Imagine saying, ‘My husband is home babysitting a kid.’ I’d rather say my goldfish ran away!” She continued, bitter and harsh: “If I didn’t get pregnant, I’d never have married you. Lily slows me down, and you… you slow me down the most.” Adrian, silent but composed, finally spoke: “Let’s get a divorce.” Vanessa erupted in rage, smashing the dinner he had prepared, shattering more than just plates. In that moment, Adrian walked away, leaving the chaos behind.
