Chapter Fifty One

Mr. Marlow immediately paled and blanched, his jaw clenched tighter together and his eyes darkened in anger then the moment he tried to lunge forward at Keith, but he was quickly held back by John who immediately got between the two men and placing a hand on Mr. Malcom's chest to keep him back.

Keith raised a brow at the old man, his eyes narrowed in a challenge. “Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mr. Malcom, it seems like you are interested in creating a scene.”

Mr. Marlow opened his mouth to say something but John was quicker and chipped in instead, “No, Mr. Thompson, I can assure you that Mr. Marlow had no intention to make such actions, right Mr. Malcolm?” John said the latter part of the sentence through gritted teeth, narrowing his gaze as if to pass a message to him.

But Mr. Marlow stood gallant, with anger written all over his face and hands clenched in a tight fist his knuckles turning white. “Get out of my way, John.”
