Chapter 374

I didn't realize that Alexander had followed me into the room until I heard his moans. The pitiful sound he emitted managed to bring me out of the rage I was immersed in, and he made me open my eyes. Then, a gasp of pure shock and horror left my lips.

My fingers opened and dropped the flower I was previously holding, now in a strange, misshapen and blackish shred from which a row of gray smoke seemed to be coming out.

But what…?

Even with my eyes filled with tears, I was able to see the faint trace of what appeared to be real smoke emanating from the palms of my hands. I didn't believe it. It couldn't be possible. Either my own sense was deceiving me, or in the end I did end up losing my mind.
