"FUCK!"

As the sun rays entered Jeffrey's room and his alarm clock rang, Jeffrey woke up breathing heavily, and with a pale face he quickly looks around.

" What happened to me?" Afraid he quickly placed his hands on his chest and looks down.

" It was all a dream?" A soft exhale of relief was released from Jeffrey. He laid down on his bed trying to remember what his dream was about though he was baffled since he can't remember the last time he dreamt.

As he tried to remember, he keeps on looking at his chest because in the dream he was stabbed in the back and he died?

RING! RING!

A sound coming from his bedside table wakes him from his thoughts, he turns his head and sees his phone ringing, apparently his mother calling him?.

He picked up the phone and spoke, " Hello Mom, is anything wrong?"

" Jeffrey have you forgotten today is your birthday?" An exasperated mature female voice could be heard on the other side of the phone.

" Huh" Jeffrey looks at the date on his phone which showed September 1 and then he remembered that his girlfriend was going to give him a 'gift' today, as he remembers that, he involuntary looks at the dance pole in the middle of his huge room and becomes excited and expectant for today.

" Jeffrey, Jeffrey, JEFFREY!" He hears his mother's shouts on the phone which brought him back from his lewd thoughts.

" Yes Mom, sorry I just got lost in my thoughts and thanks for the money you sent." Jeffrey quickly replies and shifts the topic before his mother asks for his thoughts.

" Hahhh... Whatever Jeffrey, Happy Birthday Jeffrey from your father and I. We love you."

" I love you guys too. Please greet Dad for me when he's back from the military. Bye."

" No problem. Bye Son, remember to always use condoms alright." A silent chuckle was heard from the phone before the call was disconnected.

" ... Sometimes I wonder how she knows, Mothers are scary." Jeffrey sighed before calling his older sister and father before video calling his babe.

An hour later, Jeffrey exits the shower with a towel on his waist and looks at the mirror in his bedroom.

" An handsome face which would make every mortal, immortals and kings to fear their wives would be taken by this masterpiece, a well defined body with eight abs, chest females would comfortably sleep on, muscles to protect all women and a beautiful natural caramel skin. I must say, I'm really handsome and sexy." Jeffrey says with a very satisfied look and his hands on his chin.

" I better dress up and leave or else Jennifer might decide to punish me if I'm late, she might even decide not to give me my 'gift' today".

A man wearing a white long sleeve T-shirt, white trousers and white sneakers stepped out of an expensive black looking car while holding a phone to his ear.

" Yes baby, I'm at Life's A Bliss Restaurant. This time I was faster than you... Yeah Yeah... Call me when you get here."

Jeffrey cut the call and put his phone inside his pocket. He looks at the beautiful and wonderful building and appreciates the name repeating in his mind how life's been truly blissful for him. He has a wonderful family, a good job, a beautiful house and the best girlfriend. He entered the building and sat down while keeping an extra seat. While waiting, he brings out his phone and subconsciously touches his head and sighed.

" Forgot I didn't bring my headphones. Well if I did she'll definitely complain." Jeffrey chuckled remembering when Jennifer asked him if he loves the headphones more than her.

SMACK!

" Ouch! Who the fuck..." Jeffrey turns around in anger with his hands on his head and sees a stunning woman with snow white skin, beautiful long black hair wearing a black long sleeve shirt, black trousers with black heels while holding a black purse. Though this woman looked stunning, she currently had an angry look on her face.

" Hey Babe, you look absolutely stunning today." Jeffrey says quickly taking a 180 degree turn in words, face and smile on his face that'll make even the vilest of men and women to show compassion.

" You were thinking about your headphones right?" Jennifer not buying the smile or the face looks at Jeffrey with folded arms and a raised eyebrow.

" At all babe, I was thinking about you and what clothes I'll see on a beautiful and stunning woman like you today." Jeffery lied while still keeping his charming smile.

Meanwhile a smile appeared on Jennifer's face which if any stranger sees, they would think she was satisfied with Jeffrey's answer but Jeffrey seeing it, knew that was not the case.

" Ohh, is that so. Then let me ask you, what is the color of my clothes?" Jennifer asks with a smile.

