Ch.3 - Liu Family

Chu Yan and everyone who was in the same carriage as Xiang Chen were now seen crying. They cried because they heard Xiang Chen's sad story.

“What a pity for him, slaughtering 80% of the world's population to the point of being deemed a big criminal by the world just so that his friends live longer,” Chu Yan wiped away his tears, “I didn't expect that there would be such a tragic story. He really is a gentleman! Battle On Titan is the best story I've ever heard."

It was not only Chu Yan who was crying but everyone in the horse-drawn carriage had tears in their eyes.

They all listened to Xiang Chen's story.

"Would you like to hear another story?"

"Of course," they all nodded.

"Okay then listen carefully," Xiang Chen began.

After several hours of talking, Chu Yan and the others finally shed more tears than before.

"I didn't think there was anything sadder. Being an experimental material that makes his body turn like an octopus, but still has great affection for his students.”

“Kurusensei is the best teacher in the world. He is willing to make sacrifices for his students.”

“He was very kind, but ended up being killed by his students. I don't know why I feel like I was abandoned by my own teacher."

They all praised the story while wiping away tears. At first they thought there would be a way for Kurusensei to turn back into a human, but in fact they were killed by his own students.

“Brother Chen, then how will the students be after the teacher dies? Nagisi and Kurma?” asked Chuyan.

“All of his students live according to the path taught by their teacher. They achieved their goals.”

They spent time listening to Chen's story for the past 2 days. Xiang Chen tells many stories, starting from a young man who is trapped in a game world, a young man who always returns to the past when he dies, to a young man who comes to another world with a blue-haired goddess.

Until finally the horse carriage they were in suddenly stopped.

The cloth curtain at the rear of the carriage was opened, revealing a man dressed in black.

The man opened the iron cage, "we have arrived, now get out, quickly!"

None of them dared to object and immediately came out regularly from the iron cage. Their faces which were better before hearing Xiang Chen's story, now became sluggish again.

Xiang Chen was the last to leave. He saw that all the slaves in the other carriages had also left. Everyone looked down, looking weak.

Naturally, because they didn't eat at all while in the train car, they weren't even given a drink.

Xiang Chen found where he was now surrounded by a 5 meter high wall forming a square, in front of him now a fairly large building was visible.

Xiang Chen was walking in the very back row.

“You can still rest easy after being turned into a slave huh, brat,” The man didn't know whether Xiang Chen was too innocent or too stupid to not understand the situation.

"What reaction do you expect? You want to hear me scream in fear? pitiful? Or maybe fight?”

"Hm.. I think it will actually bother me by adding more work."

“That's right. So I just want to lessen your troubles,” Xiang Chen nodded, “So where is this?”

“Now that we are in the Liu Family branch, they are the main customers who buy slaves from us and the number can be in the thousands every year.”

Wait, why am I even answering this kid's question?

The man didn't understand, even though usually he was always fierce and vicious towards his slaves but when talking to the young man he became softer as if he was talking to a close friend.

“Well, she's about to become a slave anyway, so what can she do with just that information. After all, after becoming a slave of the Liu Family, no one would be able to escape,” the man muttered to himself.
