Chapter 71

Gordon stepped away from his daughter's bedroom door and searched for Levi's number in his phone.

Just as Gordon found the phone number, his phone rang and it was Sultan calling.

Gordon answered the call still heated up with anger, "yes?! What do you want?!" he asked Sultan.

"Lower your voice when speaking to me," Sultan said, calmly.

Gordon felt his breath get wedged in his throat as he held back his contradicting emotions. What happened tonight made him hate Sultan even more than he did before.

"Why are you calling me? I just left from meeting you." Gordon said, in a calmer time than the first.

"That's more like it," Sultan said, causing Gordon to grit his teeth.

"I called to give you a warning. I don't remember if I already told you before or not but all I know is that I am saying it now. The meeting between us should be kept a secret from Levi. Remember that he lives with me. if I get the slightest hint that he knows anything..." Sultan paused to let his words sink in.
