Authur didn't know how the system made him to be the new owner, he arched his brow as he thought about how it all happened.

Suddenly the system appeared as he was thinking

Authur didn't understand how the system fully works.

"Is this real?" He thought to himself.

The next day Authur decided to visit his mother and his sister at Angel's Haven hospital.

His mother had been staying in the hospital for a few days and the doctors had threatened to stop the little treatments unless Authur and his sister provided a hundred thousand dollars.

Authur parked his motorcycle and went into the hospital building.

Ever since the new doctor came, they kept his mom In a separate ward and his mom has been lying there unconscious because they have refused to treat her without payment.

Sage Maxwell, Authur's younger sister ran towards Authur as she spotted him from the corridor.

"What! Is mom okay? What happened to her? Sage, is she okay?" 

"They have refused to treat her"

Authur frowned his face, he couldn't control the burning lava flowing through his veins.

How could they treat his mom that way?

Authur's lip curved down in a frown, he looked around the corridor and then asked "Where's the doctor?" 

"She's…she's in that room" Tears flowed down Sage's face and she tried to control the tears by blinking her eyes.

Sage had been staying with their mom in the hospital, she had gone to the Carter's mansion to beg for money but was thrown out by the guards and was denied the opportunity to speak to her brother.

She didn't know what to do so she went back to the hospital and hoped that their mom would miraculously wake up and be healthy.

Authur furiously marched into the room.

"Hey miss" 

The doctor turned her head in the direction of the voice, her face went pale as she saw the man standing with sweat over his face.

"Authur, what are you doing here?" The woman's voice shook as she spoke.

The woman was Josephine, Authur's ex-girlfriend. They had separated and went their separate ways after she told Authur that we wanted to school in France.

"Josephine, you work here?" 

Authur didn't expect to see his ex-girlfriend in the hospital, his anger subsided and he decided to go straight to the point and tell the reason he came.

"I am here to pay the Sum of a hundred thousand dollars for Mrs  Maxwell's treatment…and I want you to begin the treatment now!" Authur twisted his mouth as he stared at Josephine.

Josephine had a shocked expression on her face, she didn't know that Mr's Maxwell was Authur's mom.

She bent her head and apologized to Authur and hurriedly left the room to contact other doctors to immediately start surgery.

"What did I just hear? Did the Carter's give you a hundred thousand?" 

Sage rushed into the room and tiptoed so she could see Authur's face clearly.

She wore a faded top and a plain skirt, her eighteenth birthday was around the corner and she had no hopes of celebrating it.

"No! I met an old friend who introduced me to a profitable business" 

Authur couldn't tell her the truth, he wanted to keep the system a secret and only tell his family when the time was right.

"Oh…I knew those people would never give you money! You should have seen how I was humiliated and thrown out the other day!"

Sage frowned as she remembered the cruel treatment she got in the Carter's mansion.

Authur pulled her into his arms and said "It's okay sage, I will make them pay for all they have done!" 

"What? How?" Sage raised her head up and arched her brows.

"You will see!" Authur patted her shoulders.

He will surely make them pay for all they have done to him and his family.

Hours passed and Authur looked up as he saw Josephine walk towards them.

Sage's head was rested on his shoulders and he gently removed his shoulders and placed her head on the seat.

"Is my mom okay?" Authur walked towards Chloe and asked her.

"Yes she is fine and the good news is that she is awake and you and your girlfriend can go in and see her"

Josephine pointed at Sage who was sleeping peacefully on the chair.

Authur looked at the direction she was pointing at and realized that she was talking about his sister.

"She is my sister" 

"Oh" Josephine breathed down a sign of relief, she still had feelings for Authur but she tried to hide it.

Authur raised his brow and then asked "Are you the doctor that denied my mom any access to treatment?"

"I was doing my job and I didn't know she was your mom" Josephine looked at her feet and ignored Authur's burning gaze.

"I am… sorry" She quickly apologized as she saw Authur walk in the direction of his sister and leaving her all by herself.

Authur carried sage on his back in a piggyback style and walked towards the room their mother was kept.

"Mom" 

Sage woke up as Authur opened the door, she quickly realized what going on and tapped Authur on the shoulder to let her down.

"Mom, are you okay?" 

Authur and Sage stood by the side of the bed.

"I am feeling better, Authur…thank God I get to see you again." 

Mrs Maxwell touched Authur's face, the last time she saw Authur was at Authur's wedding ceremony with Chloe Carter in the Carter's mansion.

Lord Carter had given her permission to visit her son anytime but due to the unfortunate incident that happened to Lord Carter, she couldn't visit her son and the Carter's family banned her and told her to never step foot in the Carter's mansion again.

"It's okay Mom, you will always see me from today henceforth!" 

Authur smiled at her and held my hands in his.

Sage puffed up her cheek and then said "He is not your only child you know!" 

She was starting to get jealous of her brother and jokingly said those words to tease them.

Mrs Maxwell and Authur burst into a fit of laughter.

"Mom, big bro has gotten into a very profitable business and he has paid the hospital bills and we can go back home anytime we want." 

Sage could hardly contain her happiness and she narrated all that happened to her mother.

"Shush" 

Authur shut her up and put his hand over her mouth.

Authur asked his system "Can you determine the overall health of my mom through the system?" 

[Your mom seems to be in good health and from my analysis she is good to go home today]

"Thanks system" 

Authur smiled as he heard the system's words.

"Mom, sage, I will be back in the next few minutes."

Authur left the hospital and hopped on his motorcycle.

"System do you know any famous real agent in this area?"

[Yes, there is a famous real estate agent called Don Marvin, he can get you any house of your choice in Beverly Hills]

[Does the host want to purchase a new house?] The system asked Authur.

"Yes, give me his address." 

[He lives in the heart of Beverly Hills, in No 2 Hilton Street." 

Authur thanked the system and drove to Hilton Street.

He arrived there twenty minutes later and met Don Marvin.

They negotiated and Authur paid one billion naira to purchase the biggest Mansion in Beverly Hills.
