Chapter Eighteen

It was Mandy. Ava's cousin. She crinkled her eyebrows when she locked eyes with Tyler. A smile appeared on her face and it suddenly shrunk into a grimace as Tyler approached her. At first, she was stunned at Tyler's drastic change. His hair is alluringly well carved, and his skin glows like the glass.

"What are you doing here?" She said, before Tyler could utter a word.

Her words caught him off guard and he froze a bit searching for the best statement to utter. Maybe it was time he put Ava in her place. In a place he's always placed people who rained on his parade and people who looked down on him when he had nothing.

"I should be asking you that question?" Tyler ultimately summoned the courage to speak after a few seconds. He dipped his hands into his pocket, retaining eye contact. Staring at her, while she sat gave Tyler a slight bit of a sense of dominance.
