My name is Ronin. I'm a freelancer, and I love reading novels. However, I never thought I would die due to the extreme frustration I experienced after reading a novel called "Savior of Mankind." Yes, you heard me right. I died due to extreme frustration after reading that terrible "Savior of Mankind" novel. After I died, I woke up in the form of a sword and realized that I couldn't do anything in this state. Then, a light in the shape of a human appeared in front of me and said, "As for your last wishes, I am going to reincarnate you in a parallel world that is completely based on the novel that caused your death." "But wait, what are my last wishes? Why am I reincarnated as a sword? Why are you sending me to that terrible planet based on the awful novel that led to my death?" shouted the consciousness of Ronin, which resided inside the sword. What will the human-shaped light do before sending the sword to that parallel world? What will the sword do after it enters that parallel world?

"Mother," I opened my eyes. Everything around me is a haze. I gazed at the candlelight. It was wobbling from side to side. I noticed a woman seated near me, but everything was fuzzy. I heard a voice unexpectedly. It was a woman's voice, echoing in my ear. She was singing a low-toned lullaby. "Mother, is it you?" I heard my name, "Maxilin, I am here." "Mother," I said with a tremble in my voice. I have no idea what's wrong with me. I reached out cautiously to touch her, but she was out of my reach. "Where are you, mother?" "Oh, my beloved, try to hold me, come here, " "Mother," Maxilin tried to stand up, but he was too weak. Maxi narrowed his eyes in an effort to see her face clearly, but he couldn't because everything was fuzzy. A woman in a white outfit moved in front of his sight. Maxi took a few steps forward while still gripping the chair. "Mother, don't leave," he murmured, dizzily. As he said, he saw in his fuzzy vision that someone had opened the door. "Mother, please don't leave me," Maxilin pleaded. He let go of the chair's hold and dashed behind her. "Mother, don't leave me. Wait." In his frail state, he shouted and followed her. "Huf". In the middle of his path, he stopped. "Mother, you've left me here alone," "Maxi," he heard the voice unexpectedly. Maxi glanced up and looked around. It's all clear now, but he's stuck in the midst of the woods. He gazed up at the sky. A giant moon was staring at him, and a horde of deadly, voracious creatures were roaring around him. "Son," someone touched his shoulder, he looked back, saw a terrifying creature standing in front of him. "Hello, dear."

They mocked him, calling him useless—the forgotten second son of the richest man alive. When his wife’s family threw him out after using his brilliance to rebuild their empire, the world saw him as a fool. But what they never knew was that the man they humiliated had already built a trillion-dollar empire in secret. Now, the man they looked down on is returning, not to beg—but to reign. Every family that laughed will crawl. Every traitor will pay. “The difference between you and me? You needed me to rise. I only needed betrayal to awaken.”

Being the only son and a part of the richest and most powerful family man in the world was really something to look out for and considering the part of the comfort and recognition it brings makes it more amazing and interesting. I love the access my family's wealth and given me and everything but one thing i never liked about it is the fact that i can not go out as every other person without being noticed and attracting unnecessary attentions which made me not comfortable but thinking about the other part of being rich. I still want to be rich even in my next world.

I saw a small figure of a young boy running away from us in the distance.A wolf stood in the boy's shadow.However, this wolf was enormous.It had a head as big as a bear's and stood five feet tall at the top of the hump. It had pale grey fur.The boy was being chased by a worg, not a wolf.The boy had a good lead, but the massive worg's strides would quickly reduce that lead.In a split second, I made up my mind.I made a hasty dash for the boy.Lisa was also moving quickly, and she was following me.However, looking back, she faltered.I was aware that she has not yet regained her strength.Regardless, I turned back to the boy who was still running straight at me and said, "This way!Come to me!The young man gave me a nod and fled as quickly as he could.However, I was aware that the boy would be overtaken by the worg before I could even miss him by a few feet.I raised my arm back and pulled out my hatchet.Duck!”I let the hatchet fly as soon as the boy fell.

I was born during the pandemic and it was not over for the past twenty-five years. Oceans were drained. Trees and flowers were no longer existing. Having water was harder each day that many people chose to die instead of surviving. I envy those people who could afford water— the rich ones and the most privileged people around the world. Poor people liked me were not allowed to get water more than what was intended for us. In other words, it was a system that dividing the rich people with limitless water sources and the poor people with limited water sources. It was a system that we needed to obey or else we might lose the life we were struggling to survive. I wanted to surrender but there was only thing that hindered me from dying— Cardinals of Auresia. It was an online game that I wished was real. There, I could build my own kingdom with my own system. I thought that sanity left me for it seemed real to me. Not until I found out that it was the solution for the suffering of the world.
