“Hey man! What did you talk with Roseline about?” Kalin whispered as he sat down next to Lucien.
“I apologized to her,” Lucien answered simply as he looked at her as she picked and ate some berries nearby with Gloria.
“Are you sure that’s all? I heard some yelling and moaning? You didn’t do anything to the princess of Verglacia did you?” Kalin prodded as he nudged Lucien with his elbow.
“Come on Kalin. Give it a rest. She was just setting me straight is all. I was at a pretty low point last night. I was ready to give up, but now I know what I need to do. We need to get to Elesron and gather supplies first.”
“What might that be?”
Lucien looked at Kalin and smiled, “I’m going to leave him with nothing, just like I was.”
Before Kalin could ask what he meant by that, Lucien stood up and began to walk in the direction of Elesron.
