Silver wind exploded violently throughout the chamber.

BOOM!

The crimson cultist was thrown backward instantly before crashing against the far wall. Cracks spread across the stone surface while dust scattered through the air.

Leon stood near the shattered doorway with cold eyes.

Wind currents spiraled sharply around his body while his silver hair moved beneath the violent pressure filling the room.

His gaze remained fixed on Kael.

Or more precisely—

On the darkness surrounding him.

Black energy flickered faintly around Kael’s trembling body while shadows twisted unnaturally across the chamber floor like living creatures.

The sight alone felt wrong.

Leon’s chest tightened slightly.

Even standing several meters away—

He could feel his mana becoming unstable.

The cultist slowly rose from the rubble while laughing softly.

“So the golden heir arrives.”

Leon did not look away from Kael.

“What did you do to him?”

The cultist grinned beneath his hood.

“We merely awakened what already existed.”

Kael grabbed his chest painfully while breathing unevenly.

The whisper inside his mind had become unbearable now.

“…Awaken…”

Black veins spread further across his arms.

Leon immediately noticed.

“Kael!”

Kael slowly looked up.

And for a brief moment—

Leon froze.

Kael’s dark violet eyes no longer looked fully human.

Thin darkness moved within them like endless shadows twisting inside a bottomless abyss.

“…Run…” Kael whispered weakly.

The shadows exploded outward instantly.

BOOM!

The entire chamber shook violently while black energy surged across the walls. The remaining furniture shattered immediately beneath the pressure.

Leon’s instincts screamed danger.

He moved instantly.

Wind currents wrapped around Kael’s body while Leon forcefully pushed him backward moments before black spikes erupted from the floor where he had stood.

CRACK!

Stone shattered violently.

The cultist laughed louder.

“Yes…”

His voice trembled with excitement.

“The Void awakens beautifully.”

Leon’s expression darkened.

“What is this power?”

The cultist slowly spread his arms.

“The power that once terrified the world.”

Crimson mana erupted around him again.

“The power your clan tried to bury.”

Then suddenly—

The cultist lunged directly toward Kael.

Leon reacted immediately.

SLASH!

A massive wind blade tore across the chamber and sliced through the cultist’s shoulder violently. Blood splattered across the broken floor.

But despite the injury—

The cultist continued smiling.

“You still do not understand,” he whispered.

His crimson eyes locked onto Kael once more.

“He does not belong with humanity anymore.”

Kael’s breathing became increasingly unstable.

The shadows around him continued spreading wider.

Every emotion inside him—

Fear.

Loneliness.

Pain.

All of it seemed to feed the darkness further.

“…They fear you…”

The whisper sounded almost gentle now.

“…So why keep resisting?”

Kael grabbed his head desperately.

“STOP!”

BOOM!

A shockwave of black energy exploded outward instantly.

Leon crossed his arms defensively as violent pressure slammed into him. Even his wind mana became distorted briefly upon contact with the darkness.

The cultist laughed hysterically.

“Yes!”

“Yes!”

“This is the true Void!”

The windows shattered completely while darkness spread across the ceiling unnaturally.

Outside the chamber, guards screamed in panic.

“The western wing—!”

“What is happening?!”

Leon narrowed his eyes sharply.

If this continued—

The entire manor would notice.

He looked toward Kael again.

The boy looked terrified.

Not malicious.

Not hateful.

Terrified.

And somehow—

That made the situation worse.

Because Kael clearly wasn’t controlling this power.

“…Kael!” Leon shouted.

For a brief moment, Kael’s trembling eyes focused on him.

Leon clenched his fist tightly.

“Fight it!”

The words echoed sharply throughout the chamber.

The cultist immediately snarled.

“Silence, heir.”

Crimson mana erupted as the cultist attacked Leon directly.

CLANG!

Wind and crimson energy collided violently across the room while shockwaves shattered more stone pillars.

Leon pushed forward aggressively this time.

His expression hardened.

“You people caused this.”

The cultist laughed coldly.

“No.”

Their blades collided again.

“Humanity caused this.”

Leon’s wind exploded violently and threw the cultist backward once more.

But before Leon could finish him—

A freezing sensation suddenly spread across the room.

Everything stopped briefly.

The cultist’s grin widened slowly.

“…He’s coming.”

Leon immediately turned toward Kael.

And his expression changed instantly.

The shadows around Kael had become denser now.

Darker.

Almost liquid.

Black energy slowly rose around his body while cracks spread beneath his feet.

Kael himself looked barely conscious anymore.

“…Too loud…” he whispered weakly.

The whisper inside his mind had become countless voices now.

“…Awaken…”

“…Devour…”

“…Become whole…”

Kael trembled violently.

“No…”

Leon instinctively stepped closer.

“Kael.”

But the moment he approached—

The darkness reacted instantly.

BOOM!

A massive wave of Void energy exploded outward violently.

Leon’s eyes widened as his wind barrier shattered immediately upon contact.

He was thrown backward across the chamber before crashing hard against the wall.

CRACK!

Pain shot through his body instantly.

The cultist stared at the scene with fanatic devotion.

“The Void rejects mana itself…”

Leon slowly looked up again while breathing heavily.

His silver eyes widened slightly.

The black energy surrounding Kael was consuming nearby mana completely.

Even the air itself felt distorted now.

And at the center of it all—

Kael looked completely broken.

“…Help…”

The weak whisper barely escaped his lips.

That single word caused Leon’s expression to tighten.

Then suddenly—

BOOM!

Golden mana exploded through the corridor outside.

Magnus arrived instantly alongside Seraph.

Both of them froze briefly after seeing the chamber.

Destroyed walls.

Twisting shadows.

Kael standing at the center surrounded by darkness itself.

Seraph’s expression paled immediately.

“The Void is erupting…”

Magnus’ eyes sharpened dangerously.

“Move aside.”

Golden mana surged around his sword instantly.

Kael slowly looked toward his father.

For a brief moment—

Fear flashed across his face.

Because Magnus no longer looked at him like a son.

Only a threat.

“…No…”

The whisper inside Kael’s mind laughed softly.

“…He will kill you…”

The shadows around Kael exploded violently once more as overwhelming Void pressure consumed the chamber entirely.

And for the first time—

Magnus Veyr drew his blade against his own child.

The estate stopped feeling like a place after the third recalibration cycle. It still had walls, corridors, towers, and seals—but none of them behaved like fixed architecture anymore. Every hour, subtle adjustments passed through the mana network like invisible corrections. Not repairs. Not damage control.Learning.Seraph stood in the central control chamber for a long time without speaking. The projection in front of him showed something that should not exist in a regulated system: a living pattern map of the entire Veyr estate. The night did not pass normally inside the Veyr estate anymore. It felt segmented.Like time itself had been divided into controlled intervals by the mana suppression arrays surrounding Kael’s sealed room.
