"Finally, a breath of fresh air." Ryder inhaled, as he stepped out of the hospital, scrutinizing his surroundings.
It was almost noon, and so the city was crowded with everyone going their way, no one bothered to look at him, and it was like he was inexistent. Touching his pocket, he realized that he had no money. He should have asked his sister for money before he left. Checking again, he realized that even his phone was not there. It must have been broken, it seemed like he was going to have to get a new one. Also, his scooter was nowhere to be found. Though the scooter was old and would have faults now and then, Ryder still felt a little bit attached to it and thus didn't want it to get lost just like that. But finding the scooter was not his top priority now, so he didn't care. Instead, what he wanted was revenge. He had to make sure to capture the criminals so that he was not going to be dismissed, or else that was going to spell the end of his career. Opening the interface of the System, Ryder checked the map for the location of the criminals. Much to his surprise, the map was well detailed and it was real time showing even his location. "System, can I see the location of other people apart from those you want me to see?" Ryder suddenly thought of something. "Yes, the host can see the location of other people on the map, but that's above the Host's current level." The mechanical voice replied. "The host needs to unlock the intermediate Level before he would be able to access those functions." Ryder knitted his brows, hearing this, wondering what the heck was the intermediate level. But then he couldn't be bothered, according to his knowledge, the system was not going to tell him what he didn't need to know. In the future, he was going to know all about it. "But can I know the location of places?" Ryder asked after thinking for a while. "Yes, the Host can directly check the location of a place or how to get there on the map." The mechanical voice replied. "Good," Ryder muttered, nodding in satisfaction. Then he focused on the red dot on the map. Since it was a direct mission from the system, he was able to track the location of the criminals. After looking for a while, a smile surfaced on Ryder's face and he closed the map and the interface of the System. "So, it's not far." Ryder mused, preparing to head to the location. He had been thinking of a way to get there, but after looking at the map, he realized that they were not far from the hospital. At most, it was a ten-minute walk. Also with his new physique, Ryder felt that it was no problem at all. Thinking about this, he cracked his knuckles and turned around, heading towards the direction of the house. ----- Ten minutes later, Ryder stared at the huge villa and couldn't help but chuckle. Sure these criminals were living a good life. Well, he was not too concerned with this and directly pushed open the door. All he needed was just to capture the three main criminals and take them back to the station. As for the others, he was going to come back for them later. He still needed to keep his job. Walking into the Villa, Ryder couldn't help but frown. After all, he was expecting that the Villa was supposed to be heavily guarded and that he was going to face some troubles But much to his shock, there was no one at all. Well, he couldn't blame them; after all, they were confident that no one in their right senses would dare to barge in. Ryder couldn't care less about the lack of security. Walked directly to the door, and pushed it open. "Welcome officer, we've been expecting you," A mocking voice sounded just as Ryder stopped in the sitting room. The living room was well decorated. On the couch, were three figures all with a cigarette lit in their hands. Behind them were their minions standing and glaring at Ryder fiercely. Ryder turned around, and saw a large television screen showing all that was happening outside. Instantly, he realized they had seen him when he was coming in. Well that was none of his business. It was not like the past. Besides, he had a clear goal, so he didn't care about anything else. Looking over at the three men sitting on the chair, Ryder broke the silence, pointing at them, "You three, I need you to follow me back to the police station; after all, you've neither been granted bail nor have you been tried, so you need to remain in the cell." "Hehehe!" The men immediately fell into a round of wild laughter, their gazes falling onto Ryder, a hint of mockery written all over their faces. "You punny little police officer.” One of the men sneered, his voice turning cold. “Seems like you've not learned your lesson all because you managed to keep your punny life, huh?" He growled, his eyes flashing with a dangerous glint. "You failed when you didn't manage to send me to Hades, so what can I say,” Ryder shrugged, spreading out his arms. "Besides, I need to keep my job, so you should stand up and follow me back to the station." "How dare you!" Another of the men flew into a rage, glaring at Ryder. "Don't you know where you are?" "Ain't I in a house filled with criminals?” Ryder raised his brows, staring back at the man who still seemed rather annoyed. "Hurry up, I have no time to waste." Ryder continued, getting rather impatient. "Or do you want me to force you?" He added, squinting his eyes, a sinister smile spread slowly across his face. "How dare you!" One of the men holding a baton flew into a rage and rushed forward, swinging the baton at Ryder.

