The following day, Atticus lab was in Chaos. Something no one had expected because they were focused on how Marion county had been calm without any alien attacks in the past week.

Nothing could be done at this because Commander Rodney Brown was assassinated the previous day and all his soldiers had evacuated from Atticus lab. So it was free for cops and reporters to bage in at their own will.
