CHAPTER 147

The hours of the movie were long gone, and Leonid was cracking his knuckles as they made their way to their car. Amelia held an ice cream in her hand and was grinning from ear to ear.

Rose and the S twins also held ice cream in their hands. Rose was eating hers, but those men were only looking at theirs.

Handing both their ice creams to Rose, they gestured with their eyes for her to eat them too.

“You could have just said that you didn't want it,” Rose told them.

They couldn't; of course, Amelia didn't even ask them before she bought theirs, and it was going to be rude for them not to accept it.

“Where are we having dinner next?” Amelia inquired as she glanced at Leonid. “You look pale.”

He smiled at her; his appearance was already looking better after they left the cinema. The movie was too long but quite enjoyable.

“I know a restaurant to take you.’’ He replied. “You also have to be alert; Hannah's father is going to drug us at the restaurant. You aren't going to eat a thing; I will
