ENTANGLEMENT

His alarm got him awake, not that he was sleeping so deep, he had a restless night having her all over his thoughts. It was the weekend he was going to meet her one-on-one in a quiet place for the first time. Merely thinking about her got him arose, as he stood up he wore his slippers and headed for his wardrobe and wondered about the outfit that would best please her.

He hurriedly took his bath as he planned on getting there twenty minutes before she arrived.

'Helen was going to meet a strange'.  This statement kept ringing in her head, her heart didn't take him as a stranger which got her wondering while the rest of her body took him as one.

She had just finished combing her hair, she decided to wear her ball blue gown which her sister for her on her birthday. At first, she was confused if it was a date she was going for or just strolling, and right there decided Cathy's gift was the best outfit to wear in between the confusion. Her phone immediately beeped, she picked it up and saw Michael's message:

"Am waiting, booked for table 2"

Table 2? Though one had to be rich to get the table, she waved it off as she reached to close the door behind her and locked it.

This was the fifth time she was going to Biggs and that was not without Eddy. She knew she had to let him go from her thoughts as she got into her vehicle and drove off.

Her beauty alone choked him that made him wonder where she had been all this while.

"H...h...i...hi"He tried not to stammer. But gosh!!!: She was too pretty to even notice most of the men were staring, the curves of the gown against her breast made things even worst. He had to stop himself from watching not to scare her away.

"Hope there was no stress in locating here, I can see you drove".

"Nah, I know this location, so it is not at all new to me ". She tried smiling seeing he was uncomfortable in the chair he sat in. She loved the way he was so uncomfortable across her.

Michael wished his movement and stammers were not too obvious.

" What, what would you like to take, Sir" The waitress was already with her note and pen.

Michael smiled at Helen who was deep-headed on the menu, as he looked from the menu he stole a glimpse of her pretty face closely.

"Well I will prefer an abalone soup" Michael immediately stated.

"I will take the same thing with him" Helen hurriedly said before it got to her turn. She did not like Abalone soup but not compared to the rest things slated on the menu which was why she tagged along with Michael's taste.

"You hate Abalone soup, I guess". Michael spoke, happy to break the silence.

"No...just...just that it's my favorite". Helen defensively said.

Michael knew crystal clearly that Helen just told him a big fat lie, Helen was trying to avoid his eyes while trying to tell her to lie.

The waitress did not waste time making the soup. Helen did not know how to eat it when she sighted it from afar, her dad had told her to stop eating such food, but she needed to look strong in Michael's front. She knew she needed lots of strength to continue in the way and manner.

" How is it?" Michael intentionally asked her.

"Well, it's a nice one, I love it". She immediately smiled a little. She did not know what Michael was up to but she knew he was up to something.

Michael could barely keep his eyes off her curves, most especially when she attempted to swallow her soup.

" So may I get to know about you? Michael asked trying to distract himself by looking at her curves. He knew this was a temptation but he had to stop it.

"Well nothing much, I just love chatting and meeting with new people. Helen was surprised to make such a reply without stammering. She had been avoiding his stares since she entered the fast food.

" It's my mother's favorite"

"Wow, you should be lucky, where is she"

"She's dead"

"I'm so sorry about it" Helen pitifully apologized.

"It's okay, it's past now",

Michael explained with his eyes fixed on his wet palms.

" It's late I should drop you off" Helen requested which got Michael perplexed.

"No, you...you don't have to bother yourself, I could order one online".

Michael didn't hear correctly, she offered to give him a ride, and he was excited to have left his car in his house. He knew he needed to act cool but her calm request almost got into a dancing mode, he still needed to put up an act.

" It's nothing Michael, by the way, where do you stay?" Cathy's question brought him back to reality.

"Well, if you insist"

"Yes I do"

"I stay at Low heaven, and you?

" What a coincidence, we are both staying in the same location"

Michael smiled and pretended as if he had no idea of where she lived, Michael knew how scared she would be if she got to know he knew most things about her if not everything.

"That's true, we are neighbors" Michael smiled shyly. She was being kind to him during this period and she wondered how what happened to his stern character.

He gave the waitress the cheque while they hurriedly left the table and headed for her car. Helen was using the latest red color Mercedes Benz, Michael was not surprised as he already knew about her.

"So off your house, we go" She smiled staring at him.

"Ya, off my house but wait, I wanna thank you for spending this quality time of yours with me, it meant a lot".

" It's nothing Michael, it's my pleasure" Helen smiled as she explained.  She didn't know how to tell Michael she was too tipsy to drive, she just had to handle it herself.
