"Mr. Dylan, are you comfortable? Do you want anything?" Clara asked ardently.

Dylan just threw a glance at her and ignored her like there was no one there. Clara felt embarrassed, despite everything she has done to make sure he gets into the good books of Dylan, it just isn't working.

A big shot like Dylan was worth consideration and currying favor from him was her target.

"Sir, you know this Bank might cost tens of billions and it can be---"

"I know!" Dylan interrupted with a contempt look.

'I was just trying to keep a conversation with you, that's all. You don't have to be rude. You're not even the most wealthy man in the city. No one knows Dylan, so why does he have to behave like the whole world is at his feet. Gosh, it's disgusting and annoying!' Clara rumbled in her mind.

If Dylan knew what was going on in her head now, he might have intensify it just to tell what being rude is.

Subsequently, the elevator lurched to a stop and Miss Julian alongside Scott Hudson walked out of the elevator with two bodyguards in black expensive suits.

'It's Scott Hudson' One of the security guards whispered.

'Wow, I haven't seen him since I started working as a receptionist,'

'He's a rare gem, he doesn't even show up like this all the time'

'It must be because of some important matter, I'm sure of that'

"....." Different opinions and suggestions swept through.

'Mr. Scott came to see Dylan? Dylan must be a big shot. Oh my goodness, what have I done to myself.' Remorse plastered Clara's face.

As they walked straight to Dylan, the security guards and all the staff stood up and bowed respectfully to him as an act of royalty. The guards remained motionless until he had walked down the hallway.

"Mr. Dylan?" He extended his hands and shook hands with him, "I am Mr. Scott Hudson."

'Is this the famous Scott Hudson? Man is a legend' Dylan had to compose himself.

Then the thought occur to him that he just shook hands with the Mr. Scott Hudson. It could've been an achievement then and all his friends will definitely hear of it after.

A smile crawled over his face, "I am Dylan."

"Could you mind if we talk privately?" Scott requested.

"Sure!"

The elevator lurched to a stop at the 20th floor. Dylan couldn't help himself but smile at the opulent designs and decorations as they walked straight into an office.

It never occured to him that he will one day walk with Scott Hudson into his office at one of the biggest Banks in Stone's City.

"Could you give us a minute?" Scott told Julian as he paved the way for Dylan into his office. Nobody except the shareholders have entered Mr. Scott Hudson's office.

He practically own the 20th floor and that floor is off limits. That was the kind of fear He has induced on every staff that had work at Stone's City Bank.

Silence shadowed the room as Dylan and Mr. Scott Hudson sat across from each other, the tension palpable. The air was thick with anticipation as Scott leaned forward, his eyes locked intently on Dylan.

"So, Mr. Dylan," Scott began, he cleared his voice, "I must say, I'm impressed. You're a college student, and yet you're making an offer to buy our bank. That's...audacious, to say the least. But we came at a price of $22 Billion."

Dylan smiled calmly, his eyes never leaving Scott's face. "I'm just a guy who sees opportunities, Mr. Hudson. And I believe this bank has a lot of potential. So Yes, $22 Billion it is."

Scott's eyebrows shot up in surprise. "You're not even going to negotiate? We just threw out a number and you buy it?"

"I've done my research, Mr. Hudson. I know what this bank is worth. And I'm willing to pay top dollar for it." Dylan shrugged.

The room was silent for a moment, the only sound heard was the soft humming of the air conditioner. Then, Scott let out a low whistle.

"Well, I'll be damned," he said, a slow grin spreading across his face. "You're either the most confident person I've ever met, or you're completely insane."

Dylan chuckled. "Maybe a little bit of both, Mr. Hudson."

Scott leaned back in his chair, a look of admiration on his face. "You know, I think we're going to get along just fine, Mr. Dylan. Make a payment and Sign here, so we can make it official."

"Where do I pay?" Dylan asked and all that kept running through Scott's mind was how fast this deal was unfolding. He didn't even request to pay a 10% first, he just want to pay everything at once?

"You can pay here." Mr Scott turned the screen towards him and there were many options to paid with.

Instantly, the payment was successful and the way Scott looked at Dylan changed instantly. His eyes bulged out of his socket in utter astonishment.

'Only few have tens of billions in assets, talk alone in cash, and only an insane person would pay $22 Billion in just one fold, emptying their account to do a thing like that wasn't business wise, but this college student did that? Is he from those invincible family?'

Dylan glanced through the purchase agreement and all the shares purchase agreement, before finally signing for the handover.

Scott's eyes sparkled with curiosity. "You know, I have to ask...how does a college student come up with $22 billion?"

Dylan just smiled. "Let's just say I have my ways, Mr. Hudson."

'That's it... Suspicion confirmed, he's definitely from those secretly rich family, Heard they are not just rich! Wow!!'

As they exchanged contact information, Scott turned to Dylan with a grin. "You know, I think we're going to be great friends, Dylan. And please, call me Scott. We don't have to be too formal."

Dylan smiled back, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I'd like that, Scott. Let's stay in touch."

Scott called the head staff and the shareholders after the deal went through. And discussed the handover with them. "From now henceforth, Mr. Dylan Bradley is now the CEO and owner of Stone's City Bank."

The news of Dylan buying the Bank spread like wildfire through the whole Bank. Everyone were shocked and couldn't believe what happened. Some of the shareholders wants to meet with this Dylan boy.

Some of the female staff were glad that they have been a change of management since they couldn't stand the sexual harassment from most of the shareholders.

'The deal happened? And I have just insulted my Boss before now? What is he going to do me? How do I find a better job with a ruin reputation?' Clara's shoulder slumped as regrets crushed on her.

As Dylan emerged from the elevator, Clara prostrated herself before him, her face streaked with tears as she begged fervently,

"Please, don't fire me. Don't ruin my reputation please. I will do anything. Anything you say!"

The thug nodded frantically as he got no other options. Even the other thugs knew that fighting Dylan was like committing suicide. “We got a message... earlier this evening. Just the location and target, and the target is your friend, Austin. But your name was there… with a warning attached to your name.”“What kind of warning?” Dylan's tone darkened as he was already on the verge of losing patience. The cold fury in his chest wasn’t from the thugs in front of him. It was from whoever had dared to target his friends while hiding behind shadows. A coward, bold enough to pull strings from safety, but too weak to face him directly. They didn’t just pick the wrong target. They stepped into a territory they had no business entering, a line that once crossed, could never be undone. Now, there was no going back. Not for them. Not after targeting someone Dylan cared about. They hadn't just made a mistake, they have declared war...!“Start talking...!” Dylan ordered, and one doesn't need

Dylan wasn’t one to act on emotion. Logic had always been his compass. It was a principle he had learned from the Tripods over the years, and it had saved him more times than he could count. But tonight, logic was out the window.Someone had dared to lay hands on his friend… and that was a line Dylan couldn’t allow anyone to cross. He could already tell the men standing before him were nothing more than local muscle. They were clearly paid thugs sent by someone hiding behind power. Probably someone who thought they were untouchable. That alone made Dylan's blood boil.He despised people like that. Cowards who sat behind desk or security walls, pulling strings and sending others to do their dirty work. To Dylan, they were the worst kind of threat. Ones who hid behind power instead of owning it.Dylan’s jaw tightened as he took another step forward, his presence alone was making the night heavy.“Who sent you? I won't ask again…”At this moment, Dylan's voice has lost all calmness. It w
