CHAPTER THREE

“This isn’t fair, am sure I got it right” daxon talks to himself in pain while still standing in front of the bulletin board,

‘How?, he just got here so how are hes grades better than mine’

“Hmmm" he said with a smirk on his face

‘Theres only one way this could have happened’

“Because they have it all they think they can inconvenience others who had worked so hard for this....” daxon said to himself with disgust on his face

BEEP

He gets a text message, then he reaches into his right pocket pulling out his phone. He finds out that the message was from his friend saying he was already waiting for him in the classroom as classes were about to start.

He takes one more look at the board as he turns around and heads towards his classroom

Daxon chambers was someone who never jokes with education, few years ago both his parents were killed and left him and his sister to fend for their self, life has been tough for the both of them as he was struggling financially, he had 2 part-time jobs and still had to study for college, all his hardwork was just tossed aside because of money and influence, and this was dearly important to him, he was about a year older than almiron as the negative mindset he had for him grew even more and more, he’s junior sister on the other hand was unfortunately sick, she was diagnosed with long cancer a few years back and he has been taking care of her since.

Eventually all the classes were over and everyone left to their homes.

“I noticed you weren’t paying much attention in the class.” Zayn says as they both walk to his car.

“Yeah I’ve been seeing somethings but it’s all in my head.” He says

“Like what.”

“Its nothing important.” He says as they both stop at zayns car

Zayn brings out his car key while replying almiron.

“Hmmmm, you sure?.”

“yeah.” He says while looking around.

Almiron was about to leave when he had second thoughts as he remembered the incident he saw in the train and decides not to use public transport.

“You mind dropping me off.”

“Alright, hop in.”

Almiron enters the car and as they drive off zayn sights daxon walking home but pays no attention to it

“Yeah am on my way back, I’ll see what I can get.” He says as he cuts the call and stops walking for a while.

The thought of the fact that their reserves are already depleting fast got to him building up more negativity in his soul, his junior sister was the only one he had left in this world so he tries to make her life comfortable while also saving up for her surgery. He decides to get an extra job and skip college for some few days as he pulls himself together

‘Everything will be ok.’ He thought to himself as he continued walking home

But while walking home a voice spoke to him in his head

‘Everything will not be ok' the screeching voice said

He stops and looks around to see who said that but no one was there, he decides to disregard the voice he heard and continue walking then the voice spoke to him again

‘I can take all your troubles away.’ The voice said to him again.

Daxon looks around with fear as he tries to figure out where this strange voice is coming from.

Argun; an ancient shadow demon who was spiritually locked to the chambers family by Daxon’s ancestors

Over a century ago daxon great grandmother was involved in witchcraft and she summoned the the argun, ever since then the demon has been appearing and manipulating the chambers family. The demon appeared and took advantage of daxon grandfather which was the cause of his parents death. And now with so much negativity, pain and anger in daxons life the demon now has he’s eyes set on daxon chambers.

‘I can take all your pain away..’ the demon says to daxon while his still very much confused.

“W-who are you?, and what do you want from me?.”

‘I know your sister is sick and you will do anything for her to get better.’

“My sister...... I think am getting sick, hearing this voice in my head.”

‘You are very much fine and I am very much real, but you know who’s not well? Your sister.’

Daxon’s face darkened as he heard that.

‘I can help you take it all away, I can heal your sister.’

He continued walking as he said

“All in my head.”

Then while walking he noticed the shadow of a street light come at him then forming the words ‘I AM REAL' on the floor, and with fear he turns around running like someone was after him before the demon spoke to him again

‘Dont you want her to get better.’

Those words stopped him right in his tracks as he thinks about it

He falls on his knees and says

“I do.”

‘I will heal your sister but with a price’s

“W-What price.”

‘YOUR SOUL!.’ The demon says

With his eyes widened with fear he says

“My soul?.”

‘Yess hahaha.’ Says the demon while laughing

“jasmine” he says to himself with tears in his eyes then without thinking twice he replies

“I’ll do it.”

‘Huhh.....’ the demon answered with surprise.

He knew daxon weak point was his sister but he thought he would be a lot harder to convince.

“I said I’ll do it, just fix her, fix my sister.”

‘Make a contract with me.’

“How do I do that?”

Suddenly a shadow appears in front of daxon forming a circle with three dots in it.

