Lucas and his group charged through the territory as they passed by civilians and soldiers, the latter of which they dispatched off pretty quickly, as it was quite easy for Lucas to do so with his magic. He also had held from Olivia and Andvaranaut as they also used their spears to shoot lightning at the enemies, the two weapons were given to them by the court mage and they were pretty reliable weapons.
Aslaug watched them and frowned as her own sword is unable to do the same thing, which makes her limited in terms of range, which in hindsight would've been useful when she had first fought against Lucas. 'Hmm, I guess that is a limitation I have.' Aslaug thought to herself as she rode the horse as they charged at the castle. Of course, the way to the castle wasn't quite easy as there were soldiers that tried to kill them but they were dispatched off quickly as they made the horses run faster as they felt the wind over their faces and skin as they charged, it was true for Lucas, Olivia and Kriemhild as they felt the winds. Olivia and Kriemhild had also put their hair in a bun to ensure that it wouldn't be a problem for them as they rode the horse as they made their way through the kingdom and could see the castle. They were making ground and soon they were not troubled by soldiers, and reasoned that they were the ones that were stationed inside the kingdom. But of course this changed when they spotted soldiers charging at them from the castle as they got ready. "Arrows!" Andvaranaut shouted as he brought their attention to the castle and at the many arrows that were shot at them. "Can you two take care of the soldiers?!" Lucas shouted as he got ready to use his portals. "We can." Olivia said as she nodded with Andvaranaut as they got ready with their spears. "Run with them." Aslaug whispered to the horse she is riding as it neighed as she jumped forward as the others were surprised as she sailed over their heads and landed in front as she charged at the enemy soldiers. Lucas sighed as he focused on the arrows as he opened a large portal and as it fell inside of the portal as he made sure every single one of those arrows fell inside before he opened a portal right over the castle as he grit his teeth and sent to back to the archers and it managed to kill them due to the large amount of arrows that they had shot. At this time, Aslaug had charged and attacked the soldiers and killed them quickly and also cleared a path for them as she didn't like just riding the horse to battle as she wanted to have some more action and this was the good one as she was able to kill all of them and clear a path for the horses to run through the path as she jumped back on her horse after she had dealt with the lot. "Th-Thank you for doing that." Kriemhild said as she looked at the demigoddess. "You don't need to thank me for it. Now let's go and defeat that mage!" Aslaug barked as they charged through the cleared path, grinning under her helmet as she was eager to find and kill the mage. Of course, she is aware of the fact that the mage is powerful, with what she had seen of their capabilities in attacking them and Olivia's family with large amounts of magic, and the various different kinds as well. However, she isn't afraid of the confrontation, as she is a demigoddess and as such is someone who is meant to be greater than the mortals in the land. And even if she were to be killed in the battle, she would have no regrets as she would have fought and would be welcomed to the halls of Valhalla as a great warrior, and perhaps even be able to find and meet with her godly parent. Not that she would die of course, she wouldn't be caught off guard like she had been when she had been challenged by Lucas, and she is naturally stronger than all of them, and has only grown stronger ever since the fight with Lucas and she is positive that she has become much more powerful than before. And armed with her divine sword, she is certain that she will be able to cleave through the magical attacks and strike down the mage, and after that she will be able to show Lucas his place as her inferior and what the difference between them is. Aslaug focused back on the field as she saw that they were reaching the castle and saw that there weren't any guards coming out of the castle to attack them, which she realised might be because they would be inside the castle to protect the royal family. The thought was echoed by the rest of the group as Lucas narrowed his eyes at the castle, feeling a bit angry as he remembered how Falkor had been shot down by the spell, and he was quite glad that he was able to get the wyvern away from the battlefield and into safety. 'I hope that he stays there and recovers. He is in no condition to fly after that attack.' Lucas thought to himself as they neared the castle and saw the open gates. "We're about to enter the enemy castle, be ready for an ambush." Andvaranaut said with seriousness as they neared it. However, the horses had stopped short of the castle as they neighed and moved back as the riders were surprised at that before they calmed the horses down and disembarked. "It looks like they are afraid of going inside the castle." Aslaug said as she rubbed the neck of the horse she rode. "Then it's best we leave them and make them go away. It would be best for them, should we wish for them to survive." Olivia said as she rubbed the horse and didn't want it to die like this. "That is what we will do. We also cannot waste more time by staying here, we need to end this immediately." Andvaranaut said to the group as he made the horse he rode run away, free of the reins so it was able to run however it wished. The others nodded to the man and also did the same for their horses and allowed them to run away from the place, though the one Aslaug rode hesitated a bit before it went with its brethren as the group looked at the castle. "I never expected that I would be charging into the castle of a royal family in my lifetime." Andvaranaut said with steel in his voice. "Let's end this." Olivia said as she wanted to stop this and protect her parents. "Couldn't have said it better myself." Lucas said as he twirled his sword. The runes on the weapons of the five glowed as they got ready to charge the castle as Aslaug narrowed her eyes as he senses picked up something in the castle. 'That is weird.' Aslaug thought to herself as she readied herself to charge ahead.Latest Chapter
