Elizabeth referred to the creature as her father. As soon as I heard her, I put my sword down. When it heard Elizabeth, the creature let out a groan.

Elizabeth: Is that you, father?

[The creature groans]

Kazia moved slowly in our way. “Does it hurt you, father?” Elizabeth asked again.

Tears streamed from the monster’s eyes.

“Elizabeth, he’s no longer your father,” I said quietly. I’m feeling guilty. What if Elizabeth said I killed her father? What do I say at that point?

“No, Maxilin, he is my father. I recognized him,” Elizabeth responded calmly. Her tone startled me when I heard it.

How is she able to be so calmed down?

I had no choice but to do this. Her father had already passed away; it is against the law for a person who has died to remain on earth. The devil had simply imprisoned Mr. Alex’s soul here, and his soul needed to be freed, or else things would be more difficult. Even those demons made connections with Elizabeth’s soul. But God help this little girl.
