"Done."

Milan exhaled deeply as he wiped the sweat off his forehead.

He had just finished cleaning another room in the hotel he worked at. It was difficult work for him to be a cleaner, but he had no other choice and considered himself lucky to have even gotten the job after being rejected in other places.

Milan walks over to the next door, Room 205, and knocks announcing to be room service. He gets no response the first time and proceeds to knock three more times.

The door is swung open almost immediately, and a man with brown dishevelled hair wearing nothing but shorts glare at him.

"What do you want?"

He spits out quickly.

"I'm here to -"

Milan pauses midsentence when he sees his wife, Ella, walking out of the bathroom with a bath robe.

"Danny baby, who's at the door?"

Daniel turns around and replies her with the door still open.

"Room service"

Ella doesn't look at the door as she dries her hair with a towel.

"Well, tell them to piss off,"

Daniel looks back at Milan, but Milan is too stunned to speak as anger courses through his viens.

Milan couldn't believe his eyes that his wife was cheating on him. He barged into the door past Daniel, who wasn't expecting that.

"Ella?"

He calls her name with hurt and disbelief. Ella glances at him, and her eyes widen slightly in shock.

"What the hell are you doing here?"

Ella spits out rudely, eyeing his outfit. She crosses her legs on the bed she is sitting and sneers.

"No way. This is the job you claimed you got? A useless cleaner?!"

Ella scoffs.

Milan is heartbroken at her harsh words. He had just caught her in a hotel room with another man, and all she could do was insult him.

"Ella, what are you saying? Who is this man? Are you cheating on me?"

He asks bitterly.

Daniel, hearing the word cheat, walks up to Ella and crosses his arms, staring down at Milan.

"Ahh, we finally meet. So, you're the useless husband she married. "

Daniel scoffs, looking at his work clothes.

"Baby, he's even worse than you talked about,"

Ella rolls her eyes.

"I told you he's a poor useless idiot. Get the hell out of here right now. You don't have absolutely any right to ask me stupid questions. "

Ella glares at him, and Milan's heart shattered into pieces. When he had met Ella before he married her, she had been so sweet to him. She had been caring and acted like she loved him until he got robbed and lost all his money.

It was like she became a different person. She had cursed him every day for not having a job and money, but she had refused to divorce him just so she wouldn't ruin her image because she was a famous model.

Ella had already gotten into trouble at her company for assaulting other models, and the news had gone out. She was walking on ice and didn't want a divorce.

Milan believed she just enjoyed torturing him.

"Ella, you're my wife. How could you do this to me? I've done nothing but love you!"

Ella stood up from the bed and walked up to him.

"That's all you've ever done, you bastard! I never asked for your your stupid love. Your love doesn't pay my freaking bills! All I wanted was to live a comfortable life, but I just had to be unlucky to marry a useless man like you!"

Milan's heart pounded in his chest at his wife's outburst. It was on this day that he finally knew Ella had never loved him from the start. She had only married him because he had money back then.

Milan regretted ever meeting Ella.

"Ella-"

Ella raised a hand to stop him from talking.

"You're ruining our moment. Get the hell out of here before I make you!"

Milan refused to move. He just stared at her with pain in his heart.

"Who is this guy? Please tell me Ella!"

A punch is thrown immediately at Milan, which causes him to stumble. He grabs his chin and stares at Daniel in horror.

Daniel had just punched him.

"I'm the man she loves. What are you going to do about it, you piece of shit?"

Daniel says, grabbing Ella by her waist and kissing her. As Milan watched the scene in front of him, he couldn't help the anger that swelled in him.

"Stay away from my wife!"

Milan groans and launches himself towards Daniel, but he goes flying back with a single punch from Daniel.

"I hate bastards like you!"

Daniel growls and goes ahead to beat up Milan until he is bleeding.

Ella laughs when she sees the blood trickling down from Milan's mouth and nose. Milan lays on the ground helplessly barely able to defend himself from Daniel.

"Just so you know you're getting what a dirty orphan like you deserves! Beat him up, Danny!"

Daniel doesn't stop pounding Milan's face and kicking his stomach.

The beatings come to an end when the door is swung open by a man in a suit.

"How may I help you?"

Ella cocks an eyebrow at the man at the door.

"Miss i'm the manager"

The man at the door says staring at Milan.

"I received a complaint about noise from the occupant next door. Could you both explain what is going on here?"

"It seems you employed a bastard"

Ella glares at Milan who is laying on the floor covered in blood and weak. Daniel throws a bunch of bills at the manager and he rushes grabbing them greedily.

"I'm so sorry for the inconvenience ma'am and sir. I promise I'll handle this"

The manager says with a smile and picks Milan up escorting him out.

"Keep up the good work"

Daniel says and the manager bows, greeting him one last time.

"I hope you enjoy your stay"

Once the manager shuts the door he says one word to Milan.

"You're fired"

Milan gets on his knees begging.

"No, sir please I promise I can explain that's-"

The man shuts him up.

"I don't need your explanation. I pitied you and gave you this job and you want to cause trouble for the clients? Get out!"

Milan keeps on begging.

"Please it's not that sir-"

The man rolls his eyes as he counts the money given to him by Daniel.

"Security!"

Two hefty men walk up and grab Milan dragging him out of the hotel as he keeps on pleading helplessly.

"Please no I promise sir it's not my fault!"

The customers at the lobby stare and murmur as Milan is thrown outside despite the rain falling.

Milan sat outside letting the rain soak him as he sat on the cold hard ground wondering why his life was a mess.

The manager emerged from the hotel with a phone in his hand.

"Get out of here or I'll call the police!"
