CHAPTER 10

The fight began with Abraham clearly overwhelmed. Demons are S-class beings, but some of them are just B-class. However, the ones Abraham is fighting are definitely S-class. Their magic power was intense, not to mention their blood lust. But one question kept bugging Abraham even though he needs to focus so that he wouldn't get killed and be eaten by them. And that is why are demons here? Aren't they supposed to be in the demon realm? What the hell is happening? However, those question won't be answered, he needs to live another day to find out. Fighting 3 S-class demons was just too much for Abraham who is just a server of the hall and is not even an adventurer yet. But if he is to rank himself, then he is at least at between E and D-classes. He doesn't know. He trained to fight monsters, not demons. That is why he is struggling, as he was now on the defensive side, which then again, was not a good sign of this fight. Abraham swung his sword to the left, but the demon there dodged it. He then regained his balance and then tried to slash the one at the middle, but that demon dodged too. It was no use. He has no chance on beating them in this kind of state he is in. Abraham is exhausted. His mana is almost drained, and he can feel himself blacking out any moment now. However, he made a promise that he will go be right behind his mother and be united with his family. He can't possibly die again, not today! Abraham stepped his right foot forward and left the other one behind. He then swung his sword down as fast and as strong he can, and it miraculously hits the one at the middle. It cuts the demon in half, as its dark blood flooded the floor. That attack, however, was the cause of a massive toll. Abraham's sword began to wither and shatter, and it wasn't until it completely became dust. Low class weapons are really not good against demons. But the good thing is, he managed to defeat one. And there are two more to go. So, how would he defeat the final 2? But as he was thinking, the two demons got even more enraged as they then attacked Abraham with their blinding speed. In a split second, Abraham was then sent hurtling down and through the floors of the hall. He landed on the dungeon of the hall, and rats ran as he arrived. He was now bleeding heavily, as that last attack was just so powerful that he is feeling that a lot of his bones are now broken. He is now at the lowest level of the guild hall. And with the demons going down to finish him, Abraham smiled as he is about to die again,

"Sorry, Dad, Mom, and Sylvie. I'm about to—"

"Master!" and it was that same voice again.

Abraham looked around, but no one was here. It was just these bunch of weapons and some stuff from the adventurers. This dungeon is basically the weaponry of the hall. He looked for the one who just spoke, but there was no one here except for him. He was about to stand up, when a demon suddenly landed on his stomach, and it knocked the air out of him. The other one arrived at the dungeon, and that demon giggled as it picked Abraham up, and threw him across the dungeon. Abraham slammed and went through tons of crates and weapon racks, until he reached a particular part of the dungeon. As he looked up, with hope already leaving his body, he then saw this sword dangling on a chain. It was shining, and it was also just a plain old sword. However, something feels off about it, and then,

"Wield me, Master!" the man's voice screamed again.

But this time, Abraham now knew where it was coming from. He forced himself to stand up, as he walked towards the mysterious sword. As he was about to grab it, the demons have finally appeared with menacing grins on their faces,

"Shan moryia At el Ta." Says the demons simultaneously.

At first, Abraham did not understand what it meant. But as he touched the sword and drew it, the words finally made sense,

"All hail the mighty King." Is what they are saying.

Abraham pointed the sword at them. He will die, he is sure of it. However, if he is to die right now, then he will have to bring these bastards along with him. Because in that way, he may die, but the people, including his family will be safe. But how?

But that's when the sword spoke through Abraham's mind again,

"Raise the sword and say this incantation." The sword then told Abraham the spell.

And that spell was one of the forbidden spells of lightning magic. A powerful spell that can wipe out a whole town but using it will mean the demise of its chanter. However, there is no other option. He needs to bet on this one, as he doesn't want to die useless again. So, Abraham raised his sword, the demons charged at him and was ready to bare their teeth and rip his flesh apart. Abraham took a deep breath while closing his eyes. And when he opened it, and just hopes that no one gets hurt,

"Ultima Lipera!" Abraham chanted.

