For thousands of years, the magical world of Aetheria stood strong, its land vast in an unending expanse could be varied as dozens of Earth joined together. It was ruled solely by the immortal emperor Gregor, who remained on the throne for centuries.
During his reign, the world of Aetheria was invaded by evil magic beasts who arose from dungeons through portals, seeking only destruction and chaos. The death of Gregor in the peak of battle and sorrowful cry of the inhabitants of the land awoke the great primordial dragon, Zordon.
Zordon empowered them to fight back, resorting in the awakening of mages, magical knights, and adventurers.
It also created an onyx core with the ability to seal the portals immediately they appeared.
Only if the seal was totally broken or the dungeon within cleared, there was no way out. After these, Zordon then went back to sleep.
Since then, the world of Aetheria was ruled by various nobles who comprised the great three sets of warriors awakened by the dragon. They overtook the throne from the heir of Gregor since he hadn't fallen under any of the Three.
Adventurers, mages, knights, all distributed in various ranks, in accordance with their strength.

In the former capital of Aetheria, which was now referred to as Nillis, a city overrun by two powerful opposing nobles, a group of warriors strutted into a throne room. Metal clanking as they walked further, their gaze set on a fat man who sat on a golden throne, various guards surrounding him.
Stopping about eighteen meters from the throne, they fell on their knees, head bowing towards the stainless ground.
"Rise!" the fat noble commanded authoritatively, his aura shaking the whole place. In immediate response, they all stood up.
"Have you confirmed the high-ranked dungeon's existence?"
"Yes, Lord Krel," answered one of the knights who walked closer to the throne, his eyes peering towards the ground, fidgeting.
The fat noble paused, his fingers tapping on his chin. A dungeon with such a high rank had only appeared twice in decades, recently their numbers increasing.
Though it was quite dangerous to raid such a dungeon without contemplation, he didn't have a choice. There was a lot of competition and they had to take any chance they had to grow larger.
Such a dungeon had its merits and demerits. They would require a lot of warriors surrounding the portal along with high-rank warriors who would go into the dungeon to overtake it. They would also need a high number of slaves who would gather the resources amidst the battle.
He took one glance at his emerald ring, a material which had made him become one of the most feared nobles, which was also retrieved from a raid like this. Not only would such a raid grant them resources, it would also give them enough strength to attack lower nobles.
He made up his mind. "Commence the preparations now!" he roared.

Lex breathed casually, proceeding to accept his first quest. After which, the system briefly explained all he should know about Aetheria.
He gazed at the fluorescent screen; the introduction of Aetheria which the system explained, was no different than the one he had written in his Novel. Although it would have helped a lot if he was the main character of the story. He would have an idea or two about what would happen next.
Ordinarily, Mana wielders which includes knights, mages and adventurers in Aetheria, were born with the power.
But the survival system had offered a way to fall into that aspect by only annihilating the dungeon monsters.
Lex laid sideways on the cemented prison ground, focused on the fluorescent screen which now projected;
{Quest count down}
{Seven days}
{Or you will remain a servant}
{Good luck on your quest host!}
Lex, stood up pacing, now he had to find a way to escape from this cell, he glanced around the cell for anything that could be of use to him, but it was all to no avail, only a pile of rocks and hale wooden covers scattered around the cell.
"System," Lex echoed in his mind, "how can I get out of here?"
{I cannot render a solution to your question}
{ it's a part of the quest}
The mechanical voice of the system responded coldly.
A silent chuckle came from the dark cell opposite of where Lex stood.
"Who's there?" Lex asked, stunned, moving closer to his bars.
A mocking female voice then responded from the other end. "Do you really think you can roam free again?" "Once you're behind these bars you'll be lucky enough to be a pawn in the hands of the nobles."
The figure then moved closer to her cell bars. The dim light from the torches, revealing the sublime form.
Lex's eyes widened as his gaze fell on the busty girl, she had long curly hair which dropped down to her abdomen.
Her upper chest area along with her waist was covered by furry clothing, which barely did its job.
Lex's jaw dropped at the sight of her ravishing beauty, not only that, but because she was a half human half beast.
Amidst his pure excitement he relaxed and spoke, "I'm Lex, what's yours?"
The fur clothed girl was taken aback, an emotional glint of surprise appeared in both of her eyes as she stared at the blonde servant right before her.
Her mocking tone vanished, as she gazed towards the other side of the cell, her Left shoulder resting on the bar.
I'm kate she replied shrewdly, while pouting.
"You're different from the others," she continued as she peered deeply back at Lex, "what can I say," beast kin, servants, "I guess in a way we're all the same." Replied Lex sincerely.
Kate then continued, "Do you really know some way out of here?"
"I have no idea at all," snuffed lex holding on to the bars intensely. "So we are really going to be executed uhn?"
"Not at all," replied Kate, a glimpse of hope shone on Lex's blue eyes as he heard Kate's words.
"So you'r
e saying we aren't going to be executed" asked Lex excitedly.
"Yes," replied Kate, calmly.

