“What the fuck is going on here?” Tyler's jaw dropped, still in the shock of seeing Elena moaning to the touch of another man. He'd loved her with everything he had but it still wasn't enough to keep her loyal.
“Mr. Janitor, A.K.A delivery man, mmn… Pathetic.” Jose, the man Elena was entangled with, said as he held up his trousers, upset at Tyler for interrupting what was set to be a great time.
“Yeah I'm a Janitor, and delivery man, you got a problem with that? Huh?” Tyler's voice was filled with anger and disappointment at the same time.
“Be a janitor or whatever all you want but please use a deodorant for God's sake man, you smell like shit!” Jose mocked and Elena covered her lips with her palms laughing. “Elena, I can see this clown is making you laugh.” Jose added as he saw the shameful look on Tyler's face.
“No honey, it's you Jose, you're so funny and interesting to be with. Unlike someone else standing right here covered with sweat.” She looked at Tyler from the corner of her eyes. “I'm interesting? Tell you what honey, I got a gift for you.” Jose caressed her cheeks right in front of Tyler and she hugged him happily.
“Oh thanks baby, you never get tired of giving me gifts.”
“I can't help it Elena your beauty deserves such gifts er’ day. And besides, I ain't poor like the sweaty Janitor right here, I got money right here and I got it in the bank.”
Every second spent in that room broke Tyler's heart the more, he turned to leave in anger but froze for a second as though he'd just remembered something, then he returned to ask Elena “You're really doing this to me? Elena, after everything we've been through?” He hoped his words could awaken a part of her that still cared about their marriage, a part of her that still loved him. But he was shocked to hear her say “I want a divorce!”
“What?” Tyler scratched the back of his head with his mouth widely opened, It was the biggest shock he had since their marriage. “Are you doing this cos I still haven't bought the expensive bag for you? Or the other Jewellery?”
“This ain't about no Jewellery or any designer shit alright? I don't want this marriage anymore. In fact…”
“In fact you can't even hit her right in bed. Ha ha… She wants a strong man to do it right” Jose cut in to complete the sentence.
“What did you say to me?” Tyler moved forward with anger, his eyes red and his fists clenching.
“All I'm saying is, you're so terrible at finding things. You've lived with Elena all this while and you still can't find her G-spot!” He wrapped his hands around Elena’s waist, rubbing and feeling the soft texture of her warm skin as Tyler watched.
“Don't touch my wife like that you Bastard!” He charged forward and slapped Jose's hand off his wife's waist and held her by the hand. “We're going home now!” He said to Elena as he powerfully led her to the door.
“Leave me alone! I just said I don't want this marriage anymore. Is that difficult to understand?” She screamed trying to bite Tyler's firm grip off her wrist.
“Where the hell do you think you're taking her to? You smelly Jerk!” Jose rushed and pushed Tyler down to the floor and pulled Elena back towards him. “Security!” Jose called at the top of his voice and three men walked in with uniforms. “Throw this good for nothing fool outta here right now!”
“Let go of me!” Tyler struggled as he was being held down.
“Oh I see he doesn't want to leave. You want to stay and watch the show? Huh?” Jose opened the box of condoms. “You wanna stay here and hear your wife screaming my name?” He gave a mocking wink.
“Up now! Let's go.” The security said to Tyler as they led him out the door, pushing him out like a criminal who'd been resisting an arrest.
“Wait a minute.” Elena rushed forward with some papers in her hand and slapped them on Tyler's chest. “Right there, the divorce papers, I don't want you no more!”
Everyone around bursted into laughter. “The fool delivered condoms and his wife delivered divorce papers!” Someone said and the laughter erupted again. “Man… This clown just gave another man the tools to smash his own wife!” Another voice said.
“I know right it's pathetic, it's some movie stuff right here.”
“And when they're done smashing his wife, he can come clean the mess, he's the janitor ha ha…”
The air changed as Tyler stepped a foot out of the hotel, no more smell of alcohol, no insults and no loud music. But before he could take a breath of the fresh air, a phone call came from his Boss, “You are fired!” Tyler froze for about a minute. He couldn't believe he heard that right. “The customers complained bitterly about your professionalism, and due to several other pending violations, we've decided to relieve you of your duties Mr. Tyler Welensky.”
"Oh my God!” He managed to say after being speechless the moment his boss hung up. The promotion he was looking forward to had gone down the drain, his wife had handed him the divorce papers and last time he checked, he had no friends to turn to. “Elena really did this to me? I've been working myself out to give her a good life and she repays me by sleeping with another man?” Tyler whispered to himself as he approached the company's motorbike, “Hey Tyler!” Someone called and he turned to see a young woman winding down the thick glasses to a black SUV passing by.
“Bella, what are you doing here?” He recognised the beautiful face.
“The question should be, how long will you continue to hide? Come in Tyler, we've got a lot to talk about, a lot that will make you regret ever going against your father's will.”