Jeffrey thought of something and paled while looking at his clothes.

" Now what color did we agree on to wear today. Hmm?" Jennifer asks with a smile seeing Jeffrey's pale face.

" Uhmmm, babe, I'm sorry alright. I forgot and just picked white." Jeffrey decides to apologize quickly before she thinks of more mistakes like maybe he didn't cut his hair very well or something else.

Jennifer raises an eyebrow but decides not to bother him since today is his birthday.

" Happy 21st birthday Jeffrey" Jennifer says to Jeffrey before taking her seat.

"Thanks babe, but I didn't receive my kiss and hug"

" That's punishment for wearing white" Jennifer says while rolling her eyes.

" Oh. Should've seen that one coming" Jeffrey says with a sigh.

"Yes you should, let's order our food I'm hungry" Jennifer picks up the menu and gestures for Jeffrey to do the same.

"Babe, do you know what shop that is?" Jeffrey gestured with his eyes towards a shop opposite Life's a bliss restaurant on the other side of the road while holding a chicken leg.

" Nope, I don't know, why? You want to check it out?" Jennifer asks while looking at her empty plate and her boyfriend's plate that's still filled with food. When she looked at how much food Jeffrey ate, she realized she would be cooking a lot when they get married.

" Yeah why not. It might be interesting and if I don't check it out now, I might not be able to check it out later"

"Okay, when you're done eating we'll go". Jennifer replies.

"And then we'll go to my house and I get my present" Jeffrey says with a excited grin on his face.

"Of course you'll love it, if you don't I'll force you to learn how to be a stripper" Jennifer rolls her eyes while looking at Jeffrey's excited face.

"Huhh, that might not be so bad after all you know. I mean I got the body, the face, the dick. And I mean I'll have a lot of MILFS shouting my name" Jeffrey says while stroking his chin with a lewd expression on his face and Jennifer rolls her eyes.

" The shop is a fortune teller shop?" Jeffrey says with a confused expression while looking at the building sign which says ' Welcome to the Teller of Fortune and Misfortune Shop'.

" It also says misfortune?" Jennifer also says while looking confused.

" Let's just look at what it's about, we're already here by the way" Jeffrey says before entering and Jennifer enters afterward.

Jeffrey and Jennifer look around in awe after entering the shop because inside the shops were paintings, paintings which they've never seen before. Paintings of various animals and mythical beasts like phoenixes and dragons, paintings of men and women fighting strange humanoids, paintings of other races which they've never seen before and paintings of various kinds of weapons. There were so many paintings that if they were to look at everything, they'll spend the whole day.

" Have you seen enough?" bringing them out of their trance was a beautiful and mature voice and when they both turned around, they were stunned because they could not see the person who talked, why, because she was wearing a robe and a mask that covered her body and face, not even showing her eyes and she was sitting on a chair behind a table which they could've sworn was not there when they entered.

"Have you seen enough again" the same voice could be heard but this time with a little bit of impatience and annoyance.

"Yeah sorry, we were amazed by the paintings here. They're really beautiful" Jeffrey says while gesturing to the paintings.

"Thank you and don't ask about the clothes" The robed woman said.

"Uhmm, okay and you're welcome I guess?" Jeffrey replied with raised eyebrows.

" So are you here so that I can tell you your fortune or misfortune?" The robed woman asked.

"Sure, you can do both I guess?" Jeffrey says while looking towards Jennifer for confirmation if she's okay with it to which she just shrugged.

"Great, now please look into the mirror that is behind you for a minute and don't talk" the robed lady gestured to the mirror which was beside the glass door they entered from.

Jeffrey and Jennifer stood in front of the mirror and started admiring the carvings on the frame of the mirror while the robed woman brought out a book and words started appearing in it, words only she could read and as she started to read the words she became pale and looked at Jeffrey with pity, the amount of pity in her eyes if one could see them, others would also feel pity for Jeffrey without even knowing why.

As she looked at Jeffrey who was looking at the carvings of the mirror with interest and with all smiles, she sighed and then came to a decision. She hid the book and brought out a small circular mirror and put it on the table.

