At this moment, Erica was sitting beside Logan, her eyes filled with confusion. The way the man had entered had drawn too much attention, and now they were completely unable to leave.

Logan’s response made Erica’s heart skip for a moment, causing her brows to furrow.

Erica, sitting beside him, grabbed his arm and leaned in, whispering with a heavy breath.

“You’re seriously an idiot. You’re challenging them… all your money?”

He didn’t know this man, but he looked younger than her. Someone who had never experienced hardship like this would likely suffer terribly.

“Listen to me. Just say you only have one thousand dollars, and then we leave.”

Of course, they couldn’t just leave this place so easily anymore. It would be better to gamble a small amount and then get out afterward.

Logan simply replied, “I’ll bet $100,000 in a single game. How about it?”

She genuinely felt that the man beside her was insane.

Logan glanced briefly at Erica. This woman he had just met seemed to love interfering in everything. If he could finish this matter quickly, that would be better. Logan promptly brushed her hand away.

Logan’s words made everyone exchange glances. Still, one of them stepped forward and handed him the device used for payments in this place.

“You need to pay now.”

Erica held her breath as she watched Logan immediately transfer the money from his account, hoping that this was all just a mistake, that it would never actually happen.

The man who had approached confirmed it.

In an instant, Erica felt her strength drain away. Looking at Logan in disbelief, she cursed inwardly.

“Seriously… what an idiot…”

A moment later, under a suffocating atmosphere, the game was about to begin. Logan held the chips in front of him and pushed them forward.

“I bet everything,” Logan said.

Seeing a foolish young man wager such a huge amount, they had no intention of letting him go.

“Alright then. But don’t cry when you lose.”

Hearing that, Logan simply laughed. It was a laugh that no one else could understand. At this point, they all just assumed Logan had gone crazy.

In reality, Logan would receive compensation many times greater than anything they could imagine.

Logan’s arrogant demeanor made the men look at him coldly. Such unexpected confidence.

When the dice game began, everyone held their breath in anticipation. Especially because Logan showed no sign of pressure at all.

Logan gave his answer immediately. Erica, standing beside him, looked at him in fear.

“What is this guy even thinking…?” she wondered inwardly.

But of course, Logan’s answer was valid. The criminals didn’t bother hiding their smiles as they exchanged glances.

Meanwhile, Logan had already realized that the dice shaker was using a trick to deceive him.

Logan was completely unfazed. His eyes remained fixed on the cover in front of him. And when the cover was revealed, showing “High,” the men erupted in cheers.

Logan’s chips were immediately taken away. But his expression still didn’t change. He stood up and calmly said to them in a flat tone,

“Congratulations.”

As he left the place, his expression should have been dark—he might even have been crying. But he didn’t look like that at all.

When he finally stepped out through the large red door, a wide smile appeared on his face.

It was an amount of money he never thought he would ever have. Even when he used to work before, he never imagined earning this much.

Receiving such a huge sum naturally made him very happy. He could do a lot of things with it.

But someone suddenly stopped in front of him and shouted.
