"Can you drive, Mr. Doctor?" Amber asked as they took steps away from the hospital.

"I can, Miss Amber. Leave it to me," Caleb replied immediately.

"Thank you, Mr. Doctor."

At this point, they were in the car and Caleb asked, "Where are we going, Miss Amber?"

"To the Clifton Family Auction House," Amber replied.

"As you wish, Miss Amber," Caleb said as he drove off.

There was silence during the journey, making Amber wonder, did this man not want to talk to her?

There were so many men who wanted to talk to her, but she rejected all of them. Then, this man, when he got the chance to do so, he didn't do it?

This naturally made Amber's attraction to Caleb grow bigger and bigger. What an interesting man. He ignored a beautiful woman like me!

In the end, it was Amber who decided to start the conversation by asking, "By the way, may I know your name, Mr. Doctor? Calling you Mr. Doctor all the time sounds weird. It would be better if I knew your name and called you by that."

Caleb immediately replied, "My name is Caleb Martin. You can call me Caleb, Miss Amber."

The Martin Family? Amber frowned. It was because this was the first time she had heard of this family name.

This family was not among the hundred most famous families in Fluxville City. Was the Martin Family not actually from Fluxville City? Were they a wealthy family from a city far away from here?

Of course, to make their son as good and great as Caleb, they must be a wealthy and influential family.

However, why had she never heard of them before? They were too unfamiliar to her ears.

While Amber was wondering in her mind, they had already arrived at the Clifton Family Auction House.

Amber showed her black invitation card to the security guards, indicating that she was one of the main and honored guests.

Seeing that, all the security guards immediately showed great respect, inviting her car to enter while bowing.

At this point, the two took long strides towards the entrance, but a man's voice stopped them in their tracks.

"You?! What are you doing here, You Bastard?!"

Hearing that, Caleb and Amber turned their gazes towards the source of the voice, and found a handsome man in an expensive suit, beside him was a beautiful woman wearing a black dress. The two were none other than Ethan and Ava.

"Excuse me? Are you talking to me?!" Ava asked with an unhappy expression. She didn't know this man, but he dared to curse her?! Of course, if this bastard wanted to find trouble with her, Amber was happy to serve him.

Seeing Amber, Ethan was shocked. He had to admit that Amber was very beautiful, more beautiful than Ava.

Amber had beautiful and charming eyes, combined with snow-white skin and smooth black hair that fell straight down to her buttocks, making her beauty undeniable, like an angel descending from heaven.

This naturally made Ethan wonder in his mind, how could such a beautiful woman be with a scumbag like Caleb, especially at such an important event?!

He had to find out what was really going on.

Ethan then replied with a warm smile, "Ah, I'm sorry if you think it was directed at you. However, it was actually directed at the man beside you."

Amber turned her gaze towards Caleb, asking, “Do you know him, Caleb?”

“I honestly don’t know him, Miss Amber. However, he is the man who stole my wife,” Caleb replied immediately while staring coldly at Ethan.

Ava suddenly interrupted, saying, "How dare you say that, Caleb?! Mr. Thompson never snatched me from you, but I gave myself to him! Besides, who would want to be with a criminal like you?! You are nothing more than a piece of trash in my eyes!"

Hearing that, Caleb showed a bitter expression, his heart felt like it was being torn apart. Ava had completely changed. This woman was not the woman he knew!

Ethan on the other hand, showed a satisfied smile as Caleb was humiliated by Ava. That's what you deserve, Bastard!

He then continued, "I don't know how you met him, and what kind of sweet words he threw at you to make you hire him and bring him here, but as you've heard, he's a criminal. He just got out of prison today! So, you better kick him out of here before you regret it. I'm afraid he'll bring trouble for you."

Amber was shocked by what Ethan said. Caleb is a criminal? Moreover, he was released from prison today?

She then asked Caleb, "Is that true, Caleb?"

Caleb immediately replied, "It's true, Miss Amber. I was released from prison today."

At this point, Amber gave a nod of understanding. She now understood Caleb’s situation.

Caleb had just gotten out of prison, but his wife had dumped him and was with this arrogant man.

Amber didn’t know what the situation was between them, but she could see the disappointment and disbelief in Caleb’s eyes when Ava insulted him, indicating that things had been fine between the two of them before.

What a stupid woman! She threw away a good and great man like Caleb, and chose to be with an arrogant and manipulative man like Ethan, who could betray her at any time?!

Can't she see Caleb's true worth?!

Doesn't she know that Caleb is someone very great and extraordinary?!

Of course, if Ava dumps Caleb, then Amber is willing to make Caleb hers.

Moreover, Amber wants to reveal Caleb's true identity. Seeing how Ava treats Caleb, it is clear that Caleb is hiding his true identity from Ava.
