Chapter 21: The truth

Derek didn’t expect to see Amelia, Amelia, Ethan, or Kevin at his party. However, he remembered that Ann planned to match-make the president of Aircastle with Amelia, with Kelvin’s help. So, it wasn’t surprising that they were present.

“Hello, I am Miller. I am the new president of Aircastle and the neighbouring companies. Thank you all for coming to this gathering,” he bowed slightly and walked out through the same way he walked in as rounds of applause filled the air around him.

He entered the changing room but hesitated when he remembered what Sophia had told him. He was yet to make out anything from it. He knew he had to speak with Fred as soon as possible.

There was a soft knock on the door. It opened before Derek could say a word and Fred walked inside. “Boss,” he called softly and moved closer to Derek.

“Boss, you didn’t reveal yourself to the world, why? The last time we spoke, you said you would. What changed your mind?”

Derek turned to look at him. “Fred, I want you to tell
