TREVOR'S POV

I fell in love with a liar, and my heart paid the price.

But how would I have known I was about to make a mistake? My family and business world being in shambles was one big distraction that prevented me from noticing the glaring red flags.

INVESTOR CHARLES' DINNER PARTY

The dining room was glamorous, the luxuries shining brighter than the bulbs. There were over fifty people in the room, each of them reputable businessmen who had come around with their dates and partners.

My father should be the one here, but after receiving his message through his assistant, I thought it would make sense to show up for him, after all, I was the heir to his throne.

Mark approaches me holding a glass of wine. "Young Master, what do you think of the hospitality here?"

"When will you learn to call me by my name? You are no stranger." I confronted him.

Smiling, he placed his wine on the table. "I have dedicated my life to being your backbone. Nothing is changing that."

I took my attention off what he was saying as I was then buried deeply in my thoughts, when my eyes caught a slender and extremely beautiful figure coming towards me. I raised my brows as she catwalked towards me and Mark in her mini sky blue gown. "It's a pleasure to meet you, Young Master Trevor Billions. If you don't mind, can I join you?" she asked, her long lashes doing their magic.

I turned to look at Mark, who seemed excited for me and adjusted, giving her the chance to join us. Seeing this, I was surprised. "May I know you and how you got here?" My eyes were lighting up in excitement.

"I came along with a friend. She is having fun on the other side of the room. So tell me, what have you come here to do? I heard that Young Master Trevor Billions hates parties like this," she said, her body movement inviting me.

Gosh, this girl is so beautiful. For some reason, I felt enchanted. "Let's forget about why or how I got here. I am interested in you." I couldn't wait anymore.

"Umm, you mean one-night stand?" she asked.

"No, no, um, I want more. Can you be my girlfriend? I don't know why, but I feel like I would be making the biggest mistake of my life if I let you walk away tonight." I confessed to her.

Mark cleared his throat. "I will be back, master." he then got up and left.

I didn't reply to him as my whole focus was on this damsel.

"By the way, I am Ellen. Nice to meet you!" she introduced herself and sipped her wine.

"Call me Trevor!" I replied to her. She offered her hand and I received it, blessing the back of her palm with a kiss.

"Hello, Young Master Trevor Billions! It's an honor to have you represent your father at my dinner party. Thank you for showing up. I hope you are being taken care of and are not pissed by anything." Investor Charles made an appearance at where I was seated to greet me.

"I'm all good! I love the ambiance." I responded rather reluctantly cause I was feeling disturbed.

He smiled, feeling delighted. "I'm happy you are satisfied. Please let me know if you need anything, and welcome once again," he stretched his palm for a handshake, and after that, he walked to the other tables.

"Hmmmm, I see just how well respected the Billions are. Quite impressive!" Ellen exclaimed.

I nodded my head in acknowledgment and then had a waiter appear, serving her some chicken. "Won't you eat with me?" she asked.

I bit my lower lip. "I would rather eat you."

Hearing that, she gave a soft laugh. "Well, I don't mind." My heart softened at that moment, and right there I was willing to dote on her forever. "We can leave now," she suggested. She was probably feeling the same way I was feeling. I held her hand and within two minutes, we were out of the dining room and in our real worlds.

I had to leave Mark to enjoy himself, knowing what he was capable of doing right after this dinner. I didn't drive to my house but went straight to the Kings Hotel and settled down there.

Inside the luxurious suite, I placed down my phone and cards as we then got to business. This feeling was weird because we just met, but it was just too emotional and sensual to ignore. Pulling out every fabric she had on, we dove onto the large bed and soaked ourselves in the wave of passion.

The next morning, I woke up feeling more energetic than ever. I turned to the other side of the bed and noticed Ellen. She was still in deep sleep with her pretty face looking pale. She was definitely exhausted due to last night's activities. I sat up, and my eyes were drawn to several marks on her skin. From her neck down to her waist.

Shit!

I had blessed her white skin with hickeys that were very obvious to spot.

I searched for my phone and when I found it on the table, I phoned Mark, instructing him on some things. After that, I walked into the bathroom to freshen up. She soon joined me and we had our bath together without us feeling any atom of shame.

I heard the doorbell ring and knew it was Mark, so I went to get the things he had come with.

"Wow! I love this gown." Ellen exclaimed. I said nothing and placed the bag of food on the table, opening it.

"Here is hot tea. Drink it for strength." I handed it to her and then set up a table for breakfast. When I turned, I caught her staring at me. "What's wrong?" I asked curiously.

"You have been taking care of me for so long already. I expected you to chase me out this morning," she told me, her eyes misty.

"Well, that's because I'm not here to joke with you. I want more!" I then went closer to her and grabbed her, bringing her closer to my chest.

Her eyes darted around. "More of what?"

"More of you,, Ellen! I haven't been this attracted to anyone my whole life. You are like my soulmate that has been missing for like ever. But now that I have found you, it would be stupid to let you slip off. Ellen, I want to be responsible for you. Will you marry me?" I proposed.

"Uh! What? Trevor Billions? Marry me?" she looked shocked to hear that from me. That got me nervous as I thought she was going to think of me as a player and reject me, after all, we just had sex overnight as strangers. She went silent for a while, and when I thought she would never respond, she turned and hugged me. "Yes!!! I will marry you. I love you!" she agreed.

Great! I was so excited. I could already imagine my Father's excitement hearing this news.

Suddenly, my phone rang. It was Mark who just left the hotel. "What is it?"

"Master, you are needed in the company," his voice came through, sounding very urgent.