‘All you need to do is to just drop your blood in the circle and the contract is set.’

“And she would be alright?.”

‘And she will be alright’ the demon replied

Still surprised while kneeling in front of the shadow circle daxon bites his big tomb as the look of pain appears on his face as his tomb starts bleeding he quickly directs his hand towards the circle as his blood drips in it.

The shadow disappears along with his drops of blood

“Is that it? What else do I have to do?.”

He says but got no reply

“Hello?”

Still he got no reply, then he gets up from his knees and rushes home.

Meanwhile zayn and almiron are stuck in traffic.

“Soo... the guy back at the eatery do you know him?.” Zayn asked almiron

As he got no reply he looked towards his direction only to find him fast asleep as his head laid on the window steel.

“Asleep.” He says to himself while looking away.

As almiron is fast asleep he has another nightmare, in this nightmare from his point of view (POV) he was at the back seat of a car as his parents drove him to school while arguing.

“I knew they were a scam and I told you but no.. you wouldn’t listen to me because all you care about is making money.” Bella rakenji says as she scolds Jacob rakenji

“You dont tell me what to do and what not to do with my money woman.”

“You were blinded Jacob, they were stealing money right under your nose and you didn’t even notice”

“That's enough, you mind the way you talk to me.” Jacob says to bella as he briefly turns his attention towards her

“JACOB!!” bella shouts out as she points towards the dead corpse laying on the road

Quickly turning his attention back to the road he tries to dodge the body on the road but while doing so he loses control of the steering wheel as he turns and crashes into a nearby boutique store.

SMASH!!!

The accident was very fatal as the wind shield broke and shattered glasses were all over bella's face, luckily nothing to serious happened to almiron and his dad.

“Al..” a faint voice called out to almiron

“Yo al!.” Zayn says as he wakes almiron up

Almiron sits up straight and looked out the window noticing that they were already in front of his gate.

“Thanks for the ride man.” He says while exiting the car

“Its all good, see ya tomorrow.”

He closed the door and watched zayn as he drove off for a while then he turned around and went in.

Over at daxon place, he gets home panting like he was being chased by someone, he opens the door hoping that the demon kept to his side of the bargain and healed his junior sister.

“Jasmine.” He walks up to her as she laid there on the couch.

The lung cancer was already in an advanced stage as she was already looking pale and skinny

“How are you feeling? Do you feel different.” Daxon asked jasmine as he takes a sit next to her.

“No not at all.” She says while getting her tissue and coughing, she stops and there was blood on the tissue, then she tosses it in a trash bin next to her.

“did you get the cake?.” She says while putting a smile on her face.

“The cake? Yeah the cake, it slipped my mind but have no fear daxon is here.” He says joking as they both laugh together.

“Dont worry I’ll go get them now.”

He touch her on the leg and gets up to leave.

He leaves his house asking himself if the demon kept to his own side of the bargain

‘did he lie about this?.’ He kept asking himself.

Unknowingly to daxon the demon had other plans.

Meanwhile almiron lays down on his bed as he checks his phone and sees no notifications.

He takes one more glance at his mom burial date on the calendar before falling asleep.

Ring!!!!

Almiron alarm clock wakes him up this time, and then without wasting time he jumps in the shower as he prepares for college.

In no time he is done and ready then on his way out he looks towards hes fathers office wanting to go and greet him but he changed his mind and headed for the front door. On his way out he sees his driver standing at the car again

“A good morning to you sir.”

“Good morning, I’ll be driving myself today.?” He says while getting the keys from him.

Once again he thought of the train station incident and how it has scared him giving him a new phobia for trains so he decides to drive himself.

“O-Ok sir.” He hands over the keys to his young master as almiron enters the car and drives off.

‘hmmm, guess like am all good today.’ He thought to himself while driving

With no traffic on the road he gets to his school in no time but while he parks his car he sees someone unexpected.

He turns off his engine and then just as he was about to leave he scents something disgusting in his car, a familiar odour that was unpleasant.

“No please no.” He says in fear as he recognizes the smell

He looks at his rearview mirror and sees the dead corpse of james bradwich sitting at the back seat. In fear almiron jumps out of his car slamming the door shut.

Then he looks at the back seat again and theres no one there

“This.. this cant be happening again, I need to see a priest.” Almiron says to himself while walking away from his car in horror.
