The Era Of A New Beginning

Everybody rose at once, including the president. The president moved forward to shake hands with him, but Lucas remained puzzled. He was perplexed with the warm welcome, but he honorably walked round the conference room to shake each delegate's present. The president with his cabinet had smiles on their faces and they didn't hide how happy they were to meet him.

A middle-aged man had his jaw dropped since the time Lucas entered and the shock didn't wipe off until Lucas got to his side.

“ Good evening sir, you looked surprised to see me. I hope there is no problem” Lucas asked as he shook hands with the man.

“ Yeah, I'm completely overwhelmed and I have a thousand reasons to be. This resemblance is just too much that I can't even fathom how we didn't realize it till this moment. You are highly welcome, son of grace” He said, then he faced the other cabinet who had gone back to their seats.
