Chapter 2 INTO THE SEA, LAMOA - Part 11
Everything feels dark. Not the normal dark I’ve always felt anytime I tried closing my eyes. It’s almost comforting, almost like back in the ruins were I had been out for three days. An empty blankness, somehow. It’s not like the feeling I had when my body was taken over.

My mind just woke up from the sleep… at least I can call it that, since I couldn’t feel the world around me.

Like haze I start to feel the world around me. It’s slowly becoming clear. My body seems to be shaking, like someone is trying to wake me.

Oh yeah, that’s right, Iya—wait Iya, I don’t know what happened. Is she alright!?

Before I could have a grip on my mind my upper body shoots upright. I catch Iya taken aback, but not startled, like she was expectant. The calmness on her face almost like mine.
