Chapter 272: Flay before the Traitors (1)

The The traitors were now desperately using their alchemy weapons that would kill a dozen of the anomalous beast at a time. The ranks of the traitors were failing, and they had no choice but to use these life-saving weapons.

But even as Merick told the tamers how these cruel men kept these weapons and allowed others to die, he was actually getting worried. The line was collapsing, and even though the alchemy weapons bought them time, the wounds and exhausted states of the traitors meant that more would die.

And so, Merick immediately sent Flay to the front line.

Flay finally took action. He rode Stryder and dashed out of the forest to reveal himself.

Flay was trembling as he was containing his emotions. Despite agreeing to the plan, Flay had intense anger against the traitors. Many of those were the ones who bullied and mocked him all his life. The more Flay thought about his killing intent, the more he realized that his anger and rage was building up.
