ears flopped.

"Alright that's another 40,000 books along with uncommon Item ring the reduction of the price of 40 gold coins," he smiled as Apex handed a bag full of coins the next moment the journals took over more than all his inventory space.

"Oh, it seems you can't carry anymore, hmm perhaps you should buy an adventures bag or a ring, actually wait a moment I'll be back."

With that the shopkeeper disappeared rummaging for something, leaving Apex and Re-bunny at the counter, "So can I ask you guys to leave now?"

Re-Bunny felt a loss for words before she composed herself asking, "We would like you to produce more breaker steaks for our new members, we've discovered the 4 stat improving recipes and want to order the same thing for 1000 of our members," she asked concluding that she could at least secure this.

"Yeah, that better be the limit of those steaks or else because we all lost 10 free attributes because of those shit ones you sold us, hm!" Satya added crossing her arms.

Apex frowned at the elf's attitude, "... I don't like her attitude towards me so no, and there's no room for negotiation now leave."

He pointed to the door. Satya was about to rebel against his words until the others glared at her, shutting the elf up.

"Ah I found it," the owner said coming back with a case of rings, "Well the other shops have rings as well in case someone buys more than they can carry and sense you've given 40 gold I can take a break and lend this shop to a friend of mine. I would give you all of these, but just take one of the 10."

"A-are these storage rings!" Satya beloved staring at the collection of rings.

"Yep," the owner patted his chest the others also looked at the showcase gulping these bags and other Items increased storage by 50-100 slots, but rings rumoured from the trailer held more space.

"Ah, c-can we buy those?" Satya asked, moving further to the counter in-between Apex and Re-bunny.

"40 gold, elf," the owner glared, shattering Satya's hopes.

"Hm..." they all watched as Apex looked at the rings, 'I have no skill to inspect them, and they're all black too, so I have to take a gamble,' he reached for the middle one thinking it was the safest choice and equipped it.

[Storage Ring(Blue)] [+50 Slots]

"Ha, thank you for this gift," the others could only envy the situation, the shopkeeper nodded and put it away, after some more talking with him Apex switched his pouch for the ring and sold it to him.

He left after putting another copy of the guides online for the same price. Just like that, he made double the amount in his account.