Chapter 68
Lucas and his companions stormed the palace as they charged in through the main door and ran as they didn't find any guards there, but they kept running to find the mage and stop this war. They ascended a flight of steps to get to the throne room. But they were met with the sight of more than 100 soldiers who were ready with their weapons as they immediately honed in on the intruders. "Attack!" The commander shouted as the soldiers ran. Arrows and magic flew towards them as Lucas and Aslaug charged forward and sliced the magical attacks while the others followed their lead while dodging the arrows as the enemy soldiers were charging at them at the same time. Olivia wreathed her spear with lightning as she threw it as it sailed through the air and impaled through a line of soldiers and stabbed through the heart of a mage, before it yanked itself out and flew back towards Olivia as she grabbed it as she met the soldiers blades with her alongside the rest. Andvaranaut had noticed ho

Chapter 66
Lucas felt his power increase as the runes were becoming more attuned to his body as his own body was getting used to them as well as they were harmonizing as he ran towards the golems and his own brats as the others followed on their foot as they charged at the enemies. Alpha and the rest of the boys also noticed their Lord and the army coming towards them with Lucas at their helm. the guy himself nodded to them as he approached as they smiled at his acknowledgement, but focused back on the battle as they knew that it had more priority at the moment. Lucas charged forward, not about to let this opportunity go by as Aslaug immediately followed after him, being the only one who is equal ground to him, followed by Andvaranaut, Olivia and Kriemhild as they charged. He reached the nearest golem as his sword sang as he slashed it's leg as he passed one of his boys as he slashed off its right arm, grabbed it to have leverage before he plunged the sword into the golems head, got a foot
Chapter 65
Lucas couldn't believe his eyes as he saw the golems that were attacking them as he couldn't help but squint his eyes as he saw the things. His irritation growing at how much of a problem this new mage was being to them and how much he wanted to end his life so that he doesn't have to deal with all these things. By now the rest of his group had also spotted the golems as many of the soldiers paled at the sight while Andvaranaut, Olivia and Kriemhild were tense as they saw them. Aslaug just frowned as she looked at the golems, her expression hidden by the helmet. Lucas licked his lips as he growled at the sight of the enemy, the image of his wyvern being hurt was etched into his mind as he could vividly recall the sight of his charred chest and damaged wings. He was going to make them pay for what they have done. "Why don't you use your portals to just send them back." Andvaranaut asked him as they had moved back due to the assault. "It still costs me energy to use my magic. I don
Chapter 64
The soldiers watched with wide eyes as the portal devoured the attacks from the enemy as they were awed by the sight in front of them as Lucas grit his teeth while the others watched. "Woah." Olivia said in awe at the sight. "Impressive." Andvaranaut said with a nod. "Master Lucas..." Kriemhild said in awe at the giant portal in front of her. The other soldiers who are being protected by him were also awed as they watched the deadly attacks being taken into the portal as he himself is gritting his teeth to ensure that the portal is stable and stays open, otherwise then the soldiers behind him are sure to die, while the more skilled ones would at least be able to dodge the attacks. Aslaug watched the spectacle as she gripped her sword tight as she saw the magic he is using as she watched the powerful attacks being devoured, and she knew that he would also be able to do the same thing to her if he wanted to. Lucas kept his focus as he kept the portal open until the attack wa
Chapter 63
Olivia charged as she tapped her foot on the side of her horse as it picked up its pace alongside her master's as the two stabbed through the soldiers in front of them. The remaining soldiers were a few mages, archers and a handful of melee soldiers as their army charged at them. Olivia jumped from her horse as her spear channeled lightning through its tip as she threw the weapon towards the soldiers. It impaled clean through three of them as she landed on the ground and she charged forwards as she was attacked by the archers and mages. She narrowly dodged the attacks as she saw the impaled soldiers raising their weapons which surprised her as the one in the front is wielding a sword, the second and third are mages as she was impressed by their tenacity to keep going. But she focused once more as she unsheathed her sword as she sliced off the arm of the one in front as she pulled out her spear as the blood splashed on the ground as she glared at the soldiers as her spear's blade
