Searching for Ideas

When Ernest arrived home, he was surprised by his father, who fell asleep at the doorstep of his house. He seemed to have waited a long time for Ernest's arrival. Ernest, who ran fast because he was worried about his negative thoughts, was finally able to gasp with a heart that was so incoherent.

"Huft... I was thinking negatively about my father. He was waiting for me here," said Ernest then he walked near his father who was fast asleep. He also squatted before her while thinking about what he should do at that moment.

"What should I do? Your body is so heavy, I have to find a way to take you inside," Ernest asked while thinking.

Yet, it seems that the father was aware of his presence. Lewis opened his eyes and smiled sweetly when he saw that his son had returned home.

"Ernest, you're home I'm so worried about you!" he said as he hugged Ernest.

"I just came and saw you fall asleep fast here. At first, I was going to carry you. But, you're very heavy!" Ernest teased.

"Haha, Dad's weight with you isn't far apart! I have to start dieting like tomorrow, I can't live like this," Lewis said.

"It's good to think about it, now go inside. It's late!" said Ernest.

"Oh, all right, young man! Please help me up!" he said while holding Ernest's arm so that he could stand back upright.

"Home! I'm so sleepy, I go to bed right away! Lock the door, Er! Go to sleep after that!" Lewis told Lewis while entering his room.

While Ernest closed the door, he looked at his father's room to see if the father had entered his room. He breathed a long sigh and walked toward his room. Then, he opened the money vault that was still safe and well. The sign is, the father didn't touch it at all.

"I seem to be too scared, to think if you're going to be that bad again. You've changed now," Ernest told himself.

He immediately rushed to the bathroom to get fresh. It feels so tiring tonight. There's nothing else to do but rest. He's been crushed to death by running around in the night.

— The Game of Death

The sun roared into the house with the light brown walls, where a man was devouring his breakfast while reading some newspapers about today's news.

The news that has been trending lately is the mysterious deaths of people who are in debt. He don't know why, it made Ernest feel interested. The reason is, he's in debt too. Will he also die a terrible death like them?

"Wow, this is terrible! People die because they're in debt!" Ernest immediately turned his eyes to his father who was cleaning the house.

"What news are you reading? " Lewis asked as he walked closer to her.

"Read it, it's really scary for me. What if I also die? But, it doesn't feel like I'm going to die with a lot of money now," Ernest thought guessing.

Lewis read the paper for a moment, even frowning at the paper's report, which he thought was a little strange and ambiguous. Lewis gave the paper back to Ernest.

"What's wrong with your face?" asked Ernest, confused by the father's reaction.

"I'm just weird. Why do they have to tell me such a thing? Their death could have been suicide because they were tired of making money around here to pay their debts. The media is getting weird! They seem too fabricated!" Lewis said while returning to cleaning the house.

Ernest nodded, there was a truth to the father's words. The media is too bored and has no idea how to tell this strange story. Who's going to kill someone who's in debt? Instead of being happy, they're the ones who will lose their money.

Ernest ignored the newspaper in the end. He then focused on eating his breakfast while thinking about what business he should start now.

"Dad, what business do you think we are good at, huh? That kind of money I should have bought a building and made an office, right?" Ernest said asking for advice.

His father, who was sweeping the house, was silent at the question of his son, "Hm, the father is also confused. Do we just open a restaurant? You already have skills in that field," Lewis said.

"How much does it cost to make a restaurant?" asked Ernest, interested in his father's idea.

"I don't know, but I can meet you with someone who knows about this. Do you want to meet him?" he suggested with an enthusiastic face.

Ernest looked at a building so high before him. He just got out of the cab with his dad. Lewis said his friend wanted to meet here with Ernest. Ernest agreed and arrived here now.

"Come on in, Er! I'm sure he's waiting for you!" he hugged Ernest in response to Ernest's nod. They soon entered the luxurious high-rise building. Ernest even imagined how many hundreds and millions of dollars they would spend on such a beautiful and luxurious place.

They entered and immediately boarded the elevator after asking the receptionist about where his father's friend was. When they got to the 16th floor, the elevator door opened and displayed a very aesthetically pleasing cafeteria in this room. Ernest alone was astonished by the interior design of this room which was so pleasing to the eye and made someone who had just come along would be immediately comfortable.

"Wow This place is so neat and beautiful, Dad! But where is your friend, Dad?" Ernest asked while looking for his father's friend.

"Looks like it's him! Let's go there!" said the father then pulled Ernest's arm to walk closer to someone who was sitting in the chair at the very end close to the glass that directly displayed the atmosphere of the city from up there.

Ernest followed in his father's footsteps to meet someone his father had appointed as his friend.
