He then brought out a bottle of water and poured it down her throat. Then he observes her. After a while it seems that she is no longer such in pain

During the year that Gaozhu of Tang, Li Yuan rebelled and captured Chang’an, Li Yuan wanted to execute Li Jing.

The reason is because Li Jing had tried to report the rebellion plans of Li Yuan to Emperor Yang
