You just have to try and imagine it.
The bear's telepathic voice echoed inside Scott's mind. Scott clenched his fists in frustration. "I've tried before, but it's not working." The bear stood nearby carrying his mother's corpse carefully on its back. Outside, the hunters were getting closer. They didn't have much time. You are not strong enough to break the barrier, but creating a magical portal should be easy for someone with your bloodline. Scott stared at him in disbelief. "Easy, you said?" His voice rose. "Prince Franky could do magic even as a child, but I've never seen him or anyone in Azra perform portal magic." He pointed at the bear. "And you are telling me it's easy?" The bear remained calm. If you keep limiting yourself to their standards, then you will never surpass them. Scott fell silent. You claim to be powerless, yet you possess the rarest bloodline and birthmark that nobody in Azra has except you. The bear's eyes locked onto his. Do you want them to kill you without getting your revenge? Scott's jaw tightened. Do you want to die without ever learning who you truly are? His fists slowly clenched. Forgive me if I speak out of turn, Master, but I was never a weakling. The bear stepped closer. And if you were destined to be one, the universe would never have granted you the honor of contracting a God-Tier Beast. Those words struck deep. Scott turned toward his mother's body. Pain filled his chest. The grief. The guilt. The anger. Everything came rushing back. If he hadn't been caught... If Franky hadn't stopped him... If Sarah hadn't betrayed him... His mother might still be alive. Hatred burned inside him. A hatred so intense it drowned out every other emotion. "I'll make them pay," he whispered. His eyes reddened. Then he closed them. He imagined the summoning ceremony. The glowing circle. The portal. The swirling energy. He imagined it opening before him. A red light suddenly appeared. The air twisted. A crimson circle slowly formed in front of him. Scott's eyes widened. The portal expanded. Just as several powerful magical auras arrived outside the house. The hunters had reached them. Quickly! Without hesitation, Scott stepped through the portal. The bear followed carrying his mother's corpse. A second later, the portal vanished. --- They reappeared inside the forest where they had hidden before. Scott stumbled forward, breathing heavily. The portal closed behind them. For a moment, neither spoke. Then the bear's voice entered his mind. You did it, Master. Your first spell. Scott managed a faint smile. "I couldn't have done it without your help." The bear lowered its head proudly. Together, they dug a grave beneath a large tree. The moon shone quietly overhead. Scott buried his mother with his own hands. No mourners. No funeral. No final prayers. Just him. When it was over, he remained beside the grave for a long time. Silently staring. Eventually, exhaustion forced him to rest. That night, they slept beneath the forest canopy, he slept comfortably for the first time in long while. The next morning, sunlight filtered through the leaves. Scott slowly opened his eyes. The forest was peaceful. Too peaceful. He sat up and looked around. The bear was nowhere to be seen. "Where are you?" I am here, Master. The voice came from inside his head. Scott frowned. "Where?" Inside your domain. "My domain?" Scott looked around in confusion. The dragon tattoo on his chest suddenly glowed softly. The Dragon Mark on your chest creates a domain for your beasts. It is where contracted beasts rest and replenish their energy. Scott stared at the glowing tattoo. "That's interesting." He took a moment to absorb everything. "So how many beasts can I own in my current domain?" In your current energy core level, you can only support one God-Tier Beast and two Legendary Beasts in your domain. Scott's eyes widened. "Only that much?" For now. The larger your energy core becomes, the larger your domain grows. The larger your domain becomes, the more beasts you can contract. And the stronger both of us become. Scott nodded slowly. The information fascinated him. But you need training. The bear's voice became serious. I can teach you basic magic. The rest you will have to learn yourself. Scott listened carefully. You also need to learn how to fight. The success of a summoner depends not only on the strength of his beasts but also on the strength of the summoner himself. Scott stood up. The morning breeze brushed against his face. For the first time since leaving Azra, he felt he had a direction. He needed power. Power strong enough to avenge his mother. Power strong enough to uncover the truth. Power strong enough to survive. "Then I need to find a teacher." Agreed. Scott nodded. Then another question came to mind. "What's your name?" A brief silence followed. Then the answer came. You can call me White. Scott blinked. "White?" The name sounded strange coming from