Chapter 10

As Lauthel stood in the midst of the plate, in the dark and blank space. He sighed and frightened. He looked around, again and again, he began to see images of a life that wasn't his. He saw a man and a woman, welcomed a baby and he saw various images of the baby growing, when he was very young and became a kid, to learning how to fight, learning magic, learning how to turn into a human, just to distract the humans when they came for war. Obviously not from his own earth. Only astronaut travel from his earth, but the humans who came for war was not even wearing suites. He looked persistently on the image of the other Lauthel turning into a human. He learnt it and the image kept reoccurring, he tried it and retried it, until he finally got it. The other Lauthel (his duplicate) fought wars and as Lauthel saw how strong he was, and how he watched over the unvarying earth. Lauthel watch the other Lauthel (his duplicate) grow and how he was in love with the doctor, how he left Kyar for the doctor too. He learnt almost all his (his duplicate) life in a couple of minutes.

The darkness went from him and he stepped out of the midst of the plate as a human in place of the beast form. He came down and he looked around firmly.

"Welcome back" Mikorth greeted Lauthel, as he stepped towards his chair, which he sat on before.

"Ohh" Lauthel moaned as he sat on the chair. "I saw someone, that looks... Like me."

"No, that was you. It was just a mirage there." Mikorth smiled at Lauthel as he said that. "And sorry to tell you. You are to stay here for life, you cannot go back there. I mean where you came from." Mikorth said, with a sorry face.

"What?" Lauthel exclaimed.

"Yes. you can't, and i have known about it, the moment you came in to this world. This isn't another country, just like you've said earlier. This is entirely another world, that is very far from yours, and in another universe."

"God... I... I don't..." Lauthel stuttered. "I don't even like it here. Please... There must be a way to get out of here." Lauthel stood up angrily and sorrowfully.

"We're sorry. There's just, nothing we can do for you in this situation." Mikorth said, softly.

"Why would the doctor do this to me...? I have a family. I have people that needs me. They would probably be waiting for me to come back to them. And I also need them. They complete me, don't you get it?" He bawled. He wobbled back in confusion and dropped into the chair he stood up from. He rubbed his hand on the arm of the chair and tears streamed down his cheeks.

"This is fate. It has been like that since the day our own Lauthel was birthed into this world." Mikorth said.

"Yes" Korth-ral seconded. "When our Lauthel came into this world, there was a Prophecy, just like it should be. We all come to this world with a scroll. The sroll say a bit about how our life will be, then the priests will have to transcribe the sayings of the scroll, and let it be known to the elders and parents of the child." Korth-ral concluded.

"What..." Lauthel scarlet eyeballs watered his cheeks with trickling tears. He wiped his face of with his palms and exhaled loudly. He turned his head around and retained his speech. He stood up and walked towards the door, he turned around and looked at Mikorth with Korth-ral. "You both should look for a way to get me back. Please!" He concluded with a tear dripping down his left cheek. He opened the door and went into the midst of the mist, which parted way for him to the front door. He got out and flinched when he saw Korth-ral, standing.

"You should have used the other door." Korth-ral said softly.

"Thank you. Have you find me a way to get out of your world?" Lauthel questioned soberly.

"No"

"Okay"

"But..." Korth-ral said as he drew Lauthel back, as Lauthel walked out on him. "You should wait a bit, it seems Mikorth said, you can travel there, through some portal which was destroyed a long time ago. But if he gets it to be rebuilt, you can go through it."

"Thank..." Lauthel couldn't hold back his emotions as he hugged Korth-ral tight. "Thank you grandfather. Thank you so much."

"You're welcome son." Korth-ral said happily as he smiled behind Lauthel. They left themselves after few seconds. "Let's go home son. You have to see somethings too." They smiled at each other as they went on, walking down the stairs.

After very few minutes, in the tyreless car. They got to a place.

"I remember this place, from the mirage. It contains some royal people, where Lauthel, I mean my second, come to take orders over his league of army."

"Yes." Korth-ral said as they walk. "You should just act like him, bow slightly and answer the king's questions just like you answer mine."

"Okay I will. But wait..." Lauthel stopped Korth-ral as they walked up the stairs. "I possess magic too. Just like others right?" He raised his two eyebrows and widened his eyes a bit.

"Yes you do. Even more than most people."

"Okay thanks, and please how do I use it? Because I saw the second Lauthel used it."

"And do you remember him using it?" Korth-ral said, moved closer o Lauthel and placed his hand on Lauthel's shoulder.

"Yes I do." Lauthel nodded positively.

"Then only you can teach you. Yu just have to tap into the vision and learn from yourself."

"Thank you." Lauthel smiled again at Korth-ral.

"Hmm" Korth-ral smiled and they walked up the stairs, they got to the entrance and the soldiers tht were guarding the entrance all saluted Lauthel. Korth-ral got to the entrance and the door opened for them. They went in and met Kyar, the doctor and Reylei there, standing before the monarch. They turned their head backwards as Lauthel and Korth-ral came through the door.

"Wow! Talk of the demon. Welcome back home general." The monarch greeted happily and walked down the stairs that was beneath the throne to meet Lauthel. He grabbed him happily and they walked him and others to the royal feast, held for him among other generals in the army, who were also very happy to see Lauthel come back.
