The light of the moon shines in the black night, through the leaves of oaks and pines. The sounds of running of a couple with an offspring. Being chased by an unknown evildoer who slowly approaches their tail.

The name of the Lady in a dress who is pale and hardly takes a breath from running, Maeve. She screamed to her husband who is in her rear, "Maynen! Hurry, 'his' coming for us!"

Maynen, behind her with a rifle, responds, "There's a boat by the shore get in there quick!" With both rushed, a shot rang behind but luckily passes through. Maeve screamed high-pitched for an only a second and still continues running with the infant.

Running off until making out from the thick forest, the run still continues. With the moon shining on the horizon. Running uphill, overseeing the landscape the river can be seen of through the distance not too far, another shot rang from the forest.

Maynen looks back to see the person who wore a green cloak, carrying a rifle, and continues to walk after them. Maynen warned once more to Maeve, "Dear, he's right behind us, we're almost there!" Another shot rang from behind, almost hitting Maynen which hits the dirt a few feet away from his foot. Maynen looks around and aims his rifle at the person, the shots. Only seeing the person manage to dodge the shot, he reacts, "Ein Teufil!" which is pronounced 'A Devil'.

Maeve managed to get more ahead because of the downhill momentum. She looks back to know if ever Maynen was behind, she saw nothing. She continued running to the boat. The wind blew rough from Maeve's back, suddenly she spoke to the wind alone, "Erveya! Zepha selnon!" which is translates 'Air the zephyr has gone'.

Maeve arrives first to the boat, putting her son on the boat. Unexpectedly,  another cloaked person went from her back and tackled her with a choke. Maeve reacted and hits the person stomach by striking her elbow to it. The person let go and Maeve had an opportunity, and so she began to pose with her hands in a gesture and shouts to him, "Burn down you ruffian!" A magic ring appeared in front of her gesture and made a fire burning the person shown.

Maynen managed to catch up and concerned, he asked, "Are you okay?—" Maeve responds with a nod, Maynen continues, "—There is no time, you go on ahead you got it, you have to get him out of here—" Only to be interrupted by the person that chased them, the person slips in, "What a wonderful family we have here—"

Maynen cuts him off while aiming his gun at the person, he named "—Vaneron you cheeky bastard... Maeve go! I'll handle this," Maeve declined, but Maynen forced her to go, soon only she accepts.

Maynen proceeds to shoot Vaneron, but Vaneron dodged it again, as he dodged by leaning to the left, the shadows made him disappear. Maeve, who was already far enough from the shore because of the heavy rapids that pushed her boat off. Maeve looked over to watch what was going on with Maynen back from the dock. Only to see a fight off between Vaneron and Maynen.

Vaneron who ran out of bullets to his rifle, as well as Maynen, decides to duel. Vaneron wielded out his saber, while Maynen wielded out his long dagger to prepare a duel. From Maeve seeing the clanging of the blade, the sparks, even the grunts of the people.

A cloud of black smoke covered them both, Maeve tries to see what was happening, so she decides to raise her hand and spin it around and the wind gathered to her tip as she twirls, she points to the black smoke. As the smoke is blown off, she sees Maynen watching her off from a distance, battered. Until a blade stabbed through Maynen, Maeve gasped loudly. The blade was pulled out by Vaneron and made Maynen tumble down. Maeve heavily tore.

More cloaked people gathered to Vaneron, while Maeve gets pushed by the rapids, which she did not expect to see a rough and possibly a waterfall. She decides to face the rapids to protect her son. She looks back once more to Vaneron and the other cloaked people disappear from the cloud of black smoke. She reacts, "I'm sorry dear, The Gastonian warrior shall pay one day—" Suddenly an arrow hits her from the back.

She pulled the arrow out to see it was poisoned... She looks around to see Vaneron from the rock canyon behind her, she clicks her tongue and faced off the rapids once again. Vaneron and the cloaked people decide to live with her because he thinks that Maeve will die from poison and the baby will not make it.

