“Has the Sinclair family made any moves?”

Valmor remembered that after he had slapped Arabella, he had given the Sinclair family seven days to apologize.

The Sinclair family had not been involved in the Kross Family massacre, so Valmor had given them a chance to live. Of course, if they failed to recognize the situation, the War King’s word would inevitably come true!

A favor must be repaid; a grudge must be avenged. Actions speak louder than words—this was Valmor’s character!

“The Sinclair family, being a martial world clan, has long been looked down upon and approached with caution by the prestigious families of Smaora City. Therefore, the Sinclair family has remained at a distance from the Barbar Family and others, without getting deeply involved,”

“However, the Sinclair family has already begun investigating news about Your Excellency the The war King, stirring restlessly and waiting for an opportunity to exact revenge!”

The man reported respectfully.

Of course, in Dannell’s eyes, the idea that the Sinclair family could investigate Valmor was utterly laughable!

The Supreme War King, a five-star Marshal, secretly known as the Valhalla Calling —any information about him was undoubtedly the nation’s top secret. What could a mafia family like the Sinclair family possibly achieve by trying to uncover details about such an exalted figure?

To Valmor, the Sinclair family was nothing more than a flea. He could play with it if he wished, and crush it with a single finger if he lost interest—effortless and indifferent.

The vehicle gradually left the bustling city. Finally, it stopped in a luxurious villa district.

“My Lord, we’ve arrived at your residence,” Dannell said respectfully.

Valmor got out of the car.

Kingsfall Mansion.

The most luxurious villa district in all of Smaora City.

Golf courses, natural hot springs, gardens designed by famous designers—everything one could imagine.

In this prime real estate, residents were either wealthy or noble, the top figures across every industry in Smaora City.

Facing Shadowmere Lake and backed by Mount Highcrown, the location symbolized a rare accumulation of wealth and power.

“My Lord, please follow me,” Dannell led the way into the villa district.

Valmor’s new residence was at the highest point in the district.

Kingsfall Mansion, Villa 01.

Occupying the district’s peak, it overlooked all other villas, giving a sense of dominance over everyone else.

Apart from its location and designation, Villa 01’s architectural style was no different from the others.

Yet its position and number implied that anyone living here was a hero commanding respect, above the rest of the villa owners—a symbol of identity and status!

When Villa 01 was first built, countless wealthy and noble families expressed interest. But in the end, no one dared live there; being so conspicuous was too risky.

To live here was to declare oneself the top figure in Smaora, inevitably attracting hostility.

Even the strong and domineering Barbar Family ultimately abandoned this villa. Moreover, the Barbar Family deliberately left it vacant.

The meaning was clear: if the Barbar Family wouldn’t live here, who else in Smaora City would dare?

Anyone moving into Villa 01 would be challenging Smaora’s reigning authority.

Thus, Villa 01 remained unoccupied until this night, as no one dared oppose the Barbar Family.

Tonight, however, Villa 01 finally welcomed its master.

Upon entering the villa, Valmor casually walked around to survey it, then said to Dannell.

“I’m going to sleep first. Make sure you watch every member of the three major families—don’t let a single one escape!”

“Yes!” Dannell replied gravely and exited the villa.

****

The next day.

Valmor woke up early, quickly washed up, and changed into casual clothes before stepping outside.

He strolled through the villa district. Located away from the busy city, facing the lake and backed by mountains, the air was exceptionally fresh. Soon, he noticed another resident.

A villa garage slowly opened, and a blue Maserati drove out.

As it passed Valmor, the car stopped.

The window rolled down to reveal a rare beauty. Her features were breathtaking, lips red, teeth white; though her makeup was light, it did nothing to diminish her natural charm.

She wore a white women’s blazer with short sleeves, revealing delicate wrists, and her rounded, firm chest lifted the white blouse beneath. She stared at Valmor with a strange expression, then asked sweetly.

“Are… are you coming out of Villa 01?”

“Is that a problem?” Valmor replied calmly.

“You’re not from the Barbar Family, yet you dare live in Villa 01. You must be from out of town, right?”

The beauty scrutinized him, furrowing her brows.

Villa 01 had effectively become a forbidden residence in Smaora.

Anyone daring to live there was openly challenging the Barbar Family’s authority!

The villa had remained empty for a long time. Seeing someone actually move in shocked her.

“I’m not from out of town, but I haven’t been back to Smaora City in a long time,” Valmor said.