a God-Tier Beast. Yes. "My name is White." Scott rubbed his forehead. Out of all the terrifying names a God-Tier Beast could have possessed... White was not one of them. "Fine." He adjusted his clothes. "Then you can call me Scott." "I don't like the sound of Master." A pause followed. Then the beast replied. Very well... Scott. A smile appeared on his face. "Much better." Scott took one last look in the direction of Azra. Then he turned away. The road ahead was long. Filled with danger. Filled with enemies. Filled with answers. With revenge burning in his heart and a God-Tier Beast resting within his domain, Scott stepped onto the forest road and began his journey toward the next city. A few hours later, Scott was stilll walking along the forest path. The road ahead eventually connected to a wider trade route used by merchants and travelers. Just as he was about to step onto the road, movement caught his attention. Scott immediately ducked behind a large tree. His eyes narrowed. A carriage had been stopped. Bandits. About ten of them surrounded the vehicle. Scott remained hidden as he observed the situation. Most of the bandits carried swords, axes, and crude weapons stained by years of use. Their clothes were dirty and patched together from stolen pieces of armor and cloth. At the center of the group sat their leader. The man looked completely unconcerned. He lounged lazily atop a donkey while eating fruits from a wooden basket. His large belly hung over his belt. Scars and faded tattoos covered his thick arms and neck. A massive battle axe rested across his shoulder. The weapon was so large that Scott doubted he could even lift it. The bandit chief took another bite from an apple. He looked more interested in his lunch than the robbery. Maybe he's too strong to bother fighting himself, Scott thought. His attention shifted toward the carriage. The driver was a nobleman. At first glance, the man appeared to be in his late thirties. His appearance was neat and refined. He wore layered dark robes beneath a sleeveless coat embroidered with silver patterns. A long sash wrapped around his waist, securing a curved sword at his side. His black hair was tied neatly behind his head, giving him the appearance of a wandering warrior-scholar rather than a noble. Despite being surrounded, his face remained calm. Almost too calm. One of the bandits stepped forward. "Listen carefully, old man." He pointed his sword toward the carriage. "Leave everything behind and run for your life." Another bandit grinned. "That's the only reason you're still breathing." The noble smiled faintly. His calmness irritated them immediately. "Take your men and leave the road." His voice was relaxed. "I'll overlook this interruption and won't waste my energy killing you." Silence followed. Then the bandits burst into laughter. One nearly fell over. "Did he just threaten us?" "I think he did." "Look at this idiot." Another bandit scratched his head. "Boss, are we robbing a merchant or a lunatic?" The leader sitting on the donkey shrugged. "Doesn't matter." He tossed an apple core away. "Just don't damage the carriage. We might sell it later." The bandits laughed again. One pointed at the noble. "You hear that?" "Our boss already owns your carriage." Another added, "Be grateful. Most people pay extra for a funeral." The noble remained silent. The more he ignored them, the angrier they became. One bandit clenched his teeth. "Why does this bastard keep smiling?" "Maybe he was kicked in the head by a horse." "Or maybe his wife finally left him." That earned another round of laughter. The noble simply folded his arms. The smile never left his face. The bandits' amusement quickly turned into frustration. "You scum!" One of them finally snapped. With a roar, he charged forward. A pair of hand axes gleamed in his hands. "I'll wipe that smile off your face!" He leaped into the air. The axes came crashing down toward the noble's head. The noble finally moved. His lips parted. A single spell escaped his mouth. Then suddenly a wind burst out and the surrounding air exploded. BOOM! A violent gust slammed into the charging bandit. His eyes widened in horror. The attack never reached its target. His body was launched backward like a rag doll. CRASH! He smashed directly into a tree. The trunk cracked. Blood sprayed from his mouth. Then he slid lifelessly to the ground. Dead. The forest fell silent. Even the birds stopped singing. The remaining bandits stared at the corpse. Disbelief spread across their faces. The noble adjusted his sleeve calmly. As if he had merely brushed away an insect. The silence lasted only a few seconds. Then rage erupted. "You killed him!" "That bastard killed Kroll!" "We'll chop him into pieces!" Weapons were drawn. The bandits charged together. This time, all of them.Latest Chapter

Daniel Beasts