" I'm done, you can come back now" she said while gesturing to the chairs in front of her to which Jeffrey and Jennifer sat and looked at her waiting for her to continue even though they were just doing it for fun.

" What are your names first?" The robed woman asked and brought out a book and a pen from under the table.

"Jeffrey"

"Jennifer"

" Your last names also please?" the robed lady asked which elicited raised eyebrows from both Jeffrey and Jennifer.

" When people come back here to give testimonies, how will I know them without their full names. You know there are a lot of people with your names right?". The robed lady asked in annoyance.

" She's actually right but you make it sound like as if you'll get customers" Jennifer says while gesturing to the lack of people in the shop.

"You'll be shocked to find out just how many desperate people would be looking for a place like this" the robed lady countered back.

"So you target only desperate people?" Jennifer asks with amusement.

"Alright, alright can you please tell us our fortune or fate or whatever you called it" Jeffrey stops the argument before it escalates because one major life lesson he has learnt is women arguing is one of the most stressful things for him to handle or listen to.

" Alright, before I was interrupted by an ignorant person" the robed lady looked at Jennifer to which Jennifer scoffs and Jeffrey breathing a sigh of relief because he mainly wants to get home and get his present.

" I looked at Jeffrey…?" to which Jeffrey replies " Jeffrey Miles and Jennifer Marlene".

" Hmm, before I answer, Jennifer if Jeffrey's life becomes difficult and hard, will you still stay with him. Will you still love him if things become difficult for him?" the robed lady asked Jennifer with a very serious voice.

" What kind of question is that, of course I'll still love him" Jennifer replies with a confused voice. The robed lady looked intently at Jennifer for a few seconds and then withdrew a necklace from her robe which had a small gem and then gestured for Jeffrey to take it.

" What is this?" Jeffrey looked at the robed woman in confusion.

" It's a gift for being my first customer and also for your birthday".

" Wait, wait, wait. First how did you know it's his birthday, second where is my own gift, third are you hitting on my boyfriend?" Jennifer shouts while looking at the robed woman and Jeffrey decided to just keep on inspecting the gem in his hands since he knows another argument is on it's way.

" First you don't get any gift because you're ignorant, second I'm a fortune teller or fate reader, third so what if I decide to hit on him, what are you going to do about it?" she replies with mirth in her voice. Immediately, Jeffrey heard 'what are you going to do about it', he groaned.

" Babe, let's go, it's gonna be late". Jeffrey quickly stands up and grabs Jennifer's hands before the robed lady finds out what Jennifer's going to do about it.

"Goodbye, lady…?"

" Call me Zhena, just Zhena" Zhena replies in a bedroom voice and Jeffrey froze because of how beautiful and alluring that voice, he almost could not control himself from removing that ungrateful mask that dares to hog her face all to itself.

"You bitch!" Jeffrey paled when he heard Jennifer's angry voice and he knew if he doesn't take her out of here, he'll never get his present, so he did the first thing that came to his mind, he carried her on his shoulder and dashed out of the shop but not before hearing the same bedroom voice from Zhena.

" Goodbye Jeffrey, I'll love to see you later".

" BITCCHH!!"

" Hahahaha… hahh that was good. At least it allowed me to blow off some steam" Zhena sighed and then looked at the mirror Jeffrey and Jennifer were admiring and pointed at the mirror, it slowly showed Jeffrey calming down Jennifer and pleading with her to enter the car and the mirror changed back to normal.

" I can't believe I saw somebody with a fate broken physique in this world. His life is going to be very difficult, very painful, fate would do everything to destroy him and will limit his path. I don't know what will happen to him but I know tomorrow is when everything will change for him and this world, I even gave him a soul gem from my clan for him and his girl, maybe she'll be able to help him with it".

" I don't know why I even bothered helping him, nobody with a fate broken physique survives, they die no matter what, all of this won't be happening if my clan and the others were not betrayed".

" I also have to look around this planet for anybody that has the blood of a Unidan or is talented at reading fate, what a hassle" Zhena sighed after she spoke and leaned back on her chair and fell asleep.