The woman hesitated, then, with a friendly expression, advised. “You should move out quickly—best to leave now! If you wait too long, the consequences will be serious. Villa 01 isn’t for just anyone!”

“I bought it with my money. This is my house now. Why should I move?” Valmor smiled calmly.

“You’d better listen to me. This is for your own good…”

The beautiful woman shook her head, thinking to herself that this man in front of her certainly carried an air of distinction. Yet, he seemed unaware of the special nature of Villa No. 1. If he insisted on staying and refused to leave, he would likely be courting death.

Boom!

After saying that, the woman rolled up her car window and drove off in a flourish.

“My Lord, this woman is a leading figure in Smaora’s advertising industry, a famous and beautiful CEO. Her name is Ismeryn Solvaris. She graduated from a prestigious school and started her own business at the age of nineteen. Today, she has become an advertising giant in Smaora City,” Dannell appeared behind Valmor at this moment, reporting.

Valmor said nothing. After all, she was just a stranger; there was no need to dwell on her.

“My Lord, the Sinclair family has already contacted three subordinate factions, offering a bounty of twenty million, intending to… intending to buy your head. The Barbar Family tacitly approves and even appears to be providing covert support,” Dannell continued.

“The Sinclair family… truly lives up to their reputation as a streetwise clan. Their actions carry that underworld flavor, resorting to assassination at the drop of a hat. But a bounty of just twenty million—are they implying my life is worth so little?” Valmor smiled faintly, completely unconcerned.

Dannell immediately snapped to attention, his gaze icy as he said, “My Lord, I will eliminate them all immediately!”

At this moment, Dannell’s heart was already brimming with murderous intent.

A mere small underworld family had dared to show disrespect to the Lord of a nation! They must be out of their minds!

Although the Sinclair family did not yet know Valmor’s true identity, their bounty alone was enough to warrant a death sentence.

“I had originally intended to give the Sinclair family seven days. It seems they are truly eager to die. Very well, I will personally pay the Sinclair family a visit,” Valmor shook his head.

“My Lord, a mere underworld family is not worthy of your personal attention!” Dannell was startled and hastened to say.

“It was I who gave them seven days in the first place. Since I’ve changed my mind, it’s only fitting that…before they die, they should at least know why I decided to end them,” Valmor said calmly.

“Yes! I will prepare the vehicles immediately and head to the Apex Dragon Group headquarters,” Dannell responded in a low voice, obediently, without daring to speak further.

The Apex Dragon Group headquarters was the foundation of the Sinclair family.

The entire Apex Dragon Group was involved in Smaora’s entertainment, real estate demolition, mining, port shipping, and other industries.

According to Dannell’s intelligence, the head of the Sinclair family was currently holding a meeting at the Apex Dragon Group headquarters.

Soon, Valmor got into the car and headed straight for the Apex Dragon Group headquarters.

Meanwhile, on the top-floor conference room of the Apex Dragon Group headquarters, the Sinclair family members were gathered for a meeting.

Attending were the Sinclair family head Victor Sinclair, second uncle Markus, eldest son Lucas, and second daughter Arabella.

Among the Sinclair family, the second daughter Arabella was the most highly valued.

Unlike her elder brother Lucas Sinclair, who had dropped out early, Arabella had graduated from a prestigious school and earned a master’s degree in business administration.

In particular, over the past two years, Arabella had begun managing the family business, expanding their enterprises impressively. Through her exceptional abilities, she had brought considerable profits to the Sinclair family.

Even Victor Sinclair, the actual head of the Sinclair family, intended to groom Arabella as his successor. Young, beautiful, educated, exceptionally capable, with an extraordinary background and strong family assets—a woman excelling in every respect—Arabella was like a proud and stunning phoenix, admired and revered by ordinary people.

Yet, such a woman destined for greatness had suffered an unimaginable disaster the night before—a humiliation beyond words.

She had been slapped publicly!

And…in full view of everyone, she had even been so terrified that she lost control!

Such humiliation left a deep psychological scar on Arabella, one she would never forget for the rest of her life!

Even now, recalling the moment she was slapped by Valmor, Arabella trembled with fury, gnashing her teeth as she shouted,

“Father! Second Uncle! Elder Brother! You must help me kill that bastard Valmor! He has brought me a lifetime of unprecedented shame, leaving me no face to show anyone. I want him dead! I want him to die without even a grave!!!”
