Act In Caution

Another one has fallen. I've overthrown a dozen demon apes and advanced several levels. Despite having defeated quite a number of demon apes, in fact my level increase was not as much as the demon apes I defeated.

The higher the level, the greater the intake for me to advance to a higher level.

“The edge of the Valley of Skeletons is still not visible…” I say after descending from a tall tree branch to look around the area.

The girl feels sorry for asking things she didn't need to ask, because she clearly knew that my name is Kennomaru Hiro. Now, she is afraid of what I would do next. “D-don't come any closer!!!” she cries timidly, she closes her eyes in frightened.

I stare at her blankly, I don't know how I should react to a girl like that. Plus, I just realize that I was walking towards the girl. I stopped walking before asking her the same thing again.

“Everyone who looks at the broadcast screen will definitely recognize you…” the girl replies in a stuttering voice.

I cringe after hearing the novelty, because so far I have never once seen anything like a screen or anything other than the one in front of him. “Broadcasting screen? What's that?" I ask in surprise.

I glance in the direction the girl is pointing for a moment, then I look back at her. "Okay, I'll check. Then, see you later..." I say waving before leaving.

The girl looks like she wants to stop me from leaving, but she doesn't feel like she has the right to. What's more, she knows I have sufficient ability to protect myself. Or, rather, she is the one who felt safe around me. It makes her feel reluctant to separate, afraid that later she would meet again with perverted men like the two men before.
