Chapter 12: Bringing Back A Stranger

"No way! How can you bring a total stranger here?" Natalie was the first to oppose Ana's request. Just as she stared angrily at Ana, she spaced no effort in heightening that glare when she faced the person laying on the ground. The dirt on the person's face made it difficult to see what the person looked like, not like she cared anyway. Ugly, handsome, beautiful, she cared less. Her major concern was her safety.

Who knows if it is a monster pretending to be dead or 'fainted' as Ana said? I have to get to the bottom of this. She repeated what Elias had always said before, it was better safe permanently than just temporarily.

Ana was helpless as she passed Elias a pleading look. "Help me out here." She muttered and it was then Elias stood up. He briskly walked over to where the person was and raised a brow. "A boy?"

"Yeah," she shrugged. "He's still alive. Don't know how he managed to escape the monsters but he made it this far, meaning he is desperate to live."