The Blue Fish
Lex sank deep into the ocean. The fall had been long, and he couldn't stop the momentum. He hadn’t held any breath earlier, and he was sure this wasn't going to end well. Blood spilled from the wounds on his back, and the poison in his legs had begun to spread. Lex knew that even if he somehow found a way to survive the first part of the quest,there was no way he could survive outside not while he was a useless slave. So Lex accepted his fate and embraced the cold of the dark ocean. His eyes closed as he recalled memories from his past life, how he had been absolutely average. He hadn’t expected anything from life, and life hadn’t given him anything without a bargain. So, was he going to go now?He was okay with it.{Ding!}The sound rattled in Lex's ears. With his eyes closed, he raised a brow, curious about what the system wanted from him."Hey system? Can't you see I’m trying to die here? Stop with the dinging."'I have accepted my fate. Even if I somehow make it out of here, the
The Ocean
The grip from the skeleton bird was tight. His eyes locked on the space in the ground were land had appeared. This was his chance and he wasn't going to miss it. Vines lunged upwards, twisting together like veins. Curling in the patterns in which lex had directed each of them. On getting close to his location, a loud screeched echoed from the skeleton bird. it was attacked by another bird of it's kind. Lex ignored that fact and simply focused on the vines he controlled. As the bird pulled him farther into the air. The harder it was to control the vines upwards. Soon enough he lost the control of the vines because it was simply to far away. The skeleton bird was not taking any chance on yeilding to the other bird that also wanted him as food. Lex reached for the dagger that was tucked at his side, stretching his arms with all of his strength. He pressed on. His fingers curling around it. And then with two fingers he gripped the handle. Lex tossed it up catching it and holding it fir
Vine control
Lex hastened his steps, each thud taking him as far as he could go. They were no longer just faint mana signatures anymore. The beasts had emerged from the bushes and were gaining on him at a frightening speed. But Lex ignored the fact that he could die at any moment and kept his focus on one thing. The quest. He still had to find the magic stones, and from the fact that the mages who created the portals had hurriedly sent him into a dungeon without preparation, it likely meant that the stones were not hidden but were placed in open sight. All he had to do was keep his eyes open and survive. Lex felt a mana-imbued strike coming from the left at full speed. He slipped, tripping on the snow in a very disgraceful manner, summoning his spell while in motion and materializing a vine ball that could shield whatever strike it was. The vines immediately enveloped him, but the force behind the strike was simply too strong and too sharp. It pierced through the ball like a blade. Le
Survive!
Clank! The sound of a beginner Knight's shield met a mana condensed arrow. But the raw power from the shot was enough to Parry and stop the hit completely. Back in noble barristan's arena, the crowd erupted in satisfaction as they were entertained with the pure massacre of the lower hand quest. "That's another brutal parry from mandarin!" The commentator yelled with glee as he watched Mandarin obstruct the strike at the last moment saving a total stranger. She continued with charisma, lifting the amusement of the crowd. One mage stood in the top balcony of the arena, channeling Mana from his palm and creating a wide divided screen view of each of the lower hand quest battles for the crowd to see. The screen floated in the middle of the arena, flicking every five minutes as it wasn't meant to be handled by one mage alone. Noble barristan sat at the royalty section of the arena, his gaze cold, absolutely devoid of any emotion of the sort. Many nobles had gathered here today, in
The Other Dungeons
The six eyes of the hydra instinctively snapped open, on sensing the imminent danger. Lex stood right at the entrance of the cave, fazed. His trembling hands clenched as he fell into resolve, he was going to take down this beast because that was the only way to survive. Vines materialized from the ground, surrounding him firmly, in a curved posture focused on the hydra right before lex. Lex had long awaited a response, right from the moment the hydra should have sensed Mana circulating through his body. He didn't mind. Neither did he care. Maybe thunder could indeed strike in two places at once. He wondered to himself. Lex took a stance and was ready to release the all out vine attack, but in a split second, the hydra had managed to send a strike at him, the strike was so powerful it sent him flying backwards various meters away and yet so fast, he was absolutely caught unawares. The hit was a shock to lex, he hadn't had time to prepare, neither was there a possible way for him t
The hydra
Lex let out a ragged breath and a weak shake, he'd been in the barely fitting hole for a couple of minutes now and the cold had began sinking into his very being. He had to leave really quick, not only because of the cold, but because of the lower hand quest itself, they hadn't been given any time frame and he was absolutely certain that sooner or later the ones with the magic stones would be transferred to the next round.For now, he had to find the magic stones and hold on to it, that was the most reasonable way to get out of this dungeon, it's not often a servant like him gets this opportunity. He retracted the spell. The vines immediately vanished. he was welcomed by the more intense cold of the dungeon.Compared to this, inside the vine ball was even warmer. He stood up on his feet, senses alert, eyes darting, this dungeon was even more dangerous than he has anticipated and he was going to take it more seriously from henceforth. Lex decided to check out the wolf and bear that had