It was another Beast Summoning Ceremony.Just like every year, the streets of Valoria were overflowing with excitement.Colorful banners hung from buildings. Merchants filled the roads with food, games, and decorations. Travelers from different cities mixed freely with the locals.Valoria had always been known as one of the most peaceful cities in the kingdom.Despite its massive population, people rarely caused trouble. The city welcomed outsiders regardless of where they came from. There were only two rules.Pay your taxes. And never summon your beast in public to fight or create chaos.Azra was nothing like this.Back there, strangers were only welcome if they arrived in chains.Over the past few months, Scott had finally learned what it meant to care for others and be cared for in return. The people he had met by chance had become more than family. They had become his home.Daniel adjusted his academy uniform proudly. His white hair shone beneath the morning light, and his youthfu
Fireworks and Foreboding
"Isn't it past your bedtime already huh?" Mr.Zen asked the group as he joined them. They immediately giggled like they had been discussing something important. Before anyone could answer, fireworks suddenly exploded across the night sky.Boom!Boom!Beautiful colors blossomed overhead, painting the darkness with red, gold, blue, and silver light that looked like a rainbow."The fireworks!" Raya shouted. She ran outside first.Jessica followed, then Scott, Daniel, and Mr. Zen.The entire city of Valoria seemed to glow beneath the celebration."It's finally getting close," Daniel said, unable to hide his excitement.Raya looked at him."What's getting close?"Everyone turned toward her.Jessica slapped her forehead."Seriously?""What?" Raya protested."So all these banners, talismans, decorations, and celebrations around Valoria, and you still don't know what's about to happen?"Everyone stared at her.Raya waved her hand dismissively."Come on, guys. Don't give me that look. I honestl
I'm not scared anymore
Later that night, Scott finally kept the promise he had made to Jessica. He told her to meet him at the spring after everyone had settled down. The moment Jessica left her room, two shadows slipped out from elsewhere in the mansion.Raya narrowed her eyes suspiciously."I refuse to believe Scott is taking her somewhere fun and not telling us."Daniel nodded immediately."Exactly. This is a matter of great importance."You just want to know what's going on.""So do you.""Fair point."The two quietly followed behind Jessica.A few minutes later, Jessica arrived at the spring."Scott?" she called. No answer. She looked around but found no sign of him, then she noticed a strange circle drawn on the ground. Intricate red lines formed patterns she had never seen before. Beside it was a simple arrow pointing toward the center.Jessica blinked."What is this?"Her curiosity won before she knew it, and with a smile, she stepped into the circle, though she suspected it could be enchanted with
Blue Eyes, Yellow Gaze
Scott fixed his eyes on the obstacle course. The swinging logs, spinning dummies, hidden traps, and moving targets all seemed familiar now after months of training.A deep breath escaped him. Then White's voice echoed in his mind."Remember that night in Valoria when I jumped over the interior wall."Scott remained silent."Don't rely on your physical eyes. Channel your vision through mine. Let our senses overlap."Scott slowly closed his eyes. When he opened them again, his pupils had turned a brilliant blue. The world instantly changed.Every movement became clearer.Every detail sharpened. The swinging logs seemed slower. The traps revealed themselves before they activated.Even the faint movement of dust in the air became visible.Scott lunged forward.Whoosh! The first swinging log swept toward his head.He ducked beneath it without breaking stride.A spinning dummy rotated toward his ribs.Scott planted one foot, twisted his body, and slipped through the tiny gap between its woo
Training Day 03
Scott and Daniel stood across from each other, wooden weapons in hand.Months of training had changed Scott completely. The skinny slave boy who could barely survive the obstacle course was gone. His movements were sharper. His breathing was calmer. His eyes carried focus instead of desperation.Mr. Zen, Raya, and Jessica watched from the side."Try not to get knocked out too quickly this time," Daniel teased, spinning his wooden sword.Scott smirked."I'll try not to embarrass you in front of your family."Daniel laughed."Big words from someone who spent three months eating dirt.""Experience is the best teacher.""Then you should be a grandmaster by now."The spectators chuckled.Daniel suddenly pushed off the ground. His wooden sword came crashing down toward Scott's head.Scott did not block. He slipped sideways at the last second.Whoosh! The sword sliced through empty air.At the same time, Scott's wooden dagger flashed toward Daniel's ribs.Daniel had expected it.He casually
