After the misunderstanding between Xaviel and Serena had been dealt with, she and Mika guided him through the woods. On the way, Serena expressed her interest on how Xaviel managed to enter the forest in the first place. Xaviel then replied with a simple chain of “I don’t remember, I don’t know”. Mika trusts his words, though that action just made Serena doubt him even more.

By no time, the three of them had successfully exited the forest and made it to the entrance of Kirzig Village.

“Halt!” said a man in his thirties. The Man who said it was none other than the Village gatekeeper. He was dressed quite similar to Serena and Mika though with a bonus of using a chest plate.

“Big Bro! This is Xaviel! Mika found him while playing in the forest!” said Mika to The Man, accompanied with an innocent smile on her face.

“Well, AT LEAST If you know Mika was tailing you, You could I don’t Know Maybe go to a safer place?” Maru said with a sarcastic tone.

“BETTER THAN MIKA FINDING A STRANGE MAN THAT DOESN’T EVEN WEAR A SHIRT FOR GOD SAKE!!” Maru replied with a loud tone.

(Seriously bitches? I am still here, you know. Do my feelings not matter at all?) thinks Xaviel whilst holding a sharp cry.

“HUAAA!!!” Suddenly Mika cries in front of the three.

“We’re just acting!!” Maru continued Serena’s words.

Serena then faces Maru, and his face signals, ‘Just Go With It.' Serena nods and said “ Yes we’re just acting. We thought it would be interesting, so we both agreed to act around,” said Serena.

“Is that true... Big Bro?” asked Mika sobbingly to Maru.

“Mmm. Kay… Mika, sorry for crying and misunderstanding,” said Mika.

“Hey No worries Mika, wanna go eat candy?” asked Serena.

“Okay then, Let’s go get some!” Serena managed to convince Mika.

“Sorry you had to see that,” said Maru.

“My name is really Xaviel, and I lost my memories,” said Xaviel.

“Hmm.. You say that but how can that make me trust you?” Maru replied.

(Just as planned. I deduced that it would be easy for him to make me blabber about all the things that prove me innocent. But, If I were to make him ask questions, the probability of him not finding what to ask would be higher. Though in a normal interrogation it would be easier for the interrogator to ask, this is not one of those conditions. I already stated that I am suffering from Amnesia. There’s no way he won’t ask any questions that I can’t answer). Xaviel plans ahead.

“Then, if you’re suffering from amnesia, how come you remember your name is ‘Xaviel’?”

"Thanks, Big Sis!" said Mika while chewing on a chocolate bar.

In response Serena smiled, then she took out coins from her wallet and gave it to the sweets merchant.

"Here you go," she said. The merchant then replied, "Thank you very much, Serena."

Serena and Mika then walked away from the sweets merchant. They walked through the main road and marketplace of Kirzig Village. The market is filled with merchants that have various wares. Suddenly Mika, who was originally holding Serena's hand, stopped. Her hand slipped from Serena's fingers. So she stopped as well and faced Mika.

"Mmmmmm…." Mika mumbles.

"Mika? Is there something wrong?" Serena asked.

"Mmmmmm… Mika worry bout Mister pack!" she said with a sad face.

(Mister Pack? Is it because of his six-pack? God, where does she hear this kind of stuff), Serena thought.

"Hmm, Does Mika worry about Xaviel?" Serena asks to clarify who Mika is talking about.

"Who's Xaviel?" Mika replied with a genuinely confused expression.

(My God Mika I should be angry right now, but you're so cute!) thought Serena.

"Mika's worried about The Six-Pack Mister, right?" asked Serena.

"Ah yes! Mika worry bout him!" she said while making a sad face yet again. She then ran a little in the opposite direction of where she was originally heading.

"Sis Serena! Let's go back to meet mister," said Mika whilst she continued on running.

"Mika, wait!!!" Serena shouted.

Unfortunately, Mika had already blended with the crowd, seemingly running towards the previous gate. Serena then ran as well, chasing Mika through the marketplace.

