Chapter 24

Gong taped his feet on ground with force and the whole army stood at just 60 meters distance away from him.

Lucifer also raised his hand and his army understood as they stood at almost distance as Gong’s army.

“I don’t think you want a full fledged battle right now Gong?” Lucifer shouted while being in air.

“Then let it be a face off..who ever wins takes the kid.” Gong said pointing towards Tom, who felt as if this was his last day.

He got up from behind the bushes and was about to run when Lucifer said, “Tom stop!”

“I’m not going to…I’m just a prop for you both..a trophy to show who’s more powerful. It’s better to kill myself in my own then to die in your fuckinn battle.”

He shouted while running towards the jungle.

“Ahh kids!!” Lucifer said in irritation and saw Gong running behind him so he also flew towards Tom direction.

Maze and Lily were about to come behind when Lucifer said, “focus on these deads..I’ll handle Gong.”

They nodded and looked at those deads with hungry eyes. They could feel the tension rising amongst the two parties.

“I hope Lucifer comes back soon..Fight between these two armies would create a chaos..” Lily said as Maze replied “Rightly said queen.”

As all of them waited for their leader’s command.

Tom was running into the woods with all his might, he didn’t wanted to die this soon and that also by the hands of some supernatural creeps was a big NO.

“Come back here you boy!” Shouted Gong as he was about to get hold of Tom but Lucifer came in between and pushed Tom away from Gong’s reach.

“You want the boy right? Go through me.” Lucifer said while drawing his sword out.

“Fine. You asked for it.” Gong said positioning his sword in his right hand above his eye level, it’s blade directing towards Lucifer.

Lucifer squinted his eyes and in swift move swing his sword to attack Gong who easily blocked the attack with his sword and pushed Lucifer back as it was now his turn to attack.

The swords created a loud clink that felt like thunder in that isolated forest. The green and red colour sparks emerging from the touch of swords made the view magnificent.

Tom stood still as he wanted to trust Lucifer on this..mainly because of his faith of lord Lucifer.

The fight between these titans lasted for around 25 minutes when both of them were fighting to full swing. Then came the sound of roars and shouts from a distance that indicated that the armies had started ti fight.

Neither Gong nor Lucifer wanted this battle to start like this as they knew that both the armies are equally capable and if the fight erupts then both of them would be left with only fallen soldiers..with no survivor.

Lucifer pushed Gong and ran towards Tom ti take him out from that place, Gong was quick enough to understand this move so he pounced upon Lucifer but before be could get hold of him, Lucifer swung his sword that cut through the flesh of Gong’s thigh.

“Ahhhh!” He loudly shrieked in pain.

Lucifer didn’t bothered much and took Tom and flew away towards the place where War was going on.

Upon seeing Lucifer with Tom all safe and sound, the fight came to an halt, whispers emerged amongst the deads…the blood dripping from Lucifer’s sword made them even more worried.

The field came to still. There was silence as Lucifer got down with Tom. A loud whimper again came and echoed in the forest and Lucifer said, “Go and save your boss…”

In next second all of them ran towards the direction of Gong while Lucifer and his army stayed back.

Tom murmured “what the fu*k” when he saw wolves transforming into humans.

Lucifer chuckled at the reaction of boy and said, “So how was your experience with the supernaturals?”

“This is all insane.” He replied while most of the people around him smiled widely.

“You guys came in time.” Lucifer then said while looking at Chris, leader of ware wolves and Luis, the leader of vampires.

Both of them nodded in respect and Chris replied, “Who wants to miss the opportunity of standing by your side my lord.”

Lucifer just smiled politely and nodded in response when he again heard a murmur coming from Tom, “lord of what?”

“Lord of hell.” Lily replied before Lucifer could say something.

“What do you mean by that?” Tom asked.

“That means he is the hell lord Lucifer himself…you can say in his human form…” Maze added.

Tom glanced at Lucifer while he slowly nodded in response.

“But where is that evil look? Your face don’t seem like something that can scare the shit out of a person.” Tom said

Lucifer chuckled and replied “trust me boy, you better not see that look.”

He then clapped his hand followed by slight rubbing and said, “ok then that’s all for today. Let’s get going.”

When Lucifer spread his majestic wings and slowly moved away from ground he said, “Today was just a glimpse of what we going to deal with from now on. The real battle begins now.”

Everyone bowed in front of Lucifer as a mark of respect before Leaving and this was for the first time in last 300 years when Lucifer accepted his position openly with gratitude.

“where are you going bud?” Lily asked Tom who was about to leave.

“To my place.” He innocently replied

“That’s not happening…you are coming to L&M mansion...” Lucifer said

“I’m capable of taking care of myself. I can go to my place.” Tom replied

“I don’t think Lucifer was asking.” Maze said with a smirk and looked at the other two standing beside him.

“Exactly. And that means you are coming with us. Like it or not!” Lucifer said and it was decided that all of them would go to L&M mansion as none if them was safe somewhere else.