His eyes seem to release lightning themselves, as he was then engulfed with lighting. The demons who were about to attack him suddenly gets fried by the lighting. Meanwhile, the evacuees of Ozo were on the hill where the Warlock family lives. Everyone is now looking down at the down to see that a giant storm cloud covered the entire the town. The monsters and demons stopped attacking as they all looked up the sky. Lighting crackled and thunder rolled, this is truly something to be frightened of. While everyone was shocked by what they are seeing, Marge suddenly went next to the Warlock family who was worried about their son. This feeling, this aura from the magic, it is without about. He is the one who summoned this spell. She hated to break it to them, but they must know,

"Josephine, Fil. That giant cloud is summoned by your son. His safety is not guaranteed but let us just hope that he survives this." Marge says.

"What?! Pablo! Avery! Let's go and bring Abraham here!" Filbert ordered.

The two nodded, but as they were about to go down the hill to go and save Abraham, Eryx suddenly blocked their path. They stopped,

"What is the meaning of this, guild master?!" Filbert yelled as he is now demanding for an answer.

"I know what you are feeling, and ye, I want to save him too, since he is someone, I grew a certain interest in, especially as a future adventurer. However! See that veil-like thing?"

Everyone then looked and they saw this kind of mist that is circling around the town. Eryx then explained that it is a barrier created by the caster of the spell himself to protect those who are outside the town. He is only targeting those inside. Which means, no one will be able to go through that barrier once it has blocked the path. If a person forces him or herself to go through that barrier, the force it is containing will burst out and potentially wipe out its surroundings, and it will kill them all.

"But still! I can't let my son die! It is not—"

"Do you trust your son, Filbert? If you do, then trust him! He can pull this off. As of now, there is nothing we can do. It is either we force ourselves in and let thousands of people die, or we stay put and see this through." Says Eryx.

That leaves Filbert with no choice. Josephine was already tearing up, as she can't bare to see her son potentially die protecting them all.

"Please be safe, Abe." Josephine hushed as everyone looked at the city.

With anxiousness spreading through the air and the thunders kept on roaring louder. It was like in a blink of an eye, when the citizens of Ozo saw something both terrifying and wonderful. Their beloved town was then hit by maybe thousands of lightning bolts. The monsters and demons in the town tried their best to hide, however, the whole town is being devastated, so there was no where to run. Abraham is under the guild hall and was screaming because of the agonizing pain of casting the spell. And with a powerful blast of a final lightning, it decimated the whole city. Abraham was then covered wit his own lightning. He didn't notice it because of everything that is happening. However, his sword is slowly changing color. As he is now being covered by his own lightning, the sword then spoke again,

"Let's go, Master!" it said.

The blast took out the entire city, and Abraham got caught up. And—

"Ahh!" yelled a sweating Abraham as he sat up straight.

He was breathing heavily as he was sweating buckets. He looked around him, to see that he is in someplace he has never been in. In any case, he stood up from the small bed as he puts on some clothes as he was half naked. He can see bandages all over his body. He then remembered what happened. He casted a spell that destroyed the whole town of Ozo, but then as he was finishing up, a huge blast hit him. And the last thing he knew, he was here. As he finished dressing up, he then looked around, to see a sword. It looked different because of its pure black color, but it is without a doubt the sword he took from the guild hall's storage. He picked the sword up, as the connection, he felt it. It really is the sword from the dungeon. In any case, he carried the word out this little hut as he exited it. He then saw people walking around, laughing, and is engaging in conversations. At first, he thought that this is a temporary evacuation camp of Ozo. However, something feels off. He then went around this small village, until a kid suddenly bumped into him. The kid fell on his butt, as Abraham then helped him to get up,

"My goodness! Here you are again with the running around and bumping into people. Uhm, sir, please do—" the woman who was the kid's mother then stopped herself from talking as he was shocked to see Abraham and it was if she just saw a ghost.

"T-The mysterious man is awake!" she yelled as it caught everyone's attention.

The people quickly surrounded Abraham. The blonde woman and her kid then got out of the way, as an old man paved his way through the crowd. The old man was at least 4'11 in height. He slouches, and his long white beard was dangling from his chin. He was carrying a walking stick as he stopped in front of Abraham,

"Good to see you awake, mister?"

"Warlock. Abraham Warlock." Abraham said out of the nervousness.

"Right. Mister Warlock. My name is Det, and I am the elder of this small village of Rang. You might be asking on what are you doing here and—"

"Just answer this question. Where the hell am I?" Abraham asked.

Det then looked up at him,

"You are for some reason, here at the 2nd Kingdom."
