Chapter 28

..flashback continues..

The trio returned to wolves territory while taking care that they are not being attacked again.

The moment they reached, they were subjected to various questions thrown at them from Luis and his wife as well as other members of the two clans.

“We were being attacked by that entity!” Chris answered everyone sending a shock wave through the crowd.

“But why did you left the territory at first place?” Questioned Anna’s mother to her kids.

“We can’t stay within this area for our whole lives right? We just went out and god knows from where that entity came and attacked us.” Chris spoke up.

“Now I’m sure that it’s that half dead who wants to hunt upon all of us maybe because of our powers.” Luis concluded.

“Then we need to show what we can do with our power!” Jake spoke up.

“What do mean?” Luis suspiciously questioned.

“We should create an army..like joint forces of vampires and wolves. We can use each other’s powers. We all know that in one way or the other our powers completes us..like Wolfe’s speed and our hearing and telepathic abilities..what a dangerous combination it can be!” Jake said.

“What nonsense? How that will help us against that entity!” Luis bluntly said.

“How can you say it won’t? Remember our people have only injured when they were alone. Today we were together and see we escaped him. Our abilities can help each other.” Chris spoke out.

Luis thought for a while and then looked upto Jake who was glancing at him with shiny eyes.

“I must say that’s a good idea. We must learn to use out powers together.”

“And for that we need to train together. So that we know what the other members of both the clans are capable of doing and based on that we can make our army.” Jake suggested.

And this was for the first time Luis looked upto his don with proud expressions.

“Agreed! We must get use to each other. For that wolves and vampires must learn to coexist.” Chris announced.

Everyone at first were a bit hesitant but slowly agreed to this decision and started working and training together. That also gave an opportunity to Anna and Chris to know each other better.

“Ok so now all of them are making joint forces?” Tom asked.

“Yes. Although they still have differences but all of them are trying to cope up with them.” Lucifer informed.

“That’s great. But what about draugr?” Tom asked.

“His work is done for now. So he’ll go back from where he came. His only job was to make vampires and Ware wolves understand that both of them are equally important.” Lucifer replied and then stopped looking at Maze who fell asleep while this whole conversation was being done.

Tom and Lucifer chuckled and made Maze get laid properly on the couch. After which both of them went upto their respective rooms.

Living in a mansion was a whole new experience for Tom. Never in his life he had his personal room with a large comfy bed at the centre.

He was overwhelmed with the sight of his room and also while recalling Lucifer’s words, “That’s your room and it will forever be yours only.”

On the other hand Lucifer get laid on his bed while looking at his phone’s screen.

He typed on his phone, “you awake?”

Lily was wide awake at that time as she smiled broad looking at the message from her husband from hell.

“Yeah. Was about to go to sleep.” She replied

And continued typing “i know you must be having a lot many questions right? I promise I will answer all of them. Can we meet tomorrow?” She asked.

“You are right I do have a lot of questions and yes we can definitely meet.” He replied.

“Oh then I’ll send you time and place tomorrow.” Lilly replied.

“Great!!” Lucifer replied and he was more that happy that he will get to meet Lily urf Lilith. More then that he wanted to know why she didn’t tell him before!

“Good night Lucifer see you tomorrow.” Lilly messaged.

“Good night Lily see you tomorrow.” Lucifer replied and kept his phone aside. After few seconds his phone again beeped and he saw messages from Lily that stated “Lilith**”

Lucifer smiled wide and closed his eyes recalling the moment when he realised that Lily is none other then Lilith and slowly drowned into deep sleep.

It was one of the most peaceful sleep that he got in last 300 years.

Lily on the other hand was still awake and dialled a name “witch” from her phone.

“Lucifer spared Gong’s life today.” She told the other person.

“I knew it. He won’t kill him this easily.” The lady on other side said.

“Thank you so much Sabrina. It’s only because of you that I recalled who I was?” Lily said.

“Well You know I wasn’t willing to help you at first place.” Sabrina said with a chuckle while Lilly laughed too.

“I’m so sorry for what I did. But I had to.” Lily said.

“I can understand. But trust me you did what a true hell queen would do for her king.” Sabrina said while both the ladies hot engaged in talks for sometime before disconnecting it.

Lily went upto her room where Dia was sitting on her bed and asked, “where were you since morning?”

“Umm was just busy with some of my work.” Lily said.

“Don’t tell me you are still behind that supernatural world of yours?” Dia asked in concern.

Lily smiled and thought to herself, “that’s not only my supernatural world sister but yours too.”

“Lily! I’m asking something.” Dia said again.

“Ohh sorry..was just thinking about something. Don’t worry I’m not behind that world anymore. I found my answers.” Lily said.

Although Dia was confused with this answer but Lily’s word of “not going behind that world anymore” Made her feel lighter and she decided to further not ask questions.