When the rapids became more severe and were impossible to maneuver. There it was where she expected, a waterfall which was up ahead. Maeve hugs her baby and placed the baby in a basket nest. As the boat near the falls, she says, "Don't worry, dear, we'll make it okay?" The baby cried out loud, which echoed the whole area. Maeve continues while crying, "Shh, we'll make it, just a little more." Until the boat falls down to the waterfall.

Meanwhile, somewhere from a far away, a group of hunters off chilling on the side of the river, one of them was fishing. Vibing on the midnight of the shining bright moon with their fire keeps them warm and to have a light source. One of them started talking, and entails the name of their friend, "Well Josh, isn't this the wonderful night... I mean we've hunted barely today," Josh replied and along entails the name, "Well yeah I know Ger, the deer all over the place just weirdly vanished... Though Mike, how many did you catch," He asked his friend who was fishing. Mike replied, "Well I caught three catfish for us to feed off the night—" Until Mike notices some disturbance on the water, "—Whoa weird, guys look like the river might rise, the waves just came in," Ger looks over and affirmed, "Oh yeah, the moon is out today I forgot," Suddenly Josh sees something off ahead of them, he reacts, "Guys... You better grab your weapons, look over there," The two look over and see a glowing orb on top of a boat. The three rushed and grabbed their rifles and proceeded to approach the boat as it hits the shore.

Slowly but surely, the three approached the boat while three of them splits, one from the front while the two on each side. Josh gives a halting signal to both and gestured them that he's going first, the two affirms while they aim to the orb. As Josh goes in slowly to see and draws... Sees nothing peculiar. He looks close to what's inside as he wipes the moist dirt off the orb, he did not expect it to be see-through. He looks inside and only sees a girl who is all soaked, it was Maeve. Josh reacts, "Holy-Knight! It's a girl in there!" The two repeat, "A girl?!"

And so, the three wipes off everything from the glass orb and sees her clearer. Ger created, "Whoa, have you seen anything like it—" Mike slips in and says, "Hey hold it, she's bleeding," Josh connected, "And it is fresh too," Josh decides to tap the orb with his gun, only making it pop like a bubble. The three reacted and draws their weapon to her. Maeve looked like she was frozen in time inside the bubble orb, little did they know that she cast a spell to protect her and the baby, since the baby hollered out a cry, she coughed tremendously, all soaked and shivers due to the cold. Josh decides, "Guys hold your fire, it's not a verdian it's a Hovelanian, and there's a baby in there."

Mike suggests, "Wait, Josh, what if it's a trap?" Ger apprehends, "No, that's a mother Mike, help her out man," Josh approaches her as he dropped his rifle, Josh consoled, "Hey are you okay?" Maeve responds out of the context of Josh's question, "Keep him safe... Please..."

Josh asked if she meant the infant, "The baby?" Maeve nodded and continues, "Keep him safe, I'm not going to make it..." Josh orders Ger, "Ger! Go get her some bandages and some towel—" Maeve apprehended him and says, "No! Keep him safe, I am poisoned," She slowly reaches and carried the baby and gives it to Josh, Josh reacts, "Wait, miss, I can't—" Maeve puts her necklace to the infant and entails to Josh, "Dear verdian, This baby must be named James 'Alcemia' Walter, and keeps this book with you and the necklace—" Josh carrying the baby felt a heavy burden, Maeve drops her tears while "James be strong okay? We'll be watching up above..." Josh reacts while Ger and Mike are almost there, "Miss please, they're almost here—" Maeve spoke to him her last words, "Keep... Him... Safe..."

As Ger and Mike arrived, Josh stood up with the baby while watching over the dead body of Maeve, paled out for the unexpected. Josh entails to the baby which will be named, "I'm sorry miss... This kid will be the name of your request, James... James 'Alcemia' Walter." Ger reacts, "Josh, is everything okay?" Josh responds,

"Boys, meet James... James 'Alcemia' Walter."
