Hypnotic City

Erland was a little surprised when the sound was like next to the ear. In a hurry, Erland changed his facial expression and looked at Laura Jessanny who was already in front of his eyes. How could this elf enter the veil of magic created by a devil like Erland? That's what Erland was thinking.

"Sir, is this my dinner today?" Gail asked, almost drooling at Laura.

Erland did not answer, only glanced at it. "What are you doing outside the veil of magic, elf?"

Laura looked at Erland seriously, then smiled. "Master himself? What are you doing outside the veil? Isn't that very dangerous?"

Gail was stunned to hear that Laura could speak so calmly. Even though there is a demon on Erland's side. Gail stabs Erland's hand, but it's as if a glass barrier is blocking him from this demon. Clearly, Gail's growing clueless.

"Sir, what's going on? Why can't I touch you, sir? And why can't this sweet fairy see me?" asked Gail trying to get closer, but couldn't.

"Sir, I ask what are you doing?" asked Laura closer to Gail who already looked hungry.

Erland's rush keeps Laura away from Gail. "Nothing. Let's go back into the veil of magic."

"Master! Get me out of here! Let me eat the energy of one of your comrades, Master!" begged Gail, but Erland did not let go.

Erland glanced at Laura who was walking side by side. "How do you get out of the enchanted veil, elf?"

She turned her head. "I don't know. I just walked, without realizing I was outside the veil of magic. Ah and one more thing, my name is Laura, not just a fairy."

Erland grinned. "I don't want to bother memorizing people's names."

"Even so, how do you address the person you wish to summon, Master?"

Erland glanced. "I never do that."

Laura chuckled in awe, but her body bounced slightly when she wanted to enter the magic veil. Erland glanced at Laura who said she came out subconsciously, but once she returned to the magic veil, she couldn't do it. Erland sighed.

"Why are you so troublesome," he complained, coming closer and hugging Laura's waist.

Laura flinched in surprise, but then immediately hugged Erland's wide chest. At this time Erland parted a bit of the magic veil from above, then in one hit, Erland jumped and made it into the magic veil. Then Erland closed the veil of magic again.

But, Erland glanced annoyed at Laura who took the opportunity to give him a tight hug. Erland tried to push, but to no avail. Then Erland forcibly let go of Laura's hand that was hugging him.

"Ah, it's arrived already huh?" Laura asked as if deliberately playing dumb.

"Go downstairs," Erland ordered in a cold tone.

Yes, because right now Erland and Laura were up in the tree. Daran's place was already sleeping soundly. Laura looked at the ground below, which was very far away. Laura was silent for a moment, then glanced at Erland.

"Master, I'm really scared. Please don't let me get away from you," Laura whined, hugging Erland again.

Erland had tried to contain his anger as best he could. However, everything failed because it was Laura who hugged her so tightly. Even a hand accidentally touched Erland's stomach. Annoyed, Erland pushed Laura roughly so that the elf fell from a tree and hit the ground.

All fairies, wizards and dragons were originally asleep. Immediately woke up in a hurry and panic when he heard the sound of falling objects and screams of pain. However, their vigilance dropped slightly when they saw who had fallen and Erland was glaring at Laura.

"Arthur, please educate that naughty elf well," Erland ordered with a look of hatred.

Arthur helped Laura get up. Laura groaned in pain at Arthur who could only sigh. However, Erland's words apparently made everyone gossip, that Laura in the middle of the night tried to climb a tree to seduce Erland.

They all went on a second trip. Namely the city of Noach, formerly a place that was often used as a resting place for people who immigrated from city to city. Many inns stand on the grounds of the city of Noach. However... now it's different.

"Noach City is turning into a city of trees. Where every tree is possessed by a demon spirit, Master better ignore them." That's what Erland heard from Gail in another dimension.

Erland didn't answer, making Gail sigh. Meanwhile, the king's envoy immediately stopped walking. They were stunned by a parched dry tree and increased height. However, the shock brought them to the demon spirit's whisper.

"What are they doing? It's like they've been hypnotized," Erland whispered to Gail in another dimension.

Gail sighed. "It seems they heard--"

"Why? Why did I have to bear your child! Why didn't you let me kill him! Why, Casey!"

Instantly heard Erland became more sensitive. Gail's voice did not reach him at all. Only a woman's voice, a voice that is smooth even though it screams and cries roars. Is this... Juliana? The mother of Erland who regretted defending the child of a demon king.

"Only my own descendants can kill me. I am willing to be born in this mortal world, to kill me, Juliana."

Erland grinned at the sound of a man's voice as well, it was confirmed to be the voice of his own father, the demon king, Casey. Erland's head looked up. The sky, which was originally blue, suddenly became pitch black accompanied by clouds clumping and ready to swallow them all alive.

"You think a lowly illusion like this could catch me off guard?" Erland quipped.

"Master, run quickly! It's Rory!" Gail shouted and Erland could hear the lowly demon's voice again.

Erland grinned. "Ah Rory huh? The demonic power that can manipulate opponents to be trapped in an illusion, see and hear the people most loved come to life. Rory, what a regret."

"Master run!" Gail warned him.

Erland looked at his hands. Strange symbols started to form, Erland smirked looking at the black clouds in the slightly hazy sky. Obviously they recognized this symbol, yet Erland was ready to touch the ground to absorb all of the devil's power. His hands were suddenly clasped and Erland's body was shaken violently.

"Master Erland? Master are you okay?"

Erland stared in surprise. Laura was in front of his eyes and everyone was looking at him confused. While Daran seemed to have difficulty breathing and Arthur tried to calm him down.

"What happened?" whispered Erland.

Gail in the other dimension sighed. "Didn't I tell Master again? Rory in Noach town will only trap the devils, because their souls will be embedded in a tree in Noach."

Gail mentions that only demons will be hypnotized and confused in Noach's town. Erland's eyes immediately stared at Daran who still couldn't breathe properly. Erland stared very intently, apparently he had found something interesting.
