CHAPTER 91

I screamed as I continued to fall.

Eventually, my back hit something solid.

I healed quickly and got up.

It was pitch black in here and the ground felt metallic.

"Lights?"

The light came on immediately, thanks to the screen.

I was speechless at the sight before me.

It felt like I had been transported to a superhero comic; the type with cool science gadgets and a secret base.

The metal ground made light noises as my feet collided with it.

I walked through the not-so-vast room.

There were two computers on each side of the room and two desks meant for two people.

Stacks of folders were lined up on each side of the computers.

Up ahead, there was a bed, a stove, and a small refrigerator.

I looked behind me and saw curtains.

I walked briskly to the other end of the room and pushed aside the curtain only to reveal a laboratory.

It wasn't so small but it wasn't so large too.

It was the perfect size for mild experiments on not more than two people.
