Tribal Territorial Grounds, Mt. Elberus

Lance and Kate settled on a large outcropping behind a large, thick tree. Luke sauntered forward towards the Acacia tree that had been the place where their first meeting. Kate had her binoculars and Lance held the AWM50, mounted on the outcropping and his right eye buried to the scope. The tingling feeling rose up to his shoulder where the rifle’s stock rests. His trigger finger jittered in excitement and he practiced his breathing steadily.

“Luke. Be careful out there.” He said through the earbuds as Luke was now distant. Lance’s vision now struggled for a clear sight for his friend could be in imminent danger.

“Do not worry much. You’ll get wrinkly.” Luke responded as he continued his direction.

“Shut up, you love birds,” Kate interjected. “All clear from here, Luke. Are you sure she is going to show up?”
