AFTERMATH OF RICKY AND LILY

"What is going on there?" Trevor mumbled to himself.

"All humans are preserved as they appear at the moment of their deaths," Lucifer’s consciousness responded from inside him.

"Can you tell me why it is necessary to do that?"

"Because that’s their punishment, the human will experience the moment they died for the rest of eternity that way," Lucifer answered.

"Why must they relive the moment for eternity?" Trevor asked with his eyes wide open.

"I didn’t create that rule; the devil king before me passed the knowledge down to me, and there is nothing we can do about it," Lucifer answered softly.
