CHAPTER 80

Charles didn't wait a second longer to give her a breathing space as he began to spin as he came forward; rolling his sword speedily; he was moving too fast for her to counter and now, she could only try to block and dodge while being forced to move back.

His sword grazed her once and then he stops spinning before delivering a heavy hit; but she blocks with her sword; and the strength of the former pushed her back as she fell on her knees; her sword already broken in two.

She gasped in shock and fear; a dagger from Charles hits her right shoulder and she grunts in pain; seeing Charles coming at her with the aim of landing the final blow to end her.

Jessica had pointed a gun at Charles and she pulled the trigger, but his reflexes kicked in as he twists his body and blocked the bullet with his sword.

He moved away and grins as he stared intently at his sister.