"Ring! Ring!" Jasmine's phone rang just as she was about to reply."Grandfather, you wouldn't believe who I ran into today at the company." Jasmine began, not letting her grandfather, who had called, talk first."Who was that?" Bruce's old voice came from the other end of the phone."It's the policeman, Ryder, who saved us the other day," Jasmine replied, the excitement in her voice evident."Invite him over, I was not able to thank him personally for saving us the last time." Bruce's old voice came, and Jasmine turned to look at Ryder, who was standing just beside her.The phone was on loudspeaker, so Ryder heard w

"We....." The sales girls stuttered, sweat covered all their foreheads as they looked at the figure standing right in front of them.Standing right in front of them was Jasmine. The real estate company was one of her family's numerous properties, and she decided that since she was in Orange County, she was going to come have a look. She had gone in with the managers and others, and also she was introduced to the sales girls, so they naturally knew who she was.She was just done with the meeting and was about to head back home when she ran into the sales girl insulting Ryder. This instantly made her furious, after all, Ryder saved her from being sexually assaulted. If it was not for him, she didn't know what would have happened to her. Though she was a spoilt brat, she still had some sense of appreciation and instantly stepped in to defend Ryder."And you." Jasmine finally broke the silence as she turned to look at Joyce, whose eyes were wide open, and it was as though her eyeballs wer
I Would Still Be A Hundred Times More Beautiful
"Huh?"Ryder froze, then turned around to see who it was as he felt that the voice sounded familiar.Turning around, Ryder smiled bitterly the moment he saw who the other party was, his mouth twitching slightly as he stared at her.Wasn't that Joyce, his ex-girlfriend? What the heck was she doing here and what the heck did she mean by trying to catch her attention?Looking closer, he saw Joyce clad in the same attire that the sales girl before was wearing, and instantly, something dawned on him, then he took a look at the brochure once again.Seeing the name, he suddenly realized why she thought he had come to impress her.He had forgotten that Joyce worked as a sales assistant in a real estate company, and that was how she was able to meet many rich scions.Which in the end caused their break up as she felt that he was not going to achieve anything again. After all, his rank in the police was quite low and it would take almost forever for him to be promoted. So she couldn't spend her
Nice Display
Ryder sighed as he stepped out of the station. Tim's words were still echoing in his head, and he still couldn't believe that Tim had such an idea. But then at the same time, he felt as though he was right. Scorpion and his underlings most probably had connections, and it was going to take a bit of work to be able to capture them. But then would they be punished just as Tim had said they would? He was right, at most, it was a life sentence. But if he were to follow Tim's idea, that would mean that he would become a cold-hearted killer, and that was not something that he wanted. He didn't want to become a cold-hearted killer. Not all criminals deserve to die. Some were not into killing, just like the small thugs who would steal bags and stuff.Though some were also deserving of death, like Scorpion and his underlings. All he had to do was just to make sure to draw a clear line and it was going to be fine.Ryder sighed and shook his head, putting the thought to the back of his mind. Th
Tim's World View

As a result, he slept in and woke up late, resulting in his late coming. At the moment, Ryder had forgotten about his fatigue and just wanted to look for a way to get the higher-ups involved in the case.He didn't want the man to escape unpunished, he wasn't going to let it happen.Looking around the cell, Ryder froze as he couldn't find the man and his minions again. What the heck was happening? Didn't his colleague arrest and bring them back to the station?Where the heck were they? He couldn't understand what was happening."Hey, Ryder. What are you looking for?" Ryder's colleague walked up to him, wondering what the latter was looking for in the cell."Someone was arrested yesterday night, and I'm pretty sure he was brought here, now I can't find him." Ryder
Bet You, Nothing Would Happen To Me
"You bastard, how dare you treat children in such a way!" Ryder roared and rushed into the house without caring about anything."Who the heck are you?" The man narrowed his brows, observing Ryder, who had barged in."Your doom." Ryder sneered and rushed forward, not wanting to waste his time with the man."Beat him up." The man commanded, waving his hands at the two bulky men standing by the side.He had seen Ryder's attire and thus didn't give a damn. He was a little bit amused and wondered how a lowly police officer like Ryder had the guts to break into his den.The two men approached Ryder aggressively, they also looked down on him and thus didn't take him seriously. But at the moment, Ryder was pissed, so he charged directly at the two men, grabbed their incoming fists, using their momentum to pull them to himself; he suddenly released them and gave them an uppercut.Just as though they were hit by a moving truck, they were sent flying."Crash." They hit the table, crashing into i