At the entrance gate, Xaviel is still halted by Maru. It's been approximately 25 minutes since Maru asked him the question. Yet Xaviel hadn't responded to him. After the question, Xaviel had gone silent.

(This is bad. Really frickin bad. I had no way of getting past the town's gate), thought Xaviel. 

(Oh well, guess I'll just leave) Xaviel then turned around, preparing to leave the village. As he stepped, a voice suddenly called out to him.

"Mister Pack!!!!" shouted a girl.

Xaviel's hand is suddenly grabbed.

"Hmm?" Xaviel turned his head around and looked at his hand. A girl was holding his hand and said, "Where are you going, mister?"

"Ohh it's you Mika. Nothing I am just-"

"MIKAA!!!" Maru shouted as he pulled Mika away from Xaviel.

"Aw, that hurts, Big Bro," said Mika.

"Mika! Please listen to Big Bro. That man is suspicious. He's dangerous!" Maru said to Mika.

Mika retaliates from her brother's detainment. 

"Mmmm...Mister, not bad. Mister good guy," Mika replied to Maru.

"Why are you so persistent? You haven't even met this guy before!" Maru snapped at her.

Maru's loud tone was enough to make Mika cry. She tantrums while constantly punching at Maru.

"BIG BRO NO LOVE MIKA! BIG BRO BAD MIKA NO LIKE, HUAA!!" Mika said while crying out loud.

"Enough, Maru," said a familiar voice.

"I'll be responsible for him," said Serena as she walked to Xaviel.

"I claim Xaviel as my slave thus, you will allow him to enter the Kirzig Village," said Serena.

(Wait.. What?) Xaviel thought his face showed signs of confusion.

"Always a way out huh, Serena? If Xaviel so accepts that claim by his own right, I'll gladly let him pass," said Maru.

Serena then whispered to Xaviel's ear, "Just accept it. I promise I won't do anything harsh. Just say the words 'By my own personal right and want, I accept Serena's claim, and you'll be my slave."

Xaviel then whispered back to Serena, "Thank you, but you do realize how stupid that sounds."

"Well, do you have a better idea?" said Serena.

(What should I do? If I were to accept it. I'll be Serena's slave, but at least I'll be able to enter the Village), thought Xaviel.

"I just don't want to see Mika sad just because she can't see you anymore. I'll promise I won't do anything harsh as long as you continue to behave, deal?" Serena asks.

(This is basically a gamble. I don't know if I can trust Serena that much. But, since Mika already does this much just to help me. I can trust her to say the least. Huft, can't believe I am doing this), thought Xaviel.

"I, Xaviel, By my own personal want and right, accept Serena's claim!" I shouted intentionally so Maru, Serena, and Mika would hear.

"Very well, from now on, Serena is your Master, and whatever Xaviel does is by your responsibility, Serena," Maru clarifies.

"Yes, I am aware of that," Serena replies.

"Alright, then you may enter the Kirzig Village," said Maru.

"Yey!! Thank you Big Bro and Big Sis. Mika loves you both so much !" Said Mika whilst happily jumping around no longer crying.

In response, Maru and Serena smiled at her. Mika then smiled wider and proceeded to skip around while entering the gate of Kirzig Village once again.

"Come Xaviel," Serena said as she walked in front of me.

Xaviel finally walked past Maru the gate guard, though his face was clearly saying 'I'm watching you!'.

(Maybe this isn't the best way to enter the village. But I am grateful enough I managed to enter. There's so much info I need to gather. Especially finding my way back home.  Not gonna lie, kinda afraid of what will happen. I'm basically a slave now.) Xaviel thinks about how things will go, and out of nowhere.

BRUK!

Serena suddenly falls to the ground.

"Sister Serena!!!" Mika shouted.

"What the? What just happened?" Xaviel mumbles. He then saw a figure wearing a hood running from the opposite direction from them.

(Shit! What did that man do to Serena?) Xaviel clenched his teeth.
